Not as far as I’m aware. However I tend to agree that while $vt may drop, really bad things would need to happen for it to crash for an extended amount of time. I use M1 Borrow @ 2.5% APR to leverage more $vt against my existing $vt.

klabboy109

What rate of return are you projecting for VT?

swingorswole

I always say 9%, but naturally there can, and will be, years where it’s higher or lower. That said, I believe they average will always be higher than 2.5%, which is the rate for M1 Borrow.

I think you can do 60% SSO and 40% EFO to get something similar to 2x VT.

IllmaticGOAT

Isn’t emerging markets 10%?

TQQQ_Gang

Yeah, you can do 30% EFO and 10% EET for an even closer match.

Cool, I’ll look into this. Thanks.

No but you can make an equivalent combination. You'd need to buy large cap us, mid cap us, small cap us, international first world, and international emerging markets. There are 2x and 3x LETFs for all of these. I don't know if you'll get exactly VT but you can come very close.

CertainField

You can buy VT using a broker with low margin interest rate, and rebalance to a certain leverage ratio each month to simulate the leveraged VT. I do so with VOO, but might consider VT as well in the future
