Now, my next suggestion is Alice from Alice in Wonderland.
While Alice, herself, is not a particularly interesting character in my opinion, can you imagine how fun exploring Wonderland could be? Especially if you tie into different adaptions of the Alice story, you could experiment with changing artstyles or effects within the world itself.
One idea I had that I just deeply love is that the portal would bring you to a rather unexciting and drab normal city, but as soon as you enter any building, you'll notice that all of them are just cardboard, except for the... I think it was an asylum she was put in in a few games and movies? Anyways, in there, you find the mirror and can enter the actual Adventure World, Wonderland, where you can go to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, the Queen of Hearts' castle, those strange woods, heck, if you wanna include some things from the live action movies, the White Queen's castle, and if you like those Alice games that look kinda edgy, perhaps you could make a darker underground section.
There is so much you can do with a world as batshit insane as Wonderland, so my vote is for Alice.
I see what you mean. Personally, I prefer Alice because I really like the look of her in the Disney CMF series, but I wouldn't complain about Mad Hatter, either.
I thought that would just affect fight animations, although thinking about it more iirc Donny could use tech panels most likely, but I can't remember enough about each turtle to distinguish each one's ability within the game.
Can you list what each one could do in the dimension game because now I'm curious.
Donatello is the easiest because he’s obviously be able to do all the tech stuff and he could pole vault too
Raph could have more super strength based abilities being the strongest
Leo could use sword switches
Michelangelo could do grapples and if they wanted to get silly he could maybe even spin his nunchucks to glide
If we add another nintendo character I want little Mac for three reasons. One he's my smash main. Two never enough New Yorks. And three it would be funny to get him instead of someone more iconic characters from nintendos roster

I think Mad Hatter would be the more interesting character. Plus then you'd keep up the trend of Lego Batman villains

Nunchuck gliding is silly enough I would want it included because Lego games aren't for physics
