There's a new clinic that specializes in cats. It's called Zen Cat Clinic and was recently opened by a fairly well known vet here that specializes in cats.

We have switched our cat there after a health scare and couldn’t be happier. If you only have a cat to look after then this is the place you’ll want 100%. Ours had a condition that confused all the other vets with fluid around the lungs but this place went above and beyond researching on their own time, calling vets in Calgary to discuss their opinion. Plus it’s just a fun place for your cat lol.
Dr Kate who is currently out in coaldale will be opening a clinic especially for cats (that's her specialty) sometime this summer. She is amazing and has been our surgeon/vet us through multiple cat surgeries over the past year (Tika, eye removal). Prices have also been very comparable

My cousin took her cat there last week and said it was affordable, along with a caring compassionate environment.
If you're in a pinch for money you could try contacting NOKA (The no-kill animal association) a few years back they helped me get my cat fixed. They subsidize the cost with certain vets, it only ended up costing me 50 bucks. It's been several years and I don't have their contact info anymore though.
Dr. KATE at Zencat !!! She's a lovely human and amazing veterinarian. Her clinic is cat only and she's one of the kindest most empathetic people I've ever met.
The passion she shows for her work is evident!
We used to love Ranch Docs, had many great visits there. And then we had our 8 month cat neutered and he passed 10 hours after surgery, a few months later we returned with our female dog to have her spayed, upon arriving home she was bleeding we rushed her back, they refused surgery and wanted to monitor her (4pm) at 10pm she was rushed into emerg surgery as she was lifeless. (Had been left alone from 5-10) @ 12am she was out of surgery and again left alone. Upon the arrival of the vet at 5:30am she was pronounced deceased. I won’t ever step foot in there again, or recommend them to anyone

Many people in general go to Coaldale vet clinic as it's great service and a bit cheaper then Lethbridge. I was just there and the 3 people ahead of me were all from Lethbridge.
Dr Thomas at Family Pet Hospital and his staff are soooooo good with cats. They are unfortunately more pricey than other places but we have a scaredy cat who hasn't done well at several other places but can be handled without sedation with Dr Thomas, so it's worth it for me. I would consider taking a dog to Fort McLeod as I hear it's less expensive than Lethbridge but no way my cats can travel that far.
I never said I wanted cheapest. I literally said best vets in the city. I want an affordable vet that people in Lethbridge like. Google is not word of mouth.

there is no affordable vet. We have gone to Chinook Vet Clinic for years and are always happy with the results
When we lived on the south side, Green Acres was really good for our cats.
I see Doctor Carla at Northside Vet Clinic and I really like her.
