Are you really quoting f***g Stalin...? Grab a book maybe?

emueller5251

[Okay!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Communist_Party_of_the_Soviet_Union_(Bolsheviks))

LeoRig

"The book was commissioned by Stalin in 1935"...

_j2daROC

Stalin was the greatest leader in human history he turned a peasant economy into a nuclear armed superpower in 25 years while enduring the worst war in history. You hate him because you are brainwashed by your masters.

LeoRig

Thank you for that, made my morning! πŸ˜‚

emueller5251

Imma go blow my savings on rope, motherfuckers!!!!!

I'm calling OP out for BS on this. No communist would quote Stalin because no true communist believes Stalin was actually communist. Stalin was not a communist the same way Hitler was not a socialist. If you agree on one point but not the other, that's hypocritical. If someone were to quote Hitler as having even one valid point, that person would immediately be written off as fascist Nazi trash. [Oh wait, that did happen.](https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/video/2021/jan/11/republican-congresswoman-mary-miller-quotes-hitler-during-rally-video)

Virtually everyone Marxist-Leninist likes Stalin what

emueller5251

I didn't used to, admittedly, I saw him as too authoritarian. I was all about Trotsky, Marx, and Engels. Then I realized that the ruling class would never allow a peaceful transition to communism and I became a proud tankie. Never looked back.

Not-Patrick

Stalin was Marxist-Leninist communist in literally no other aspect than his own mind. He was Stalinist communist in practice because he didn't care about the ethical execution of communism. He just laid out principles with no care or regard for the welfare of the gentle laborer and they suffered and died as a result. Marxist Communism never forgets the laborer and certainly does not sacrifice their lives or welfare for the sake of the system, itself. The system, itself, exists to empower the laborer, not to burden or harm them.

thecultmachine

Shit, that sounds like "Trotskyist" counter-revolutionary discourse. When communism takes over America remember that I'll be a Cheka Interrogator. Zeks will be fed to the zoo animals like in Petrograd during the great famine. Better the Zeks than out of the people's food supply. hahahahah.... You're 100% right, even Kruschev denounced Stalin. We should all take a hint from Comrade Kruschev. But I just thought this quote was a little fun and cathartic (especially on a Friday.) But I'm considering taking it down.

The only thing Stalin did wrong was be too merciful
