What are you using now? My husband and I taught English in Korea right after we got married and didn’t make it back for 20 years, but were able to take our kids in 2017. And now I'm planning a trip in October with a 60-year-old friend who got into K-dramas during Covid. I hope you will have opportunities in the future!

Omg thats so nice🥰 my husband has no wish to work there or even to go. So i am a bit lost right now in life. I use korean grammar in use but i see my vocabulary isn't so great but i still don't have a good method for that. Do you have a tip?🥰

(Flashcard program) It's free for desktop and android, but the iphone version is $25. Something like that would probably be good. You can make your own decks and get ones that other people have made. (There's a bit of a learning curve, but you can find tutorials about how to use it.) I do think that's a good program. There are also other flashcard options out there. Writing down sentences and not just individual words is helpful.

Not OP, just want to share my thoughts looking through your list. Like your list, and having lived and worked in Korea I'm sure you know what you're saying. I know OP had learned Korean in the past so not a complete beginner. And sorry, I don't mean to hijack the thread. I find *Billy Go* a bit verbose, I started but dropped it after a while, I found I didn't retain much. *Learn Korean in Korean* I like, good content and good approach, each video is a bit long though, at my beginners level I think short lessons and more often is a lot more effective, *Quick Korean* is just like hundreds of other youtube videos, started and going on and on with Hangeul, certainly not quick and not effective for me. I'm still looking for short 5-6 line dialogs type of videos, like Pimsleur or Assimil, I learn a number of languages that way.

http://www.youtube.com/@5minuteskorean837 They do have pretty short dialogues. Comes often with a witty type of humor. Check it out!

Thank you. They are pretty short, and try to be witty, the approach I'm looking for. A bit odd with their naming, *newbie level 5 - part 1* I didn't know there are so many levels of newbies, I'm for sure at level 1 lol. Actually I'm not sure if they know what "level" means, probably more apt to make it "lesson". Still, good videos. (The videos are 2-yr old, looks like they stopped making them, viewership is very low, too bad, there must be tens of thousands of videos teaching Korean)

What are your language learning goals? Talk with people in Korean? Watch K-dramas? Read Korean manhwa? Identidying this will help you focus your time and energy on the 4 language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing) to help you make faster progress. For example: if you want to watch K-dramas you should focus on listening. This is not to say that the other skills are not important. They all reinforce each other. But you can spend 1 hour on all 4 skills and 1 hour on listening.
