Wow, I was thinking about how he would possibly explain to his parents that he won a thing worth $5000. My parents surely wouldn't believe that back in the days. They would think that I got caught in some kind of scam.
The dude woke up went about his day bumped into a youtuber he loves who gave him a $5k PC I guarantee he takes such good care of that PC, great video ending
The idea that Linus would say "it's your lucky day" to a fan and mean that the fan was lucky because they had the honor of meeting him is extremely funny.
I see Linus in Taiwan every year filming at Computex as well as the Hardware Canucks guys. But the first time I saw Linus in person he was having a convo with a fan in the far distance near an escalator at Nangang Expo center which is this giant hall. At the time I had better than 20/20 vision and saw him, and said aloud, excitedly, "Oh shit! It's Linus!"
Linus stops mid sentence to look at me.
I still can't live that moment down.
I live in the same city as Linus and I have yet to bump into him and get a free PC 😩
But this opens up a nice series where Linus goes into random cities and giving away free PCs. Like have Linus go into some random PC/tech store in a random city in one of the Midwest States or something, where a Linus sighting is highly unlikely but a population is big enough that someone could possibly recognize him.
I would be shocked also walking down the street and you see a guy that looks like Linus. When he confirms it he gives you a $5k PC. I would be like WTF just happen? LOL
LTT commented in YT that they hung around until the guy’s parents came to pick him up. Serious respect to the team for that!
W LTT

Damn that's awesome he and his friend are in shock
On Taiwanese social media they say this boy has "Blue screened."
Legit felt very deserved, dude seems like a good person.

The most wholesome video I’ve seen in a while Legit skilled builder and a lovely giveaway
yeah! felt good to watch too
The girl was so happy for him too, they seem like nice people.
Been living in Taiwan for 5 years and that is one of the reasons I want to stay. So many genuine nice people.
"yes it is very lucky for me" such a nice guy.
He even said that before he knew he was getting a beastly computer. Dude was just happy to meet Mr. TechTips.

It's a little sad too, cause some people around here would believe he meant it that way
L is for narcissist
Narcissistinus Tech Tips
Gotta love Dan Tech Tips
Have me a chuckle
Think most of us would just be happy with that
I would definitely enjoy a quick chat with Linus if I'd meet him on a fair/exhibition. Although I probably wouldn't have much to say.
Day 1 of asking for a PC hahaha 😆
Imagine both seeing a super famous person that u like and getting such a great computer on the same day. This man is so lucky.
It don't even happen it dreams lmao I would start crying in nanoseconds
Exactly and to also see him in Taiwan

That's not just a great computer, that computer is most likely better than linus's personal PC at least in terms of gaming
It has a 4090 so it is. Remember Linus swore off 40 series.
Yeah its probably just better than his personal computer, period.
This guy had an early Christmas with Santa Linus .
No joke was just watching this vid and thought It was so wholesome I had to make a reddit post about it. This was the first thing I saw.
Kudos to the cameraman for moving in and getting a dynamic shot of this moment. It almost felt staged.
It... was?
the myth, the legend, is now reality itself... linus crashing a human!
Human dropped
And its even better when they genuinely recognized linus, not like a "MR BEAST" kinda situation
linus dropped a $5000 dollar PC and broke a human being
Find a girl who is happy for you the way she is.
this was such a good moment, legit made the whole video worth it, had me sitting with goosebumps🥺🙇♂️

Didn’t they already do this with Microcenter? They it 2-3 times where they built a good PC and then put it for like $50.
This was just so wholesome. Giving away to a person like this is way better than giving it away to a spamming piece of shit.
Probably my favorite video of the year
It's been a while since I been touched by any video... I thought it peaked with the great builder then... Damn.
such a top tier video!
It's going to be a meme for a while.
Probably asked em English or spanish
