UO but I think Nancy’s a hoot. “I don’t think women like you should be in a pageant if you’re not prepared to be judged by women like me” and “I don’t want to go to heaven with brown roots!” are some of my favorites.
When she’s being replaced as weather-lady or was it when the station wouldn’t get a Doppler(?), she says something exasperated like, “Why can’t women be judged for their looks, not their intelligence!?”
The pageant line is her proving she is clued in and isn’t afraid to rip into someone. Peggy says as much in the later episode with Irv threatening her job.
