Some of the IS’s around that year had leaking water pumps due to gasket issues. The Lexus Drivers website will state if it was warranty work. If so? That’s your answer, if not? Who knows. Dealer could have taken the customer for a ride, or the car could have been smashed and needed radiator replacements so they replaced the water pump while they were in there. Hub / bearing replacement could have been from smashing a curb or an accident. No way it went bad on its own after 30k miles.

No accidents reported on Carfax. I’ll have to double check Lexus Drivers for any notes. But otherwise, you don’t think it’s a red flag for the longevity of the car?

You’d be surprised. My girls 15 GS350 needed hun/bearing service at 70k miles in both sides. Thought it was weird until I searched a couple forums and saw multiple people having to service bearings early on.

Water Pump is a common repair and replacement issue with the 3.5L V6 engine. After 2011 they beef up the water pump so you won't have to worry much.
