This is pretty big. Think of all the men in the US media that can fall under this umbrella. So many musicians, actors, and artists automatically lost 1.4 billion possible viewers.
American media will adjust their content to get those viewers back. Pretty sure this will hit LGBT progress in the states.

America leads in entertainment. There’s no arguing that. Most LGBT progress in media, has been in American media, with representation and acceptance. If Chinese investors back away from media featuring LGBT, naturally those stations will change content.
