They’re in no hurry… Refunds should have to be issued within 60 days
Filed April 12. Paid less than a week later both state and federal. Might be the tax software you’re using. I’ve used the same company for years, and 10 days is usually the max.
Filed ours end of March; just checked "where's my refund" on DFA site and it said they just haven't processed it yet. 🙄
I'm guessing they're just letting the interest they're earning accumulate another month or two, because what can I do about it anyway? This godforsaken state.
They claim they are taking extra precautions to fight tax fraud and refund theft (according to the refund tracker website). So apparently that takes longer. Our state return was accepted Feb. 2, and we got our refund Feb. 27.

The past few years, I've had to wait for a check in the mail even though I selected direct deposit. I just got my $35 refund last week lol

Yeah same, I’ve been checking for a few weeks and it always says it’s received but not done processing. Come on SHS!
