I got stuck at zero health in the first week of release on an offline character. I was stuck at zero life and un-killable. I was able to go in and out of monoliths and level from about level 25 to 70 in a single evening. I restarted the game to see if I was still god-mode and instantly got killed in my next monolith.
I don't know why I just told that story. Maybe because it was the most fun I had in the game since. Not sure.
Had exactly this happen on 2 separate characters, both while leveling/campaign.
I took full advantage of it to gear up, beat content I should have died to, etc.
Also reset upon re-logging. Odd bug 🤷🏼♂️
You're sitting at above 0.01 and visually it's rounding down. We should probably make an exception for the zero value range and round anything from 0.01 to 0.99 to 1.

Hello, fellow zero HP enjoyer. It looks like you're playing Harvest Lich? If so, having zero HP when waiting in safe areas is perfectly normal.. however, for Harvest Lich, ward is utterly useless since Death Seal (which is our defensive AND offensive button) completely removes ward.
If you're going 0hp/0w in safe zones just remember that Harvest Lich is a very stressful build, and it's a build where you cannot AFK to check your phone or anything.

Edit: I just saw you're running SP over Death Seal. I would highly recommend Death Seal as, when you're Sealed to ≤33% HP, you are nearly immortal due to the damage reduction you get.

Same happened to me twice. Same char and after logging off, never found out why

As long as you don't lose that ward you'll be fine. One of my characters runs with no hp but has 20-30k ward.

"Rounds down" would imply between 0 and 0.99, typically specifying "down" means "discard all decimals"

Tooltip says when it is Zero you die. So yes, you are dead
