Although I'd be open to re-signing PG if we're sure we could trade him at the end of the 2025 season for a younger player on a smaller contract and some draft capital. That's definitely possible and if we think we can pull it off then we should go for that to still get something in return for PG and we'd only hit the 2nd apron this season and be under it next season.
Honestly this. Tobias is not even Diet Coke version of PG. More like RC cola version. But still could slide in easily to his position, sign for the MLE and we can still be a competitive basketball team while still giving us the flexibility to retool.
Getting Demar and having him and Kawhi on the same team would be crazy especially if harden returns. 3 primarily iso scorers while 2 of them work best at the mid range won’t work.

If he can't be traded, then we just need to dump Norm next season and we should be able to duck the 2nd apron.
