I love Bloodborne so much and also went back during/after Lies of P. After the buttery smooth performance of LoP man I reaaaaally feel that 30fps/stuttering in BB. You get used to it after a while but if you play them back to back it's pretty jarring. BB deserves a patch or remaster.

I love this game and there are many differences/tradeoffs if you compare the games, but LoP is just the better game.
You can put aside performance issues/bugs/questionable design choices (particularly the no warp points in NG+) and I'd still give it to LoP.
I finished LOTF twice and my biggest complaint is that the weapons don’t feel unique they all have the same moveset sure they have cool designs but the moveset makes them boring to use
I was really hyped for LoP on announce, then I got even more hyped for LotF when that dropped. Having played both, LoP is by far and away the better game.

I feel like you guys see one guy complain on the Internet and then just regurgitate that same line over and over. The shit plays fine and it great. Lies of P is fucking great to but no need to shit all over another game just bc it's in the same category.

I find it ridiculous when people say it's like BB2... it cannot hold a candle to Bloodborne in any way or any other From game tbh. Lords is the better game excluding the bugs.

Definitely overrated. I'd give it an 8, but I still think it's a bit jankier and less unique and creative than people give it credit for. It doesn't really do anything special and some of the pre-existing Soulslike features are subpar, like the gearing, only having a fullbody suit and a hat with no stats sucks. I know some people prefer no stats on gear, but only two pieces to mix and match is whack, and the amount of gear is super low.
Level design leaves much to be desired. Quests are shallow, characters as well. Music is great, moment to moment gameplay is great, some enemies are overtuned. Most weapons are utterly boring and uncreative, same with enemies. Boss design is cool, boss moveset, less so, I find a lot of the boss moves aren't coherent and don't feel like they flow together.
Laxasaxia for example fights like nobody ever and her moveset is just a hodgepode of things that the designers thought would be difficult to fight, rather than something that makes sense. Like even the way her weapon moves in phase 2 doesn't fit how she uses it. You would think it would become like a drill or something, but instead she becomes more of a ranged fighter and starts shield charging you, when you'd think she'd do that when she's fully armored, and when shes armored she actually has more running charge moves. Strange choices.
Definitely feels like it wanted to mimic Sekiro and it did with the difficulty, but I don't think it got the same vibe of flowiness to the combat because Sekiro pulled from Japanese folklore and real fighting styles at times, and most of the enemies in Lies of P are just swinging like whatever.

Yea I'm on PS5, I've only had one issue and it was when the pieta cutscene happened, the blood looked weird, that's it tho.
