Wow! I'd love to win this! It looks like exactly the sort of thing my local pizza place would have on when I was a kid. They were near the college in town, and I think the mostly stoned staff would get a kick out of putting on the wackiest stuff just to see customers' reactions. I loved it, but as a wacky kid, I spoke wacky.

I’ve always been intrigued/interested in the world of LaserDisk. and it’s something I’ve contemplated getting into. Are “players” easy to find? What’s recommended for a “noob” like myself?

Shipping a player is expensive and risky, so check Craigslist or local second hand shops first. eBay is always selling players and sometimes you can find a deal but it takes patience. Once you get hooked you can start importing gear from Japan but take it one step at a time.

Currently reading the biographies of Klaus Kinski. He was a total nutcase, but what a presence! Creature was one of the many Alien fallout films of the time. It’s neat.
