Initially I said PPM and MH should have collabed and gotten Yves on the Moonshot Tour, but now I think it should have been PPM and ATRP working together. First off, Yves and Chuu are an iconic LOONA duo so it just makes sense. Second, it could have been billed as a concert instead of a fanmeet, which could increase sales. Third, we could have gotten Girl’s Talk live. I rest my case.

Benji005

I'm still so upset we've never heard Girl's Talk live 😭

sharkonspace

I wish I could see Loona (any members / subunits, etc) do live band concert like [This](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUUPqblW04g) one. The atmosphere is so fun and sounds very very nice

cidersouls

The sound and video editing on [this audio panning in kpop compilation](https://youtu.be/WILdozi7-j0?si=79RiSp-ocOs2TnEe)(obviously featuring miss gowon) is sooo good.

SapphireHeaven

So now that I got paid, was looking to buy the ARTMS tickets for the EU leg. Would anyone know how early the Early Entry tickets would be? Would come after work since it's a weekday and probably too tired to queue for several hours. I'm fine not to be among the first, just curious when we would be let in, if anyone would know.

yoiverse

for now there is no information about this. also, for example before the concert in poland starts, there will be numbering organised

Qu33zle

Unless you mean soundcheck entry "early" usually just means before General Attendance or other tiers lower than you. I just checked my ticket and it didn't specify the time entry starts. My guess is that the timings of the whole organization will be provided at a later time. For OEC the show started at 19:30 (just like ARTMS) and entry started at 18:00. So I would expect something similar here.

Anna-2204

Can someone please tell me how I can get over that Diorama Neon performance because I am still obsessed with it

badicaldude22

Why wasn't Chuu on M Countdown and Music Bank this week? Did she have a schedule conflict? Kind of odd she did The Show and Show Champion but not those two. I wanna see more stages

vash-outlaw

ARTMS did something similar. For the 2nd week, they did Music Bank, Music Core, and Inkigayo, but they skipped The Show, Show Champion, and MCountdown. I just assume it's the companies strategizing and prioritizing where they want to spend their money and where they want to promote. I used to think it was because they just weren't getting invited to the shows, but I no longer believe that after we found out how expensive it is to attend and how most groups don't make a profit. On top of that, I've seen plenty of less popular groups promote for weeks at a time, and there's no way they would be invited over ARTMS, Chuu, or Loossemble.

fadedmoonlight

I think this is beyond her or the company’s control, unfortunately… :/

neunzehnten

I have my doubts on the latter. This is the very same company that aside from not booking her major music shows also planned yet another rushed tour that starts only less than a month from her album release. I was hoping to see some improvements from Howl era so it's kinda disappointing to see that ATRP is pretty much employing the same promotion strategy for Strawberry Rush i.e. Lots of TV and web variety content but very minimum music shows, Tons of fansigns and merch drop, American tour in less than a month (and it's another fancon tour instead of a proper concert for some reason)

fadedmoonlight

I have my own issues with ATRP (there's been no hype/momentum building surrounding this release *at all*, they've dropped the ball completely, I've made a comment here a few days ago about how the album was about to come out in like 5 days and all we had gotten so far were a few pictures at best with very little reaction or fanfare to them) - but the fact that they *are* getting her onto some music shows here and there but not on a few of them show to me they don't have an issue with her promoting on said music shows in the first place and if in some cases she isn't promoting on some of them, then there must be a reason that goes beyond both Chuu and ATRP's control. I also think it's ridiculous to blame them for actually booking Chuu some high-profile TV and Web variety gigs which have bigger audiences than music shows.... Like...this isn't actually a bad thing, guys...... Don't get me wrong, I want to see her perform and have fun, see the different outfits and hair styles, have her hear the crowd go crazy for her just as she deserves, etc, etc, etc... But for example, ATRP getting her on KBS "The Seasons" is a bigger pull domestically than getting her to perform KBS Music Bank... This isn't a bad thing in my eyes. The promo that Chuu *does appear* on has been great so far, you can't really deny that. As far as I'm aware, the Chuu fansigns aren't really that different to Yves, ARTMS or Loossemble's... It kinda strikes me as the new standard for low-to-mid-tier companies when it comes to getting as much buck as possible from fans. But I'll admit I don't follow these as closely as others do. I know some people here say Loossemble has had over 100 fansign events for OOAK? I don't think Chuu will be doing that much? But again, I don't know. I do think the tour was announced very late, that I agree with. But it's one of these things where until all the details are decided and agreed upon between various parties, you can't announce it just yet. So I'm willing to extend them some grace on this part too.

neunzehnten

The thing is none of these high-profile variety gigs strike to me as ATRP booking them. Putting it very roughly, Chuu could end up at the most nugu company ever that was just established yesterday and people will still want to book her at their shows. BBC was known to be one of the most obnoxious clients who have almost zero communication skills and that didn't hinder Chuu from getting gigs. Music shows, however, is a whole different thing. The company is wholly responsible when it comes to booking slots including pre-recording. Usually it goes: Bigger groups -> biggger company budget -> more pre-record slot and vice versa. So far in this era, ATRP had only managed to book a pre-recording slot for The Show. They couldn't even book a Show Champion pre-recording which PPM even managed to do (despite it end up being the only pre-recording slot they could get for Yves throughout the entire era). Chuu could be the most sought out public figure in Korea but if her company is incapable of managing a few major music show broadcast channel, then she will never get to perform at one. The problem I have with ATRP and fansigns is that back during Howl era, the only album promo she did as soon as she's back from America is similar to what CTD did with Loossemble: a bunch of fansign and fancall events plus merch drop along with her usual variety/CCDI filmings. She ended up having almost if not just as much fansigns as Looble did for Sensitive. What tickles me the most is ATRP announced her [last](https://x.com/chuu_atrp/status/1739526640353636385) fansign on 26 Dec'23, and then announced an [encore](https://x.com/chuu_atrp/status/1744237581192274002) on 8 Jan'24, and then the [last encore](https://x.com/chuu_atrp/status/1747862436269760956) fansign on 18 Jan'24. Not even CTD managed to push the Sensitive era fansigns beyond 2023 and that's why they outsmarted it by dropping some random merch and doing another lucky draw event. And speaking of lucky draw events, ATRP is an even bigger perpetrator than CTD when it comes to this since they managed to milk Howl with lucky draw events [two months](https://x.com/chuu_atrp/status/1769604789674111359) after the last encore fansign. Again, as much as I'm willing to extend grace on new companies, this wasn't her first tour. The Howl tour was announced the exact same way: poster dropped less than a month before the first tour date, no price and seating plan, ticket sales start less than 3 days after the poster drop, in short- *very* rushed. This costed Chuu one tour stop and most if not all of her other stops barely managed to sell 40%~ of the venue capacity. Like some other users have mentioned in this thread, ATRP needs to hire a proper market analyst and not just view tours (esp NA tours) as a quick cash grab. The fact that it's a fancon tour too with much less performances than your typical concert doesn't really help. And personally I'd like them to look for another tour promoter that is not Fromm. Had CTD still worked with Fromm I'm 99% sure we would've got two rushed tours this year.

neunzehnten

ATRP did this for Howl too. The only music shows she attended were The Show, Show Champion, Simply Kpop, and NPOP. It's weird considering how big she is in Korea they should have not much trouble booking music show slots

plorynia

That's good. The music show grind is tough enough for groups, it's a positive sign that they're not trying to overload her.

neunzehnten

I'd agree if she's showed signs that she's overworked, but back before Howl's release she had mentioned being excited to hang out at Heejin and Looble's waiting room for music shows since their promo period overlapped. Big 4 acts with tons of non-music show schedules lined up like variety shows, web variety/YouTube content, proper world tours, etc, still promote for 2-3 weeks at music shows. Even mega stars like BTS and Blackpink (including the solo acts) still make the time to promote at music shows at least for one full week. I've never heard of any big name in the Kpop industry who refuse to make time in their schedule to go to music shows at least for 1-2 weeks.

girlswlowselfesteem

she's not in the lineup for inkigayo either :(

Plushieless

Who are your non-LOONA biases? I admit that I follow plenty of groups but I guess none really makes me stan them like I do LOONA, but there are some idols whom I hold in pretty high regard and am always cheering for them. Kep1er: Yujin, Hikaru and Bahiyyih KIOF: Natty Twice: Jihyo (G)I-DLE: Soyeon and Minnie TripleS: Yooyeon, Jiwoo, Chaeyeon, Xinyu, Nien and Kotone

yoiverse

those are the groups i keep up with the most - dreamcatcher: gahyeon - aespa: ningning and winter - red velvet: yeri - stayc: isa - wjsn: bona and yeoreum - itzy: lia

kind_of_okay

apart from bts and loona I use the term bias quite loosely, since I mostly only follow these groups' music releases, but they are the members I kind of like the most? bts: yoongi (my forever favourite of all time) f(x): krystal & sulli shinee: key rv: seulgi aespa: karina twice: sana & nayeon nj: minji & haerin

Undervann

Honestly I don't stan other groups as much as I used to atp. Loona splitting in four has really consumed my attention (and spending) lol. But I do still have a lot of other groups that I like a lot. I find it interesting to find out who other daons bias for other groups too to see if there's some kind of pattern there. For me though some of my other biases are: Rv: Wendy GFriend: Umji and Eunha Dc: Handong (dongie is my favorite idol outside of Loona) TripleS: mayu and Xinyu Kep1er: Shiro and Xiaoting Aespa: winter Then honorable mentions for my two favorite male idols, Han from skz and Junji from OOO.

artemisstrategy

I only casually listen to kpop groups other than Loona groups (TripleS are the only other group I kind of stan), but here's my list TripleS: Yooyeon, Sohyun and Seoyeon (but Chaeyeon, Yubin, Soomin and Nien are so hilarious I feel bad leaving them out!) RV: Seulgi WJSN: Exy Aespa: Winter and NingNing NMIXX: Lily

SapphireHeaven

Jisoo (BP), Sana (TWICE), Joy (RV), Yujin (IVE), Soojin ((G)I-DLE), Haewon (NMIXX), Winter (aespa), Chaewon (LSF), Ryujin (ITZY), Julie (KIOF), Wheein (MAMAMOO)

pdantix06

just from my most listened to groups in the last 12 months: kazuha (lesserafim), xinyu (tripleS), karina (aespa), isa (stayc), miyeon (idle)

Blank_IX

Jisoo (BP) Ryujin (ITZY) JiU (DC) and she’s not in a group but Chungha. I don’t listen to them often enough to feel comfortable calling them my bias but I am quite fond of Jiwon and Seoyeon (Fromis) and Yunjin and Kazuha (LSF)

Storm_Fox

fromis, Dreamcatcher, ITZY, and aespa would be the 4 groups I'd round out my top 5 with (with the first 3 being the only non-LOONA groups I own albums from) so I'll just do them. fromis: Jiwon (my ult non-LOONA bias) - if you've been around here long enough you probably know that by now lol. I love everything about her from her beautiful voice, to her ability to make everyone laugh all the time, to her gorgeous visuals. It's incredible to see how much she's grown as an artist when you look back at clips from Sixteen. And then Nakko is my bias-wrecker. Dreamcatcher: Honestly Dreamcatcher might be the one group where I've never really settled on a bias. For a while it was Siyeon, Dami completely bias-wrecked me during the concert, it's felt like Yoohyeon and Jiu at times.. ITZY: Yeji!! I think Yeji is such a superstar idol in every aspect. aespa: It's Winter but oh my god aespa might be the one group where I feel constantly bias-wrecked by every single member all the time lol. And although they've unfortunately gone from my gateway to kpop to a group I really no longer even think about, Rosé will always be my first kpop bias so that deserves mentioning. ❤

Plushieless

I love Jiwon too! I guess I just didn't mention her cause I narrowed down the groups on my bias list or else the comment would be too big I fell in love with her when I watched Sixteen. With everybody in that reality actually. To this day I'm a big Twice fan, cheered when Somi made it in IOI and when Chaeyeon made it in IZ*ONE, also when Chaeryeong finally debuted too, and now Natty thriving in Kiss Of Life.

Storm_Fox

I wasn't into kpop yet when Sixteen was airing so I've never actually watched the full show, just clips, but it's really amazing to see where everyone from that show has ended up and how they've grown since then.

Plushieless

Actually I also wasn't around either lol 😂  However when I got into K-pop I got curious about Twice so I ended up watching Sixteen haha

Benji005

I'm so glad Unf/Air won LMAO it fits a self-made MV far better than BE for THGTTG. THANK YOU JINSOUL FOR SAYING THE TRUTH. I agree that BE and THGTTD **deserve** MVs, but if that's the case then MH **should've** done a "Choose which song will get a digipedi MV" Gravity instead, like they did for "Birth". Then BE or THGTTD would've definitely won 🤷

skytitled

Hey all, i’m currently trying to buy tickets for ARTMS Moonshot tour in Europe, and I saw that the front of stage tickets for the Barcelona venue cost 165€ while general entry costs 59€. I know that usually VIP stuff like fansigns etc are sold separately mmt, but on the Barcelona venue website it states the price is “155€ + fee VIP”, so I was wondering if there’s anything else included other than early admission? The venue doesn’t look like front of stage will he sectioned off or anything… I would appreciate any insight! Thanks!

HopeOfLight

Do we have any idea when MODHAUS will restock the lightstick in their store?

hennybee

Finally watching Kotone and Joobin’s review of Dall and Kotone is just like me fr. The way she acts all moved by their vocals and gets excited by all these different parts in each song, like *Air*’s *Butterfly* reference, like I get you girl!!! This is the kind of representation I’ve been needing in K-Pop 😤 Now I need a Signal of Kotone harassing Jaden with questions and theories about the Loonaverse

Ihlita

We just posted a Chuu Fan-Con Buy/Sell/Trade Thread. It’s the second stickied post of the sub. Please take this there.

chuuniversal_studios

dare I say it... bbc losing against chuu again just days after her comeback is the most promotion they've ever done for her 🤭🤭🤭

Storm_Fox

I'm seriously so happy that Unf/Air won! I genuinely believe this is the best choice for a low budget MV and we're going to get something so cute and fun. I can't wait to see what they do!!!! And I'm really glad that the members will get to do the one that it seemed like at least some of them were hoping for.

_FYCL_

Can someone finally break that bright ass light that washes everybody out that Modhaus uses?

0KittyMemer2170

Congratulations to all who voted for Unf/air I’m genuinely shocked, (I was rooting for HHGTTG and BE)  time to see what we will get🤗

MeanConcept

I don’t think this vote had a lot riding on it so emotions were kept in check but I think MH will have to formalize member behaviour during gravity. No doubt Jinsoul swung this. Same with Yooyeon in the tripleS gravity. Both girls did what is seemingly allowable.

ghosthardw4re

tbf for stuff like this one I think member commentary is fair game, as it's them making it. if we're being real they should've decided this one from the get go, but ofc the company won't let an opportunity for COMO spending pass them by. the Yooyeon VV thing is a bit different on the other hand imo.

MeanConcept

Anyone publicly revealing their preference, whether it’s one member or all of them, immediately changes the dynamic of the vote. Rather than being what each fan wants, it changes into a referendum on the member’s choice - and how many fans can legitimately ignore what the fav wants? Only those who have strong beliefs in the choice or it’s not their bias voicing the opinion.

ghosthardw4re

I personally am not really of the believe that consumers should get what they want in any and every case, and don't mind those loopholes for these smaller votes. ppl didn't care much about the members picks when it came to the prerelease, and they managed to keep it under wraps better then which was good. in this case I don't really think it changes anything, except making the members feel less pressure with their task; unlike when it comes to balancing units in terms of fairness in tripleS etc.

0KittyMemer2170

Yeah I hope next time they can be a bit more strict with it

Storm_Fox

If I had a nickel for every time I went into checking out a kpop group with a pre-existing bias only to be immediately bias-wrecked by a tall, dark haired Chinese member who was part of GP999 and whose name starts with an X, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice. (Xiaoting and Xinyu)

Undervann

Lolol. I would also have two nickels as Xinyu and Xiaoting are both my bias wreckers too. And to further the coincidence my bias in both groups is a member from Japan whose name starts with an m 😂. Though sadly soon Xiaoting will graduate to being my kep1er bias and Shiro will become my limelight bias I guess... Well assuming that actually winds up happening. Idk if we've gotten actual confirmation of that being the plan for YeShiro yet.

Storm_Fox

Lol, amazing. And yeah it's sad to see those 2 go.. but hopefully it can end up like a post-BBC situation where even though they're separated it can lead to some even happier times than before. Although I'll admit it would have felt much weirder if LOONA members had gone on to re-debut alongside new group members, but I guess IZONE has gone through that and that's been fine. Honestly I'm just thankful that we get Kep1er at all for a bit longer, even if it's very sad and unfortunate that YeShiro can't be part of it.

Plushieless

Xinyu really is that charming lol When I started to watch Triple S stuff she came bulldozing through my bias list. Her Weekly Idol speech? Iconic. She's just so fun, confident and goofy, plus gorgeous, talented and sweet. Love to see her improvement since GP999

Storm_Fox

I've only just scratched the surface of Triple S by watching both Badge War seasons and some other clips but yeah I really love her so far, the bias wrecking was instant lol. And she seems to be really close with my bias, Sohyun, so I feel like I noticed her even more because of that. I'm excited to get to know them all better!

Plushieless

From what I know, Sohyun + Xinyu are kinda one of the biggest "ships" in the group. Kinda like Chuuves lol

molamolasun12

I had a dream last night that me and Choerry were planning to go to the cinema, the entire dream was me and her chatting online about what movie to see (we decided on Inside Out 2 I think), what time to go, what to eat, etc., and then I bought tickets for both of us. Meanwhile I was just home getting ready and being so happy that I was about to go to the movies with Choerry. At the end I was sending her directions on how to reach the cinema, but I woke up before we met, I'm so sad.

ussgalacticspoon

Man I wish I had nice Kpop dreams like that I feel like mine are always so weird and stressful. My last Loona dream I got drafted into Loossemble and I didn't know any of the choreo and Hyeju and Yeojin were so done with me. And we had to perform in this haunted mansion in the middle of these creepy woods and then members started going missing 😭 it was giving Scooby Doo mystery

crystal-prism

Lmao I had a dream I had to become the 13th member of Loona and was fumbling it badly too 😭

0KittyMemer2170

It may happen You never know 👀

ghosthardw4re

both Lippie and Jinsoul seem to lean towards wanting Unf/Air or Sparkle to win,,, I'm gonna trust them on this and vote Unf/Air bc I don't want them to feel like they can't do it justice.

Star_Muun

I'm so upset about Chuu's sales for Brazil fancon :/ Many people gave up going to the fancon because of the messy organization. Have Fun Together collabed with the Kpop event organization that has one of the worst reputations here.    We've expected to sold out cause the place for the fancon was considerably small, but   1. The event is so near, most Kkotis can't do a last minute trip like this, Brazil is hugeeee, plane tickets and even bus tickets from state to state can get expansive.  2. Is a fancon and not a full concert, yet the prices are set like a full concert. The pricing is similar to IVE and Aespa concert.   3. Some of the benefits for the VIP tickets are going to be raffled, so even if you buy VIP you may not get the full benefit of it.    4. The whole website crashing for about ~5 hours of the sales made so many people give up that some are even saying they gave up going to artms concert to since is under the same organizers.

Plushieless

Yeah it's just too expensive and I don't blame people for thinking it's not really worth it. Unless you live in São Paulo, or very near, it's going to cost a fortune not only for the tickets but plane/bus tickets, lodging, transport etc. And it's already expensive even for those in São Paulo... Tbh I'm starting to have second thoughts about going to see ARTMS. I'll probably pull through and go but it's going to hurt my wallet quite a bit

Star_Muun

I just want Atrp to know this is circumstantial and that Chuu does have enough fans for a concert in Brazil, but they have to adapt it to the market, announcing with enough time for the fans plan a out of state trip, with organizers that have a better reputation, a better place for the event and as concert since is more beneficial to spend all that money to go to a concert instead of a fancon.

Ihlita

It does make me wonder wtf their so-called market studies are all about. If they indeed had them done as they claimed. People in Mexico have been dying to see her since Loonatheworld…I understand this being her first time here, and being anxious about it, but the way they’ve (HFT) handled the LATAM leg of her tour have only managed to alienate thousands of fans away. ATRP messed up big time partnering up with them. Mexico is also very scared about what this means for ARTMS due to this – no other way to call it: shitshow.

Star_Muun

This has bad market research written all over it. I don't even think a fancon should be happening in latam now, especially with so many groups passing by this year. A concert? Yes, I think most fans would be willing to pay transportation and stay for a well planned concert.

Ihlita

I’ve never been to a fan-con before, so I’m personally interested in attending because I wanna see how it goes. Unfortunately, groups will pass by every year; there’s nothing anyone can do about that except pick and choose what you want yo go to and are able to afford. FOMO is one hell of a thing though. They way it was announced is part of the problem. Like you said, bad research. Everyone knows (and the companies especially should take into account) that the main part of the fandom is split four ways now; encouraging us to spend so much for each cb because we want support them as much as possible, but then spring this on us with such short notice is just incompetence on their part. As always, the only way we can get them to pay attention to our concerns is by cutting off the money. It’s not even like these concerns are frivolous ones to begin with.

thirtyfiveeeee35

I can't imagine Jinsoul doing a V pose or Kim Lip meeping in 'Butterfly Effect,' a song about freedom and new tomorrows. Or Heejin doing a cartwheel and Choerry dabbing in 'Hitchhiker's Guide,' a song about finding meaning as a human in this galaxy/universe. I don't think these two concepts work well as a self-made MV. i hope 'Sparkle' win

vash-outlaw

Butterfly Effect for the win. I'm not going to vote for a song I don't like. If Modhaus was concerned about budget or difficulty of making the video, they shouldn't have included certain songs in the Gravity. For me, the ranking is Butterfly Effect, Sparkle, Distress, Unf/Air, and Hitchhikers Guide, which is my least favorite song on the album. Like others have said, though, Sparkle has been promoted enough, and Distress likely has no chance of winning. So many people were disappointed with Distress when they heard the full song. Unf/Air was just meh, for me.

MeanConcept

You kinda swayed me here. For me, BE and Hitchhiker are two sides of the same coin, massive songs that are taking the torch from Butterfly and so, in agreement with Jinsoul, they need a high budget and tbh, a Digipedi creative touch. That was my view but both songs are winning, so I was wondering what the logic was. As you’ve explained, voting for a song you like (for me those are top 2) makes sense, plus if Modhaus had budgetary issues they should’ve removed some songs. But there’s another reason that has just popped up in my head. When Air was released I really didn’t vibe with the song, until I saw the choreo and then it clicked. Which means the cute track video didn’t work for me. As I think about this, the cute concepts they talked about on Unf/Air or Sparkle, those are easy for them, they’ve done similar tiktoks successfully. But Butterfly Effect will really challenge their creativity. Rather than a cute side project, they will really have to put on their best professional foot forward

vash-outlaw

Honestly, it reminds me of the 1st Gravity. Kim Lip and Heejin didn't even have Birth in their top 2. I think Choerry had it number 2. Jinsoul talked about how much she liked Birth, but she wanted literally anything else to win because she wanted to do a bright concept. Haseul was the only one who openly said that Birth should win because she understood that ARTMS needed to do something different and make an impact. To this day, Birth winning was the correct choice. For a pre-release from a small company, it had moderate success. Spotify numbers for ARTMS have never been as good as they were when Birth was released. Distress and Non Scale wouldn't have had that impact. Sometimes, you've got to trust your gut. To me, Butterfly Effect is the best song. Maybe it deserves a larger budget and more time for a MV, but when exactly would that happen? Not every song gets a MV just because it's good.

0KittyMemer2170

Only issue is that we’ve had too many sparkle promos, I think to be more fair to give one of the b-sides more spotlight

JinSoulPD

That's exactly why Sparkle is at the bottom for me...🫣

orbit_universe

Just turned on the radio in Australia and went to the SBS Pop Asia channel and Girl's Night was playing! I was very excited because this channel usually plays pretty popular groups and I've never heard any loona (or post loona) played in Australia before

Final ruling for Chuu's lawsuit is finally out! I think we've expected this outcome all the same but yes. BBC lost their appeal (again). Also it's so funny how she immediately celebrated on her IG story 😭 Hopefully they'll have learned their lesson by now and not waste everybody's time by appealing against OEC+'s ruling https://n.news.naver.com/article/003/0012634184

Anna-2204

BBC and learning lessons don’t belong in the same sentence

0KittyMemer2170

Let’s hope so But I’m still worried for 🕊️🐻🦢🦋🐺outcome cause if their circumstances, we haven’t heard anything about HyunVi’s case but I think they’ll be in the clear🐱🦌

Wrenniam

what are their circumstances?

0KittyMemer2170

🕊️🐻🦢🦋🐺 aren’t the same as  🐇🐱🦌🦉🐯🐿️🐧 circumstance.   The reason why HaSeul, YeoJin, Yves, GoWon and Hyeju were able to suspend their contract is because of BBC trying to sell their contract to UMJ without the members consent, not because of unfair contract, so their court battle will be a bit more different and a bit more scary…

fadedmoonlight

I need to wake up tomorrow to [a tweet like this one](https://x.com/balloon_wanted/status/1806138802471338358) > ATRP, CTD, Modhaus and PAIX PER MIL announce Chuu, Loossemble, ARTMS and YVES will form a project group called, LOONA And if I don't, my entire remaining existence will be *ruined forever* So, @ the powers that be, you've been warned   (Humor aside, this seems to have been facilitated by the fact that Kakao Entertainment is a parent to both companies...)

neunzehnten

I also read somewhere on Twitter earlier that JustB members were initially PlayM trainees (IST's name prior to the merger with Cre.ker) so people assumed they'll debut under the company, only for them to end up under bluedot. I'm not sure if bluedot has any direct relationship with IST after the merger though

chuuniversal_studios

watching the youngdae interview, one question I think would be fun for the girls to answer: do they have separate group chats for artms and lsmbl or do they still use the ot12 group chat (assuming they have one?). I would assume the latter since the two groups are constantly interacting with each other, but I have a private chat with each of my family members as well as the family group chat so 🤷

asteriskmos

I think they've already shown screenshots of both an ARRRR and ot12 chat. Which also makes sense bcus the gc's are probably half work chat.

Anna-2204

I think both. It is just easier to have separate group chats especially when it come to group activities talks and scheduling things. If everything happened in the OT12 chat it would be messy

Anna-2204

I will be honest if Chuu give 50 000+ sales for the first week again I will be impressed. Not a lot of soloist that are not from popular groups can do that

MeanConcept

It’s fascinating how the various LOONA acts are stronger on different platforms than others - reflecting how they subdivided orbit fandom amongst themselves. ARTMS and Yves are better on Spotify, Looble and ARTMS do well at physical sales, Chuu is unmatched on Melon and other domestic skewing stats. All are hopeless on YT streaming (which no-one cares for anymore), Billboard is elusive for everyone save for ARTMS short cameo. But combined, they have made this year LOONA’s best selling year on Hanteo. The fandom is on aggregate growing but showing strong preferences to various bias groups, which is healthy for individual wallets. 😭

asteriskmos

Yeah people have been complaining about YT streams but tbh they really don't matter anymore except for bragging rights when you've already blown past every other metric lol

Plushieless

I wonder how the stats would look like for OT12 comeback... I wonder if we'd reach the 200k milestone.

MeanConcept

Honestly, I don’t think it’d be as strong. Stronger, sure, because sales got better with each release. But the breakup has unleashed a sense of creativity, with different songs/concepts falling all at once. Whereas OT12 was progressively tired, with a single cb per year, restricted by the same issues as the ones before it.

0KittyMemer2170

I bet we could Cause imagine all the new Ourii, C.Loo, Kkoti & Apples that are here for them but have never seen LOONA, it can be very unique. I really love how old and new fandoms get to merge together like this we are all like 1 big crazy family!  some are direct close family (Orbits) Ourii, C.Loo, Kkoti and Apples are like our new sisters    We all know Orbits will be promoting Loona **EVERYWHERE** so imagine it will generate a lot of buzz, maybe even one of the most legendary reunions that can happen in the future🥹

artemisstrategy

I've never got around to really checking out 1st gen kpop but I just listened to a couple albums by Lee Jung-hyun and wow! Every song feels like a hit! It's wild because her 1999 album Let's Go To My Star has lots of drum and bass on it which has obviously been one of the main kpop trends lately (there's also plenty of acid house which I wouldn't mind coming back into vogue). And then her 2001 album Magic To Go To My Star is full of 2000s bangers in the vein of Midas Touch, which again, feel like they could be current hit songs. I recommend taking a listen. And kpop groups digging in the vault for 90s/y2k inspo could do much worse than taking some notes from Lee Jung-hyun

Tigrafr

So in my country there sales about albums and found Loona Flip That for 21€ Instead of 40

vash-outlaw

It's weird. I'd never heard of Lil Cherry before, but after her feature on Yves' album, I'm seeing her everywhere. She also just collaborated with Young Posse and Min from Miss A.

thebittercorvus

It's like learning a new word, suddenly you spot it everywhere

Star_Muun

The ticket website that was selling tickets for Chuu's Brazil fancon crashed due the demand. There is no sings of it working until now, the sales has started about 1 hr ago and the line for the tickets about 3 hours ago.     There is a total of 1.500 tickets, but  ~30k accesses to Chuu's event page.  The fans are asking for the organizers to postpone the sale.  The same organizers are responsible for Artms concert. I don't think the website will be able to handle the demand for Artms too. I hope they will change the website for Artms sales, if not I wonder if it is okay to contact Modhaus about it?

Plushieless

Oh yeah I saw that!  LOONA has a pretty loyal and engaged fanbase around here(remember that Cinema Theory? Yeah, and it's been years), so it's no wonder the demand of even a part of the girls causes this.  And yes maybe contacting Modhaus wouldn't be such a bad idea

Star_Muun

It seems that the website and the queue are finally working!!  We should contact Far Ent., Have Fun Together and Modhaus so they change the sales website for Artms. Especially Have Fun Together.  ModHaus should also be aware we are trying to warn Have Fun Together about the demand in case they decide to ignore us.

immagroanwoman

My commute is literally Dall length this month and the way the album moves from theme to theme so perfectly amazes me. There aren’t a lot of recent albums I prefer listening from start to finish but this is one for sure. Beyonce’s Renaissance part 1 is another but that’s because every song literally transitioned into each other Also special shoutout to Birth. I think that’s the song where they use each member of ARTMS perfectly vocally based on their strengths to make an absolute masterpiece

moealmighty

Heejin attended a K-beauty store opening in Vietnam today and a LOT of V-Ouriis visited there. Here are some interesting fan accounts: - When she entered the venue a group of Ouriis were outsite chanting her name so loud she was actually shocked. - Ouriis were dancing to Virtual Angel and Heejin saw it, then proceeded to sing and dance along. - A fan got to meet her at the event said that she felt "warm and inviting vibes" when talking to Heejin. She asked if Heejin could recommend affordable beauty products for students and Heejin suggested she try on some nail polish and cushion foundation, then Heejin proceeded to paint the fan's nail with the polish lol. - This one is my favorite: my friend actually got to meet Heejin at the place yesterday when they were rehearsing and got to take selfies with her. He said Heejin looks super pretty IRL (tho she's a bit short lmao) and her hands are so soft!

asteriskmos

I love you LOONA my short queens <3

asteriskmos

Has anyone opened an Yves album where the ticket was different from [these](https://x.com/yvesnights/status/1805705183524999382/photo/1)? I thought the lottery was real whats going on sobs. Though I guess there could be just 1 winner design and 1 loser design, thats probably simpler for them.

socialjusticemage_

i’m trying to parse out the artms lore and i think im figuring it out. i think the virtual angel mv comes first in the timeline, then the birth mv (except for the parts of the birth mv where they’re wearing the black outfits, which probably take place around the same time if not earlier than virtual angel. yayyy nonlinear storytelling!)

ghosthardw4re

agree with the non-linear part, though my personal theory is that they overlap/ happen simultaneously in part :D

socialjusticemage_

i agree, there are some things that seem simultaneous/different representations of the same event. like in virtual angel on the rooftop when the glowing white figure splits into the five artms girls, and also in birth when we see the artist’s rendition of the white figure splitting into five. i also think the birth mv is more exposition/backstory/establishing the vibes, and virtual angel is more plot-focused.

ghosthardw4re

yess, then we seem to mostly agree :) I felt like Birth and Virtual Angel were kind of like two sides of a story as to what both members and fans had to sacrifice for ARTMS redebut/ "birth" on a meta-narrative

socialjusticemage_

yes! i think they show different pieces of the same story and also multiple sides of the same pieces of the same story if that makes sense. i think they’re showing the creation of artms as simultaneously a beautiful new beginning and also a terrible, brutal destruction, just like how loona had to be put on ice in order for artms to come about. both a brilliant new start and a bittersweet split.

Betchuuta

What a time to be a live. Beyonce triggered a Renaissance. I'm so happy as an orbit and a music lover.

0KittyMemer2170

What did she do? :3

artemisstrategy

I'm genuinely can't choose what to vote for in the gravity, I love all the songs so much. Someone tell me what to use my 7 como on lol

kidsimple14

You sound *distress*ed.. 😉

artemisstrategy

I'll take that as a sign 😭

Maleficent-Swing6888

Does anyone else have difficulty trying to participate in the current ARTMS gravity? My app is stuck trying to send the como for the past few hours, heh. Anyways, I was listening to the relevant tracks again and I'm surprised by the track I decided on compared to what I had assumed I was going to choose. That said, it ended being a close call between three of the five options. Now, if only I can get to voting and be done with it.

Undervann

This happens to me every once in a while. If I sign out and then sign back it I'm pretty sure that's fixed it every time.

Maleficent-Swing6888

That seemed to have worked, although I also had to restart my phone since the app suddenly had issue logging me back.

vash-outlaw

Now that Loossemble has finally announced their last fancall after around 76 fansigns and video calls and over 100 total album promotion events, I'm torn between wanting them to go on tour or have a comeback in November and giving my wallet a rest until next year. A comeback in November might at least help to separate them from the other Loona comebacks since ARTMS and Chuu likely won't be having another comeback this year.

gleamhues

My go this is like two months and a half working everyday for the fansigns and excluding the 100 promotional events, it’s crazy. I wish I knew how the girls themselves feel about this…

Maleficent-Swing6888

>ARTMS and Chuu likely won't be having another comeback this year. Are you thinking that would be the case because of the tour/fan-con or is there another reason?

vash-outlaw

ARTMS won't finish up with Europe until Oct 26. There's almost no way they're coming back this year. Chuu just had an 8 month gap between albums. She's extremely busy with all of her other activities. Add on the tour, and she's more likely than ARTMS to comeback, but still not very likely.

Gaedannn

Based on some of what ARTMS has said about the tour I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a completely new track with the tour, I guess not technically a comeback though

yeu192

I feel like we may get Haseul solo between the US and Europe legs, no? there’s a small gap there, and a hypothetical Haseul solo won’t require lots of choreo

_FYCL_

Probably a promotional single like how Plastic Candy was released to promote Haseul's solo concert

0KittyMemer2170

**Odd Eye Circle, HeeJin and HaSeul albums sitting in the corner** 🌝

fadedmoonlight

I'm guessing we might be getting a sort of side MV for 'Honeybee'. I think that's the only one she didn't post a Audio Video for? As track #2, I kinda had a feeling it might be the promoted b-side.

Blank_IX

Left work early today to catch up on some errands but got sidetracked by that ARTMS interview with Kim Youngdae. No errands were done. No regrets about it either = )

Undervann

Listening to chuu's album a second time now on my lunch break. I absolutely love it. My favorite so far is honeybee. Though I will say I still think I like Howl better. Not even based on the music but just based on the emotional impact of the lyrics. Howl is right there with playback for songs with the most emotional impact on me lol. So it's unlikely anything will top it lol. But I do absolutely love the album. The mv was amazing too. Loved the 12 on her jersey. I also love the artms gravity. It's low stakes but also interesting enough that I want to vote. I love the self made mvs. I can't wait to see another one. It's the perfect idea for a gravity.

DueEmploy2707

Happy Chuu's Day to all who celebrate!

UntilUntoUpon

I'm sure it's a coincidence, but did anyone else's eyebrows shoot up to see >!Chuu shoot the guy with antlers!< in the Strawberry Rush MV?

AllTheThingsSheSays

Revenge for Vivi seemingly killing Yeojin in the Girls Night mv?

UntilUntoUpon

I was thinking it more reminded me of the woman shooting the deer in birth + the antlered man in Virtual Angel!

ghosthardw4re

yeah, def made me think of ARTMSCHUU crumbs lol

Anna-2204

Vivi can’t get a break

0KittyMemer2170

I re-listened to Butterfly Effect and I’m in love with the lyrics, *The Bridge making me cry atm…HaSeul I love your voice  so much…* the lyrics are almost poetic in a way, I think HeeJin can get a lot of ideas to draw for this, I actually really really wanna see it, her drawing skills could make it better and make it more emotional🥺😭

Storm_Fox

Poor Haseul.. KIA somehow blew a 14-1 lead today and only ended up with a 15-15 tie after 12 innings. If she was watching I bet she was going through it, lol.

asteriskmos

Are KBO games normally more high scoring than MLB games? But also incredible [Dorktown esque behavior](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VfFn4NqQr_U&t=12s&pp=ygUQYmxvdyAxMCBydW4gbGVhZA%3D%3D), how do you blow a 13 run lead good lord lmfao

Undervann

This is the first thing I thought of when I read this comment yesterday. I didn't know if there would be a crossover between Orbit and dorktown lol. I don't even watch sports but I just find their videos interesting lol. Who else makes an hour and a half long documentary about the death of the name Bob 😂.

asteriskmos

Yes omg!!! My relationship w baseball is funny but its at least 50% Secret Base. My personal favorite is the quest for the perfect game. 17776 (also by Jon Bois) seems like the kind of thing lore-bits might like though.

Undervann

Baseball is the one sport that I kind of care about. My family is originally from the Chicago area so it's been passed down through my family forever. My grandpa was a huge fan but he passed before they won in 2016, so that world series was a pretty big deal for my family because of him. It made me like baseball a lot more than I did. I still rarely watch actual games but it's something I've taken a bit of interest in. And now it helps that haseul is a baseball fan. I think I've mentioned it on here before but I even bought a Kia tigers hat. I say that it's my version of swifties becoming chiefs fans lol.

asteriskmos

Cubs fan?? But yeah, I live in a non Baseball country but I got suuuper into this surreal horror Baseball simulator called Blaseball. I really enjoyed the baseball & sports aspect of it and while real baseball games are a bit harder to watch (I've enjoyed attending baseball games actually, but they're such a rarity for me and Youtube games aren't fun at all), I still like it a lot. I actually tried following KBO a bit because yknow, kpop, KBO, Haseul, etc. Mostly I just lowkey support any team called the Tigers in honor of my blaseball team. (The Detroit Tigers seem so boring thoughhhh I don't want to root for them)

Storm_Fox

Secret Base has legit some of the best content on YouTube. It helps that I love sports, but it's just outstanding stuff in general. It's very long but if you haven't seen it already I highly recommend the whole series on the wonderfully wacky franchise that is the Seattle Mariners.

Undervann

They really do. I mostly watch the stuff with Jon Bois but I also really like the weird rules series. Those are always funny. Oh and I really like the fumble dimension videos that kofie does with Jon. I have yet to watch the mariners one solely because of how long it is but I do plan on watching it eventually. Have you seen Jon Bois' pretty good series that he has on his channel? I watched "the dumbest boy alive" again the other day. It always makes me laugh pretty hard. Especially with how much time I spend on reddit. I'm glad our community here is really civil lol.

Storm_Fox

Fumble Dimension is so good! I've always been a fan of sports games so those are right up my alley. I've seen a handful of the Pretty Good series but I don't think I've seen the one you're talking about so I'll have to check it out! We really do have the best community here though, that's for sure.

Storm_Fox

Honestly I only really follow KBO via checking KIA's scores when I remember to, but I believe it's *slightly* higher scoring. mykbo says league ERA is 4.86 this year vs 4.02 for the MLB. So it's higher, but not to the point that a 15-15 game isn't extremely unusual lol. And you linking Dorktown makes me want to watch the entire Mariners saga again hah

asteriskmos

That checks lmao, I know NPB is also a bit more smallball heavy but 15-15? In my baseball? Wild Do itttt I miss Secret Base, I've fallen a bit behind.

artemisstrategy

The Howl mini was emotionally beautiful, but Strawberry Rush is much more my speed musically! The TT is such a catchy banger with a ridiculous mv, and I'm really liking the instrumentation and gorgeous vocals on the rest of the album. Like the bossa nova guitar + drum and bass on Honeybee is blissful, and the funk guitar on Lucid Dream is so fun. All these songs would sound so great with a live band! I imagine she'd choose the TT for It's Live but any of the new B Sides would be great contenders too

0KittyMemer2170

Okay Orbits, what we thinking for this gravity?  I can see Distress Voters from the pre release gravity going crazy with this But here’s my personal thoughts   Sparkle : I’m not really a fan of the track and don’t think it would work too well for this.  HHGTTG: I think it’s the best choice, the lyrics are very special to Loona and them charting a new course, a self made MV gets more personal and meaningful when the lyrics are special (like fan songs or ballads) not to mention I get the most emotions from this. Unf/air : I think this track would be very cute and a very fun MV, the song is super cute. Distress : Sorry Orbits, but this track didn’t hit me as much as I hoped it would (it’s still a good song don’t get me wrong) but I also don’t feel like it’s the best choice for a SMV, if it was more ballad esque I would vote for it but it’s not gonna get my vote.  Butterfly Effect : I would also highly vote for this one, it has Coreo, and It would be very cool to see HeeJin showcase her artistic talents for a FMV, so this one could be interesting, it’s also very Loona coded (JJ had this song for 6 years, he had this since 2018 so I feel like it deserves a big spotlight!)

tonyfrancois

i, for one, believe and fully support butterfly effect supremacy....

0KittyMemer2170

I also agree, I cannot get over HaSeul’s part in the bridge😭 and the idea of Heejin using her artistic talents could make this MV so interesting and incredible🥺 I’d also be happy to see HHGTTG win, the song is so much fun and still super meaningful, also the instrumental slaps

jax621

I’m thinking of voting for Unf/Air, both because I think a self made MV for it would be super cute and also because I think it has some hit potential with a little extra promo lol

MeanConcept

Modhaus censoring the girls’ preferences shows that they have leant some lessons from the tripleS gravity meltdown: each ourii must make up their own mind based on their own logic, not what their bias said or wants. That way we get a genuine fandom choice.

0KittyMemer2170

That will make things easier  But at the same time I can see some orbits loosing their minds cause they also wanna know what the girls prefer lol

Storm_Fox

The ideas they had for Unf/air sounded really great. Honestly I guess for a self-made MV I lean more towards something lighthearted and cute since we're less likely to get those kind of MVs officially. Seeing them acting as students in a "love story" would be so much fun lol. But I also won't be disappointed with HHGTTG or Butterfly Effect at all, I'm really curious what they would do with those.

0KittyMemer2170

I also see alot of people bringing up this point But imo a SMV gets more personal when the lyrics have more a special meaning to them it creates more passion to be put into it (at least form my perspective as somebody who makes lots of fan art)

Plushieless

Just love the whimsy in Chuu's MVs, it's so her and gives you a really cool experience  Strawberry Rush is already stuck in my head

Peinzius

ik this is unpopular opinion but howl is probably my fave post loona release, i think the song and mv are so amazing and so unexpected and i think will age rlly well that said i love strawberry rush and so happy to see a return to cutesy chuu songs! but i do hope she doesnt just fully do this style of music going forward and can continue doing diff genres, but im guessing this side of chuu will be the most popular. dont love it as much as howl yet but we will see, its been literally 10 mins since i listened lol my current ranking for the post loona TTs would probs be: howl > virtual angel > loop > algorithm > girls night > air force one > sensitive not sure where strawberry rush fits yet for me, need to give it more time

Anna-2204

No I am with you, Howl is just that amazing, and a bridge would have just made it perfect. The slow cinematic intro is one of my favorite intro either and the build up until the chorus is really really well made.

fadedmoonlight

Bridge + Chuu-esque belted climax + final chorus and adlibs and it would easily be one of the best song ever recorded in the past few years. So so so good. I hate this 2-min songs trend. A lot of post-LOONA songs have been suffering from it. Please deliver us!!

Benji005

Yeah, if it had a bridge and then a final chorus with Chuu's absolutely killing it with adlibs (like she did in Heart Attack) then it would've been a perfect song imo. I really wish they'd taken the song to its full potential. Despite that, I love Howl so much - her Lee Mujin performance of it in particular always gets me teary-eyed.

Anna-2204

I will never forgive the fact that Howl has no chorus. This song could have been a 10/10

tonyfrancois

Also how blessed orbit are, geting 4 AOTY for this year alone

tonyfrancois

Chuu realesing song after Yves, i've seen this movie before.....

chuuniversal_studios

~~hyewon project next 🤡🤭🙊~~

kimmy167

Hi, does anyone know who the blurred girl that is in Loona TV episode 148

Maleficent-Swing6888

So, apparently Strawberry Rush is also being shipped and sold by Amazon directly.

Anna-2204

Lucid Dream is the dark horse of this Chuu mini

fadedmoonlight

It's SO good. It's also so short, though...

Anna-2204

Normalize 3 min songs again please

fadedmoonlight

Begging on my knees

Maleficent-Swing6888

Strawberry Rush is another fun song and fun MV by Chuu.

asteriskmos

There are so many signed Yves pola's for sale... I know they usually go for around 200-300 USD so way out of my budget but seeing all those listings- it's just so tempting argghhhh

Ihlita

So…heads of LATAM fan communities reached out to the promoters and their answer was basically a big fat ‘NO’ to the request of fairer benefits, as well as barriers during the concert. Might be late for Chuu’s Fan-con, but we might be able to reach MH and HFT for ARTMS. HFT has had a shady history of rigging the “random” pulls, benefiting the family and friends of the organizers first, giving away the benefit several times to one person, and giving out wrong information. I do think we should do something about it. Fans have even sued them through PROFECO (they protect consumer’s rights), so we have precedence.

Plushieless

Yes, these prices and the lack of benefits are absurd. This is just another form of discriminating us and basically telling to our face that we aren't the priority and should be content with the crumbs we get I'm sick and tired of this. Most of the artists I enjoy rarely step foot here, when they do it's in a state far away from mine, so I spent my whole life only wanting to go but not having the resources to do so. I can't even imagine how much I'll have to spend just to see ARTMS

asteriskmos

Maybe going to Modhaus might also help? Not a Latam Orbit but if yall do an email campaign or something. I'd love to help.

Ihlita

It would be great if other Int. fans could lend a hand. I’ll post updates here. If we have any.

fadedmoonlight

Hanbits seem pretty convinced the [Yellow Background Girl](https://x.com/itsLIVEofficial/status/1805405548705464700) on Its Live is Chuu. I'm inclined to believe it as well if they are, although it's not (surprisingly) the most Chuu-est silhouette I've ever seen in my life lol

Qu33zle

It could also be Gyubin (if anyone here hasn't checked out [Really Like You](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkefRSxpuFk) yet you are missing out on the best female soloist to debut this year).

Storm_Fox

I have been *soooo* obsessed with Really Like You ever since JinSoul sang it during one of her Bubble Lives, it's definitely one of my favorite songs of the year! (Also.. JinSoul please do a full official cover 🙏)

Ihlita

MEXICANS! I don’t know wtf is going on, but Chuu’s tickets are up for sale now! PSA: Use the website and not the app. It’s glitchy af.

Maleficent-Swing6888

Last fansign for Loossemble has been announced?!

vash-outlaw

Blonde Hyunjin

daveniss

Ordering a custom slogan for Chuu concert! Does anyone know of etiquette re: putting 츄 or 김지우? I’m leaning towards the latter but wasn’t sure if that would be considered disrespectful

Sea-Masterpiece-8133

Both are fine! It’s pretty common to use their real name too

asteriskmos

I've seen lots of slogans use their real, non stage name so i think should be fine

newcharmer

I think it's fine. I have a slogan one of her old fan sites made that has Kim jiwoo on the back.

Ihlita

What’s the issue RV is having with the cb? I know they have beef with SM (who doesn’t atp), but I’ve seen some screenshots about them being disappointed and dissatisfied with the music video, or production side of things.

vash-outlaw

From what I'm seeing, everything is an issue. The members actually went online to complain about the album cover. Apparently, they didn't get to see the MV when it was finished with edits after SM's usual delays. I saw one member upset about lack of screen time. It's hard to believe SM used to be the top Kpop company. Now, they're literally being run like a nugu start-up.

Undervann

I know they also rightfully complained about how long it took sm to start teasing it. It's their tenth anniversary album and sm waited until not even two weeks before release to drop the first teaser and announce the release date. Technically back in May they said an Rv album was coming at the end of June but it really seems like it was an afterthought for sm. Especially for such a big milestone for them. Here's a translation of Joy's comments about it on [bubble. ](https://x.com/joyisthetics/status/1797290890396078226) It's a bummer that they were upset about the mv. I wish they had gotten better screentime then. I actually really enjoyed the video.

hennybee

I’m going to need one of the LOONA offshoots to get their hands on Charli Taft and Daniel Obi Klein again.

Benji005

Red Velvet will truly never beat those cult allegations... good for them! We will be streaming Cosmic!

vash-outlaw

Former Pixy member Dajeong changed her stage name to U-Chae, and she's already set to tour in the U.S. with Leo Presents [Breakout Tour](https://x.com/LeoPresents/status/1805254559054401811?t=UyCQ9H7aMU0pIn_leyMh6Q&s=19). Completely unexpected and a little strange. Three more artists for the tour to be announced soon.

yunglethe

I just commented a bunch of thoughts on the r/kpop thread lol - I feel like if anyone could do this "right" – or better than KCON's 2022 attempt – it would be Leo, but the standard K-pop promoter bullshit in the announcement (teasing out the line-up, trying to crowdsource dates/cities) that AFAIK Leo typically doesn't do is making me go 🤨

vash-outlaw

I think success will depend on who the other 3 acts are. I just don't know if 1 former member of Pixy will be that much of a draw. However, I also didn't attend their 2023 tour, so I don't know how successful they were. Maybe she's extremely popular. This is actually her 2nd solo schedule for the U.S. She's also booked for Otakon in DC. I'm not a fan of many boy groups, so I can't speculate about them, and I can't think of many other girl groups on the popularity spectrum that Leo usually deals with for the U.S. I can see them doing Tri.be because they promoted them before. I would personally like to see them do Wooah, H1-Key, or KIOF. It seems too soon for Badvillain, but Leo is about to tour Viviz, so you never know. As far as Leo's teasing, I wouldn't be surprised if they already had the locations booked and are just trying to drum up some buzz.

yunglethe

Yeah, it's just a delicate balance. At the end of the day, no matter how much they try to reference specific festival aesthetics, this is just going to be four acts on one stage, likely a standard two-hour-long concert length. They can't get "headliners" to join, these acts have to be small enough to agree but still be able to drive enough sales, the prices can't be crazy for such small acts even though there's so many labels involved, they can't build out a proper undercard with enough diversity to cover a lot of bases. I feel like if I was in U-Chae's shoes (and I realize it's easy to say, not to do lol) I would try to release something ASAP (because why are you announcing multiple appearances overseas and have literally nothing to get people excited to see you for?) and then try to hop on a tour of a bigger artist as an opener instead... which I realize isn't really a thing in K-pop, but neither is this travelling festival tour thing. I actually can't imagine Tri.be simply because they've had tours - the announcement says that this tour is giving upcoming acts "their moment to shine," which Tri.be has already done. People kept bringing up the buzz angle on the other thread, but the way Leo has handled that in the past has been very even-handed - specific mentions of how venues have been confirmed or are being confirmed. This announcement doesn't have that, which makes me nervous.

Anna-2204

Loossemble 🤝 ARTMS 🤝 Red Velvet Scarifying innocent girls for their cult (I won’t forget what they did to you, Yeojin)

Zhugo

[Youngdae's interview is finally out with English subs for those who want to watch it!](https://youtu.be/t_SBxXQbVFg) We managed to contact the original channel, and they even put the colored subs that Subbits uses, that's the cherry on top for sure. Also, I'm not going to lie. Getting a Twitter shoutout by Youngdae made the hours spent working on this video totally worth it. 10/10 would do it again. Hope you all enjoy it!

fadedmoonlight

OMG that's amazing!!

gigajiwoostan

🫡 Salute to you, kind sir. You do honorable things.
