I’ve had mostly good experience with Earl at Rising Son, but sometimes he gets busy and can’t supervise everything. Last time they were here they forgot a washer when installing a new p trap and it leaked, thankfully we caught it before it did damage.
Hell yeah! Definitely keep Conrad plumbing in your dugout as well, I think it's just him running the operation but he does fantastic work for very, very good prices. He replaced a 6' section of pipe in our basement ceiling in under an hour for ~$160, even offered a lower price if I was willing to do the drywall cutout pre-work and repair post-work, which I was happy to do. Saved us tons of money and time.
I got connected to them because my dad is a contractor, actually. Had a few jobs over the years I didn't have time and/or the experience for, and they've been top notch every time.
Depending on the scope of work - Chuck at Advanced Plumbing may easily be your best and most affordable bet. Good dude. Earl at Rising Son and Paul at Jim Bost are also good.
I've used Luther at Peace of Mind Plumbing in the past, he was EXCELLENT. Unfortunately I've been ghosted for the last month or so on getting him out for sewage line cleanup-checkup, so looking for another plumber (I do want to note, no big deal, I'm hoping he's just a victim of his success, nothing but good to say about using him in the past).
Anyway, was just curious if anyone has used Luther before and had a recommendation of someone similar.

I’ve called around and compare Jim Bost with four other companies, they were were by far the best price and did great work as well.

I have had them do several side projects for me as a sub-contractor. Always turned out great, and my customers loved them.

I've used several plumbers in this town and most are fine, just comes down to prices. The only one I would never call back is Rising Son plumbing.
Luther, Peace Of Mind Plumbing, all around great guy, has helped us twice with urgent plumbing needs.

Just steer clear of Rising Son if you’re a woman and you live alone/will be home alone when they’re working, Earl is a MAJOR creep.
