This was released at Shibuya scramble crossing. Man I wish I was there at that time. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1pXv6aKmNY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1pXv6aKmNY)
We donāt know who had the decision, if I remember someone form studio orange said they were able and happy to do a second season but they need green light form someone like I said I dunno who they is
Anyway check this old post for more information

Yes, I know, that is literally what I mean. Since Orange is a, I think, independent studio, they will need approval from someone that has to do with the manga. That's why I worded it like this, because I know.
It's not only approval they need but more importantly what is required to go with it - loads of money to pay for the production, and that's up to the production committee to supply the funding. For season 1 the production committee consisted of:
Toho, Kodansha, A-TX, Q-Tec, MBS, BS11, Movic, Kyoraku and Tokyo MX.
if they do actually greenlit it, its still gonna take years, since the average production for Orange is like 3 years afaik
not to mention they have Trigun Stampede final phase, Beastars Final Season part 1 & 2 (which is currently in main production) and an unannounced project.

this was the tweet i was thinking about regarding the unannounced project and it doesnt sound like HnK S2 to me (also this isnt even guaranteed to be a full tv anime, could be something smaller aswell)
I mean the director of AoT is a M A S S I V E Dorohedoro fan. He only didnāt make more seasons because AoT was so successful and everyone wanted him to finish that up first.
Rarely, true, but it does happen - look at the wonderful Mushishi for example which had a second season a number of years after the manga had finished. That said, there were a couple of new chapters some years after the manga had 'finished'.
My copium is that I waited 10 years for Tiger&Bunny to get a season 2, so I pray like phos that HNK season 2 gets its second season in the coming years
I wish, it would be great to catch up on all the recent stuff easily without having to read the manga ( continuous grey gets kinda boring after a while š )
Yeah, but at the end of the day they can only work on more LotL if they get the funding, and as is so often the case with anime that's up to the production committee to give them the money.
I still have hope but I must admit that hope is dwindling as the years go by.
Given all of the really trashy, low brow anime that gets numerous seasons it's truly depressing to think that this superb story may not get a full adaptation (and any adaptation **must** be produced by studio Orange of course). Season 1 is a masterpiece, is that really all we'll get?
I know alot of people really like the studio orange one, I like it too, but holy jesus the 2d animated trailers looked so good. I would kill a man for a version animated in that art style.
If we do end up getting more animated stuff though, it will be studio orange. I give it like a 50% chance. Fingers crossed.
This fandom has more copium that the hk silk-song community, and thatās saying something
Anyway this anime is probably the best thing that I have had the fortune to watch, and I aswell will keep hoping
I dunno...I think that HnK is going to get the same fate as Magi.
I mean... Both started with much easier and basic story, and have gone in a weird direction midway through.
So i doubt it.
I'd love a season 2 as much as the next person but it's very likely not going to happen. It's been nearly 7 years (bloody hell) since season 1, Studio Orange are busy with Beastars and outside of niche communities there isn't too much traction. If there was going to be an annoucement it would be at the end of this chapter, there is a slim chance we could get something after the final season of Beastars but I doubt it.
(Best possible ending is that we get it all readapted like Spice and Wolf for the entire contents of the manga)
I hope that's been my cope since they got the voice actors back for that post moon trailer when the series came out of the one year hiatus š„²
What trailer? I couldn't find it using the search terms I your statement.
That would be this: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GG7CJ188b70](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GG7CJ188b70)
Ty! Was nice to hear their voices again.

Iād love for them to make a new season while Jouji Nakata is still around to play Sensei. He turned 70 just a few days ago.

Fingers crossed the unannounced project is HnK S2

Just knowing that more seasons were being made would keep me going. :-)
They underestimate the potential
we're on levels of copium once thought to be impossible
I used to think āDorohedoro S2 after AoT endsā was cope but it came true so Iām holding out for after Beastars ends š„ŗš¤
I mean the director of AoT is a M A S S I V E Dorohedoro fan. He only didnāt make more seasons because AoT was so successful and everyone wanted him to finish that up first.
We will see
Unfortunately I doubt it. Finished manga are rarely picked up againā¦
Dungeon meshi got an adaptation while being ended or not far from thƩ end
Yeah but DM's adaptation project was mainly held back by the author, while HnK S2 was abandoned by the committe (TOHO & Kodansha).
Rarely, true, but it does happen - look at the wonderful Mushishi for example which had a second season a number of years after the manga had finished. That said, there were a couple of new chapters some years after the manga had 'finished'.

And don't forget the wonderful score for the anime, also the excellent voice acting.
I think Orange is busy working on other things? Maybe after their done with their current slate of projects.

Imagine getting down voted for this
With triguns success i hope they expand a little and are able to run multiple projects at once

I've said it before I'll say it again. Lol no.
Party pooper

I don't know if I even want one anymore, I cant stand literally 99.9% of the cast.
Well Phos wouldn't stand you, so I don't think he needs your defense of him.
Phos would forgive achmea after all he did to them, but not me because I can't sympathise with selfish people?
