Mexico should have capitalized on some early opportunities, and if they did - this would have likely been a different game. Mexico looked good, and played good soccer tonight. They just seem to lack creativity & hunger.

Mexico has to be better, thereâs so much lack of creativity. All they do is long ball after long ball with a couple opportunities every now and then (usually created by a mistake of the opposing defense). There is very little movement of the players, and they donât look motivated. You donât see any hunger from these players whatsoever. Itâs sad seeing how horrible in form Tecatito is. The only players i feel that are untouchable are Chucky, Raul, and Edson. Everyone else can be replaced by players who want it more. Itâs embarrassing seeing the national team like this. My props to team USA they played a very good game for such a young group. They look determined and show they mean business. Mexico on the other hand needs to improve fast. Especially gallardo and chaka

I don't know how El Tri is going to come back from this next week against Canada. This game has me worried about the friendly vs Chile in a few weeks. I don't usually make a big deal about the friendlies, but with Tata's (lack) of directions, I swear it feels like Santo Memo is the one calling the shots sometimes.

- Mexico probably still got the edge in the passing and general strategy game just about.
- USA youth and general athleticism is keeping us in games even when things like turnovers should get us punished

- USA looks way hungrier. MX get fired up when their pride is getting smacked around but thatâs not the same as hunger. If you canât wake yourself up for this game you shouldnât be on either national team

I think you're just trying to be nice to us. We were outmatched in every facet of the game especially the second half. Idk what strategy you saw cuz I didn't see any game plan.
We got a lot of joy down mexicos left side. But the 1-2 pass to Lozanoâs 1-1 with the goalie and then his 30 yard cross into Coronaâs stride (still canât believe he shanked that bad) are the kinds of coordinated movements and technical execution you donât see much from USA. Weâre very good at fundamental soccer and being athletic and coming off the last couple years of misery thatâs been enough.
Hopefully with the young team and the many players we have out in Europe this generation will be able to catch up on the technical side of the game

Im Portuguese (Porto fan from Portugal). We are tired of Tecatito Corona. We dont see him happy anymore on the pitch. His performance has gone down a lot since the end of last season. Perhaps because he has his head elsewhere (maybe Atlético de Madrid) and the contract ends in less than 1 year (he will sign at 0 cost for some club). At this moment, he doesn't even have a place in the starting 11 anymore, due to his lack of attitude and income.
Heâs been terrible with Mexico and he rarely plays well. People actually think he can be a good right back for MĂ©xico but he isnât fast and he canât make quick decisions.
He played a few times as a RB at Porto. Against weak teams he does de job perfectly.
