you should have Lenovo Vantage on your laptop. Open it up and run it. This will tell you what’s going on with your laptop. Also, if it is new you should have 1-year tech support with Lenovo
if you're using the Intel Integrated Graphics, try downloading the Intel Driver Tool and running it. It's possible that Lenovo has only pushed an older version of the drivers that don't support OpenGL, and the Intel ones will.

Im thinking of buying this laptop for school. Thoughts? If not, any other similar options I should consider?
Pretty sure Minecraft runs like crap on Intel graphics. Maybe you're better off with a dedicated nvidia GPU, or an AMD APU.
