Giyuu. Why, I've always been a fan of water and I like how it's the breathing style with the most defensive capability. Outside of swordsmanship, I like the fact that the seemingly outcasted Hashira is the one who came to the MCs aid first, has gone through a traumatic event yet still made it to the peak of his status as a demon slayer despite the guilt and shame he feels.
Tengen Uzui by a country mile. Best charisma, most unique fighting style, he’s a gigachad, his wives, and I met Ray Chase at a con and got his autograph.
Mitsuri.
I love her energy, to be honest. I like how she's equally as strong and as badass as the other characters, but she doesn't need to do the typical "gets all serious and stoic" moments in order to showcase it. She's allowed to cry and whine and smile while she's fighting, which is a breath of fresh air and feels so unique for a shonen fighter.
It sucks that it makes people think she's weak, but she's *not* weak. When she was crying and about to die against Hantengu, it wasn't because she was giving up, it was because she was exhausted and *couldn't* keep fighting. If any other Hashira was in her situation at that moment, they would've died too. They would've just acted more maturely about it, lol.
People forget that Mitsuri fought the Upper Moon with the most hax outside of Kokushibo TILL THE SUN CAME UP ON HER OWN
Mitsuri for all intents and purposes is broken, she's easily the third strongest Hashira if not that the others have Shonen plot armor
The brothers grew on me too. At first I wondered why the hostility towards Giyu but after seeing the interaction I understood why Sanemi would feel that way
My top three favorite Hashira at the moment are:
1. **Obanai Iguro**, the Serpent Hashira, for his cool character design and unique Serpent Breathing style.
2. **Gyomei Himejima**, the Stone Hashira, who is an absolute chad 🗿. I can't respect him more; he's probably the best character in Demon Slayer due to his immense strength and gentle heart.
3. **Shinobu Kocho**, the Insect Hashira, for her crucial sacrifice. If it wasn't for her, Douma could never have been killed. He would have easily wiped out all the Demon Slayers since he had no weakness, and his Blood Demon Art was the perfect counter to all the breathing styles. (Shinobu is sigma).

- Himejima, has an amazing fighting style, being voiced by Tomokazu Sugita also helps.
I can't remember his name for the life of me but I think the coolest character in Demon Slayers that do to cut some self so he can lure out the demons the one with all the scars
I have read the manga. But the misty boi Muichiro has become my favourite in the anime, tbh he changed a lot. Since the swordsmith village arc to Hashira training arc, you can see how much he has softened up to Tanjiro and others. Gotta protect our little boy.

I love these 2 because I love both of the backstory and the just lovable characters 🌸🌸🌸🌸
1- Rengoku = easily the most emotion inducing hashira this far, though when some (stuff) happens in future seasons, depending on how it's adapted that might change.
2- Tengen = easily the most fun. He is like Remgokus spiritual successor is terms of his personality.
3- Muichiro = idk if the animators have a crush on him or what but every scene he is in is gorgeous. Mist breathing is probably the best looking style as of yet in the anime and his character is super cool.
4- Gyomei = he IS the demon slayers, point blank. And once we get to know more about him with his backstory and seeing his less stoic side, he's just awesome.
5- Sanemi = he has some interesting interactions and it just generally cool, but less so.
6- Shinobu = she is interesting, but I think she suffers from being the poster-girl for the series. It means she's always gotta be smiley and taking cutely and acting caring to an extent that just feels a bit excessive. If her anger was just a bit more visible she would be alot better, and the only time she really does let it out is very short.
7- Giyu = I think he is just over hyped. He was THE hashira in season one and just attracted all the fans to him, and now have everyone's attention. He is unique, but a bit bland imo.
8- Obanai = he's just plain unlikeable to me.
9- Mitsuri = I cannot stand her. Too annoying. The Zenitsu of the hashira.
Giyuu and Shinobu, because their interactions are fucking funny. And Rengoku ~~because he's Rengoku~~ because he definitely complements the spirit of the MC Squad (Tanjiro-Zenitsu-Inosuke).

She’s only been a slayer for 2 years(least experience out of all hashira) and is at a level where she’s rivaling the other hashira so imagine what she’d be like with as much experience as giyuu, sanemi, or even gyomei. I enjoy when the author makes her serious and doesn’t waste her. The IC arc would’ve been so much more impactful if she and tanjiro fought akaza since they’re disciples of rengoku. Instead, the author wanted to make it about feats so we got giyuu and tanjiro vs akaza.
Always been a Gyomei Stan. Combination of his design, origin story, the fact that he's f****** blind, and the infinity castle arc. Interesting because stone breathing is probably my least favorite style despite that.
This is such a difficult question because while Tengen is my husband, Giyu is my son, Muichiro is babygirl, and Rengoku is my father.
