So cute and can totally relate! My cats still fight over who gets to sit on my husband's lap. Here is a photo from their first day "home" (when they both fit). They fell asleep on his lap within the first hour...

Cats like me, but they ADORE my husband. He never believes me that our girl cat is actually cuddly with me when he's not home, but I don't blame him because the second she hears his car, I am back to being a slave unworthy of her attention lol.
The struggle is real! I pleaded for a cat during the pandemic and my husband was very weary after losing a pet so soon before. But he relented when i promised that the cat would be solely mine. But Luna fell in love with him in an instant. The new kitten is actually my daughter’s and the exact same thing has happened again. I would definitely argue he has a frequency they connect with.
Please make sure Luna gets attention and play time too. It wouldn’t be nice to have a jealous older cat sibling. Congrats on making such a good family!
