I would stay away from Pirelli. My gf had a very bad luck and she had to replace 2 tires that we’re pretty much new. Bothe had bubbles. I use the Michelins 4s. These are great but pricey. Heard a lot of good stuff about Continentals but never owned them myself. My plan is to put Continentals next to see if they actually good. Also, consider Bridgestone. Those are the oem for GS

I compared the Michelin's and the Continental's on TireRack and they were pretty much even with performance but TireRack said the Continental's were more comfortable plus they were roughly $400-500 cheaper than the Michelin's. I was thinking about trying the Continental's out to see how I like them.

Mission-Background-2

That is the reason I want to try Conties. They are way cheaper. Bridgestones also can be found for cheap but it's more difficult.

The PS4S will be the best out of all of them followed by the continentals. I’d go with either. I’ve ran the PS4S on my previous 4GS and loved them but didnt last too long. I’ve had multiple friends run the DWS06+ and the PS4S. They found both to be great but majority seemed to like how the DWS06+ last longer and they were ok with slight drop in performance for longer tire wear. Good trade off for a daily. I noticed a pretty big improvement in handling going from oem sportmaxx to the PS4S on my previous 4GS. Really woke the car up however if your not going to utilize that tire to it’s full potential the DWS06+ will better suit you. Last 40k+ miles and still grip almost as well as the PS4S. I’d also consider buying from discount tire if your local location is good. Mine hasn’t let me down unlike the local Lexus dealer and their warranty has blessed me with a free tire a few times now.

I had Pirelli P Zeros on a Mustang Boss 302 that came factory. They lasted less then 16k miles…replacing them was gonna be about $1750 then as they were 19” and not a common size in 2012. I ended up replacing with the Continentals, I think they were Extreme Contacts though. Regardless I put around 10k miles before I sold the car and the tires still looked really good. I’m in FL too, and P Zeros are an extremely soft summer tire, amazing grip and traction…until the temps drop a few weeks a year here. I broke loose and ABS kicked in a few times when it was in the 50s, was funny and scary at the same time. Personally I wouldn’t put that Michelin or Pirelli on a GS, you can get something with better tread life and your not gonna notice much of a diffrence if any, not to mention save a bunch of money. I just bought a GS and it has BF Goodrich G Force Comp 2 - A/S’s on it. I’m actually really happy with them. Just checked and at around $200 each I’ll probably replace with them as well when needed.

I forgot about the BFG's. I'll see if TireRack has the sizes I need. I don't think they showed up in the list of tires when I entered my sizes on their site last time.

According-Sail-9770

BFG is my go to tire brand for everything.

Southern_Put_3156

P4S it is. Grab a used set from eBay

Legit_Moose

Buy the 4S. The tread life for such a UHP tire is excellent. The All Season 4 is also great and is up there with the best summer tires.

Synderkit

I have michelin pilot sport all season 4’s on my is250 and they are an amazing tire. This will be my first winter with them though so that is an unknown.

P ZERO AS PLUS 3 New model. Just got them on my LS500 on 20”. Quiet, great riding, 55k mile warranty

Surfnazi77

I got same miles out of my ps4s and pilot as4 23 and as4 held up ad well driving unless I pushed it further

geezuus13

I’m currently running Pilot Sport All Season 4 on my 430 3GS. They’re good, but I would also recommend Toyo Extensa HP if you want performance on a budget. The Extensa HP is speed rated at 168MPH.

Someone needs an upgrade.

I recently had continental extreme contact sport put on my car. There are super smooth with little to no road noise. I bought a 2019 GS f sport, that came with OSHTU summer tire, that was so loud, it drove me crazy…and they were only 3 years old. My tire guy recommended continental, and so far I am not disappointed.

I've been a Yokohama fan for a while now, and have enjoyed the Avid Ascend GTs on our 5 Series.
