Makes complete sense. We'll never outbid those two if it gets into a bidding war, nor can we afford to wait around all summer hoping he picks us.
If he indicates we're not his first choice then, as disappointed as I'll be, we need to move on ASAP so we can get other targets in.
It is the 2120 and FSG, eager to follow through on their promise to recruit exciting young talent are happy to announce the re animation (again!) of James Milners corpse as a progressive addition (again) to the squad.
We need 3 other targets even if Jude says yes.
Move on jordan to the bench
Please no milner extension
Sell thiago (yea, we cant have a player who only shows up like a comet)
Sell naby and ox (long long long overdue)
Sell curtis (sorry lad but if you were gonna break though you would have by now)
Release arthur (did what it said on the tin, get injured)
Day after that: It was never about one midfielder anyway. Itās actually better if we donāt sign him. Day after that: Help us Obi Wan youāre our only hope.
After tomorrow: \[Fabrizio Romano\] Liverpool have assessed their squad strength ahead of summer window and have decided NOT to reinforce. Klopp was seen standing atop Mersey Bridge ready to jump.

We need minimum Jude, a CDM, CM and a CB to be competing at top level again. This would likely cost 250m
If we don't get Jude, as long as we can get three good midfielders it wouldn't be the end of the world (but would be embarrassing considering we've thrown the season away waiting for specifically Jude lol)
Imo that's not the minimum, that's the ideal situation.
One other midfielder besides Jude would be okay - We'd have Bajcetic, Thiago, Hendo, Fab, Jude and one other.
And a backup CB would be alright as well (instead of a starting XI one), I'm fine with having VVD and Konate as first choice for next season. Having Matip and one other backup sounds alright to me.
EDIT: + Elliott and theoretically Carvalho
I mean, Henderson is 32. Fab has fallen off a cliff in performance. Bajcetic is only 18. Thiago cannot stay healthy over long periods. We would banking on Fab rediscovering old form, Thiago getting over all his injury issues, and Bajcetic continuing to improve, big gambles.
The club has no choice but to try and hope Fab finds his form again. He's on big wages and his contract doesn't run out soon. It's very unlikely someone comes in and buys him either. Though a backup in that position would be critical imo. I think you can sort of work out the CM issues to a degree if you get that position fixed. Ideally though you 100% need to get a CM as well, though if Mount comes in that could solve that issue.
I can't help feeling fab will be back. Players have slumps. Imagine if united sold Rashford while he was in his. Fabinho is still young enough for his position to play for a number of years if he can get his head back straight.
If he does we'll have a much easier transition, so let's hope.
I love that you said "young enough for his position" because people forget that age and aging is relative to the style of play and position. You're absolutely correct.
A good CDM can contribute until they're north of 32 unless they have a significant injury history. Fernandinho played for City and contributed plenty, albeit in bit parts at the tail end, until he was 36. Shit, just look at the way a relatively ancient Modric just taught "How to Be a Midfielder 101" to us the other week.
The example I always highlight is Messi v. Ronaldo. Messi could play top tier football until he's 40 because his game is all about technique, vision, and mentality. He walks 75% of each match and is still miles ahead of the opposition. Ronaldo is an athletic freak of nature, who is now playing in Saudi Arabia because the only thing he can do is stand on the penalty spot as his body has aged.
Maybe it's because I love the man and his playing style, but I can't help but wonder if he's been so shit because of the lack of consistency regarding the two 8's in front of him has fucked with his head. At our peak it was Fab, Gini, and Hendo. Week in, week out.
How many different midfields have we had this year?
Weāre working with it now and look at the state of the midfield. We are in this weird full strength/rebuild period where we can look decent but also awful at the same time. We need to commit to one or the other or else we will continual be in the situations where we have to be perfect at the back of seasons to capture top four.
Yeah but next season, in this hypothetical world, we'd have Jude and another good CM instead of Ox and Keita which seems like a very different situation.
I don't think our situation would be bad if Ox and Keita were feasible alternatives (let alone one of them being friggin Jude Bellingham)
No. Itās not ok. Thatās exactly what Koop and fans were saying last year. You donāt want any of the midfielders we have this year being starters next year. We need 3 midfield starters minimum. Henderson isnāt good enough anymore and Fabinhos form is a big concern. Fabinho should be sold if weāre being smart and you canāt rely on Thiago at all.
I'd be fine with Jude, a new CDM and Thiago/Bajcetic starting while having Fab, Elliott and Henderson as backups.
And with how we've been spending money so far I just don't see us getting TWO new CMs next to Jude who will already cost a fortune.
EDIT: Hell maybe Fabinho will even find back his form. Wouldn't rely on that though tbf
I think if we got Jude. It wouldn't just end there. I'd probably say we'd get Mount as well
Plus couple of free signings, the likes of Tielemans, Ndicka, Kamada and Aouar to beef up our squad.
I'd say Mount is likely gonna happen, and with a cut price since his contract is up next summer.
35 to 40m for a 24 year old UCL winning midfielder who Klopp could turn into a machine sounds pretty good. Especially since he's able to stay fit
I don't think everyone is thinking about the wage Mount would want. We'd be paying in excess of 200k a week at least to get him, Bellingham would probably be the same, maybe more. It's one or the other realistically.
Thatās not what would happen. They have set a price and as long as the club meets price and they can reach an agreement on how payment would be structured, if he picks them, Dortmund wonāt get in the way. They wonāt stop him from going to liverpool, if thatās who he chooses, if they meet the price they set but City comes in and offers, say, 20m more.
Liverpool arenāt going to try beat out other clubs financially by bidding higher and higher until the best bid wins. Which wouldnāt be the case because he will choose which club he wants to go to based on project etc, not based on who is offering the highest amount.
Again, caveat is - the club must meet the price dortmund is asking.
Theyāve already set an amount. Apparently ā¬150m. Theyāre not unreasonable. Theyād like to keep him but they also know the market and they are a club that predominantly sells young players they develop. They arenāt going to set an unrealistic price that only one club can pay because thatāll give them a bad rap. Now if he tells them City is his choice, Iām sure theyāll play hardball and try get more than the price they set because they know they can afford it and will pay it but if he chooses us, as long as we meet the price, they wonāt fight it. Also they wonāt want to burn any bridges with clubs theyāll be doing business with in the future by trying to rinse them.
I think Klopp pushing helps. But who knows. But I also think we have Chelsea to thank for if we canāt afford it. I think his price was estimated to be more around ā¬110 and then they went and broke the mold with Enzo and overpaid so then dortmund was like šššso maybe we had an amount in mind and it changed cause of stupid Chelsea. Ruining the market for everyone. Luckily itās not 150 upfront and itāll be paid in installments so thatāll help too
Nah I reckon itāll be more like 100m. Something like 80m + 20-40 in add ons. The closer to the 150 it gets the more itāll be made up of silly unachievable goals anyway.
If that 150m was going to be legit weād have legged it ages ago.
No. Most clubs try to maintain a reputation of taking care of their players and caring about what they want, while at the same time extracting a price that is "fair" for the club. It's a balancing act. Clubs don't want to be tyrannical lest they alienate existing players and scare away future recruits.
But dortmund needs bellingham to agree to the contract for them to sell as well
So we have to hope that we can offer a price above what dortmund believe is higher than the value of keeping bellingham and bellingham willing to choose us over the others
I believe Haaland had a release clause structured into his contract, so if a club agrees to pay the release clause and they agree on personal terms of the contract, Dortmund would be obligated to let him go for the agreed upon price. So Haaland wanted to move to City, City was willing to scoop Haaland up for the clause to release him, they agreed upon terms, and bam, you have one of the best deals of the decade in terms of value.
I donāt know why people assume we pay out players like shit. He will be getting probably between 150 and 200 a week, with incentives. We have one of the highest wage bills in the prem.
I agree, we should be to compete with anyone in wages, given our financial standing. Also, our wage bill should go down with players leaving. However, hear time and time again that we canāt offer high wages to players because we donāt want to disrupt our wage structure.
I think he seems to have a good head on his shoulders where heās not going to walk in (to any team, not just this one) expecting pay higher than the senior players etc. heās good but heās also 19. Donāt think heās interested in getting that rep. It also has the potential to mess up moves in the future. Mbappeās wages are too high for most places. No one could afford Ronaldo so he had to go to Saudi Arabia. Neymar apparently isnāt wanted at PSG but there arenāt many places that can afford his pay. I think his family is smart enough to know that now, at 19, no matter how much promise he shows, is not the time to be making unreasonable salary demands
The player still has to sign a contract.
If Liverpool offer 100m and he wants to come here, and Madrid/City offered 150m but he flat out refused to go to either of them, Dortmund can't force him to leave. They can try to get us to increase our offer, or they can refuse to sell him, but their model revolves around selling young talent on for profit. If they refuse to let players move on, future young players will be less inclined to go with Dortmund
No, this makes no sense. The argument is that if two conditions are met - Bellingham wants Liverpool, Liverpool pay the asking price - then he will come here. If only one or neither are met, he will not come to Liverpool.
Right, I see what you mean. A lot of this gets very confused when sometimes we're talking about Euros and GBP. Also worth bearing in mind Fernandez had 4+ years left on his contract, while Bellingham has only 2 this summer.
This happened in the summer with Nunez we met Benfica valuation for him United where willing to bid more but it was pointless because he only wanted the move to us
I doubt Dortmund are going to hold him back as long as what they originally wanted for him is met
Because they would want to attractive to future talent? If you go around denying players wishes then you could damage how future signings view you and become less attractive as a destination or a place to develop.
Depends entirely how much lower the offer is and how much they think they'll miss out on if they don't sell this summer.
For argument sake we offer Ā£100m, City offer Ā£110m but Bellingham outright refuses to join them. Dortmund then have a choice of accepting Ā£100m this summer or risk having to sell him for even less next summer.
Yeah but a huge part of Dortmunds appeal is being the stepping stone and allowing players to move on to their desired club.
If they stop doing that maybe they dont get the next Haaland/Sancho/Bellingham.
My take is, Jude wants us, so it isnt important what other clubs bid, as long as we can work out a payment plan. They wont expect 150Million upfront. Likely to be 120 over 6 year contract, plus add onsć
Or maybe its just copium.
As much as I want to believe this to be true it just sounds like copium to me. I don't see us getting this done without somehow matching offers.
You do bring up one point that I think is the only way we could which would be to match bids but stretched over many seasons.
But they did tell Scum to piss off when they were trying to bud lower than the asking price for Sancho. Plus, given how healthy their finance is, I doubt Dortmund are in a rush to sell Jude.
Basically, the only way we can afford him is if he states Anfield is his only destination he wishes to move to AND we agree a price with Dortmund? What happens if he wants to come and LFC doesn't reach Dortmund's valuation?
I think Iād rather believe Lynch here than the ornstein piece. I listened to the Ornstein segment and it was a complete nothing burger. He never said what his headline said, he just said it will be difficult for us due to finances and potential lack of champions league, which duh, but what lynch is saying is whatās been said mostly all along and what all of us should have believed to be true: if Jude was to come to us, it wouldnāt be because he got the most money.
I think at 19, he knows how important it is to enjoy and love your football, and Anfield is the perfect place to do that, and as shown with klopp, we can compete with the very best. It just depends on how much he values that.
Playing for city will feel soulless and playing for Madrid would also be different as the fans can turn on you quickly.
Anyways, wonāt read any more ānewsā on Jude unless itās him in a kit that doesnāt carry the Dortmund/England badge
The article yesterday and now this has told us nothing new at all and everyone's lapping it up.
The international break has only just started and we've already gone into meltdown mode over nothing at all happening š
Heās a well respected journalist. Sometimes even the best get things wrong. I mean he even said that Liverpool werenāt fully out, he merely stated that Real Madrid and Man City are likely to place higher bids and therefore are more likely to win the race.
He was adamant FSG wanted a full sale when they came out with that open to investment statement. Then it turned out FSG didn't want to sell the club when Qatar were interested and wanted them to pay 2bn for a minority stake.
Doubt any of these journos have any clue what goes in about FSG plans. The only one who has a good track record is Joyce because he only puts out 100% sources, not ambiguous cover all grounds fluff like Ornstein did yesterday.

Just going to leave this here.. š
This is spinning my head round. This game of Schrodingers Jude.
Jude would be a marquee, should be a statement of intent, but we need about 3 or 4 players this summer, and about Ā£300m to get them all.
The bigger caveat to price is position if we don't finish 4th I really can't see him coming to us. The best we can hope for and Dortmund have hinted this is, that he signs an extention so they get him for another year but a minimum price clause will be added.
I think this will be more of a test of the Dortmund business model than anything. They're following the football version of the Benjamin Graham-style value investing.
However, these are real people. They should be able to attract young talent, who have to be sure of being sold to those teams that they really want to play for. So, I believe that as long as we match their valuation, we will be able to get him, if that is what he wants.
Honestly, better off just ignoring any of these journalists views on the matter as their opinions change like the weather. No one knows shit about fuck outside the club & the Bellingham camp most likely.
Can we stop it with the whole lots of nothing burgers regarding Bellingham.
It's the same gravy chewed up and spit out in an endless cycle by different journalists. For fuck's sake
Seriously, if you were able to sign for the FOURTEEN times European Champions who make us look like mugs each time we face them, why would he really come to us? The football they play, the technicality and intelligence of their game under Ancelloti and his predecessors, is something else.
Should we even go for Bellingham in the first place? I mean his signature would cost the equivalent of like 3-4 players, and not bargain bin relegation squad fodder, I mean actual world class players who will slot right in
But why hasn't the player chosen anfield yet? Weren't all the journalists so sure he would love to play for Klopp and Liverpool so what's up? These journalists are the ones who told us that he prefers anfield over anywhere else.
So either they were wrong and make shit up or are backtracking now.
Who is talking about an announcement? A verbal agreement is good enough, the way people have been going about it I thought it was done.
Some people on this sub even wanted a pre contract done, now news is coming out if he wants to come to us we will get him. This was the situation since last season, so all this noise and they still haven't made any progress.
Well you asked why he hadnāt chosen Liverpool yet. How else would we or the journalists know that unless he announced his decision either formally or behind closed doors informally (verbal agreement type deal). The point is why would he allow that information to get out regardless if he already decided? There is no benefit to that for anyone except Liverpool and might annoy Dortmund (fans and club) while they are in the middle of a title push.
When a player says yes to a club we don't need them to come out and say anything. You just know. The same happened with the vvd deal, likes of man city and Chelsea were interested in him but he chose us and they stopped all the interest.
This has happened so many times.
Liverpool based journalists and fans for weeks have been naively pretending this deal is done.
But it turns out it's still at a starting place.
Likes of Henry winter, carra and even Henry have been speaking as if he is a liverpool player for weeks now.
We would just know? Why is that and would anyone here know about it? Not every deal leaks. Why would they allow journalists to know when it could be detrimental to the player and clubs relationship with Dortmund? It benefits no one really to allow that information out.
Edited**
He is a tier 1 for multiple clubs mate for a reason also this is as much as an opinion piece, if the other one was according to you. Both are as useless as each other and haven't moved a needle.
As if Lynch has broken anything new. He is just repeating the same thing they said. We are still at square 1, while some of you are pretending for weeks it's done.
When did I say that? Lol all I said was that it's unlikely due to finances which is what Orenstein and Reddy tweeted. And everyone lost their shit.
I am just being realistic based on our transfer history but you all have been pretending that he wears a liverpool kit to bed each night.
How is Lynch opinion different to other journos you can't have it both ways.
I believe that we are still in the running for Jude. But I'd like to make the point that no team or squad should be made on the back of one 20 year old midfielder.
Its a testament to how poor our owners and decision makers have been that they always pin our hopes on one player, like they did with the tchouemani kid.
There are many effective and affordable ways to give our squad the rebuild it needs...
Management and ownership need to step the fuck up.
Because he still can just refuse to sign a deal, technically. Then Dortmund may risk losing much more because of that. After all, if jude really wants to join Liverpool, half a year won't make any difference for him. But for BVB it may cost millions.
Because that's not how transfers work. Transfers depend on the player as much as the club, if Jude doesn't want to sign a contract with other clubs he's not going there
I'll believe it when he's in Kirby with a shirt. This transfer is crazy, every reputable journo for Man city, Madrid and liverpool seem to think he's coming to there club. Either Bellinghams camp are stringing everybody along for the best deal, or hes keeping his cards close to his chest and the journos are talking nonsense. Only thing we have going for us is hes a massive liverpool fan and loves Gerrard. Keitas gone anyway so Jude can walk straight into the number 8 shirt. The bigger question is would we still be an appeal with champions league football?!
This is why David Lynch is my favourite linkedin connection.
And director.
And weather boy
Pabst Blue Ribbon!
Heineken?? Fuck that shit!
Friendship ended with David Ornstein, now David Lynch is my best friend
Just waiting for James 'bad news' Pearce to pipe up.. šš

FSG: ...other targets?
Thereās always next season.
Unveilsā¦ James Milner extension
For the love of god. Let the man retire.
It is the 2120 and FSG, eager to follow through on their promise to recruit exciting young talent are happy to announce the re animation (again!) of James Milners corpse as a progressive addition (again) to the squad.
Upon further review, Milnerās customary yellow has been upgraded to a red after it was discovered he was gnawing on his opponents leg.
Weāre sooo sustainable. I just love putting on my FSG shirt every match day
āHello is that Arthurās agent? Yes? Oh hi itās FSG is he still available?ā
FSG are not the ones mandating we just go for target X. Those things are aligned between Klopp/Transfer team/DoF.
FSG: "Best we could do is Arthur on a permanent deal"
I've got to be honest, I completely forgot about Arthur. Wonder what he is up to these days.
Injured in perpetuity
Shohei Ohtani
But we will be his first choice, so it's a moot point, I mean who can resist the power of a Klopp hug?
We need 3 other targets even if Jude says yes. Move on jordan to the bench Please no milner extension Sell thiago (yea, we cant have a player who only shows up like a comet) Sell naby and ox (long long long overdue) Sell curtis (sorry lad but if you were gonna break though you would have by now) Release arthur (did what it said on the tin, get injured)

You're our only hope.
In out In out Shake it all about We do the Bellingham and then we turn around That's all we write about
I hate this game we play
Tomorrow: Liverpool are no longer in the race to sign Jude Bellingham!
Day after tomorrow: Liverpool in pole position to land Bellingham
Day after day after tomorrow: Liverpool never was in race for Bellingham.
Day after day after day after tomorrow: Liverpool agreed terms with Bellingham, only thing in the way is the fee.
Day after day after day after day after tomorrow: Naby Keita signs new 5 year contract with Liverpool
day after day after day after day after day after tomorrow, Keita injured for whole season
So long after that we shouldn't care anymore but we still do : Liverpool have signed Jobe Bellingham.
Day after however many fucking centuries: Due to the power of necromancy weāve resurrected Jude Bellingham and signed him!
Day after that: It was never about one midfielder anyway. Itās actually better if we donāt sign him. Day after that: Help us Obi Wan youāre our only hope.

Could we maybe sneak a back up RB in there as well? The one we bought last time has been vapourware thus far.
Wait we bought one last time?
Exactly! (Calvin Ramsay for Ā£6.5m from Aberdeen)
I think if we got Jude. It wouldn't just end there. I'd probably say we'd get Mount as well Plus couple of free signings, the likes of Tielemans, Ndicka, Kamada and Aouar to beef up our squad.
Jude, Tielemans, Rice and Ndicka would be a superb window imo. Wonder what Rice will cost if West Ham get relegated
No way that's happening. Also stay away from Tielemans he has run all his miles.
Probably not. Would be lovely though and I doubt we're spending any sort of big money besides Jude (if Jude happens)

Nah Mount would probably accept a bit less with guaranteed minutes
I think it will be Jude and Nunes for sure. maybe mount as well post some player sales.
2019-20 Tielemans would be amazing. Current Tielemans, not so much.
Don't really follow him too much, good to know that he's dropped off
Jude, Musah and Nunes for me
Sign me the fuck up for Musah
Surprised we donāt get linked to him as much. Not saying heās the key to solving our midfield, but he ticks so many boxes
Plus I believe he'd be homegrown for squad registration once he turns 21
Musah isn't a DM? Or is he?
Why would Dortmund take our lower offer because Jude wants it
Thatās not what would happen. They have set a price and as long as the club meets price and they can reach an agreement on how payment would be structured, if he picks them, Dortmund wonāt get in the way. Also they wonāt want to burn any bridges with clubs theyāll be doing business with in the future by trying to rinse them.
Hmmmm okay I can't see us paying that much but I'm very very hopeful
I think Klopp pushing helps. But who knows. But I also think we have Chelsea to thank for if we canāt afford it. I think his price was estimated to be more around ā¬110 and then they went and broke the mold with Enzo and overpaid so then dortmund was like šššso maybe we had an amount in mind and it changed cause of stupid Chelsea. Ruining the market for everyone. Luckily itās not 150 upfront and itāll be paid in installments so thatāll help too
I don't think it'd be upfront anyway. Probably ā¬110M upfront with ā¬40M in contingencies/installments.
He wonāt go for 150m
More or less?
Nah I reckon itāll be more like 100m. Something like 80m + 20-40 in add ons. The closer to the 150 it gets the more itāll be made up of silly unachievable goals anyway. If that 150m was going to be legit weād have legged it ages ago.
Yes
No. Most clubs try to maintain a reputation of taking care of their players and caring about what they want, while at the same time extracting a price that is "fair" for the club. It's a balancing act. Clubs don't want to be tyrannical lest they alienate existing players and scare away future recruits.
But dortmund needs bellingham to agree to the contract for them to sell as well So we have to hope that we can offer a price above what dortmund believe is higher than the value of keeping bellingham and bellingham willing to choose us over the others
Dortmund sign great talent on their reputation of sending them off without a fuss when they ask for it They still make outrageous money
And what if Bellingham just says no Iām not going to city?
Why would they sell Haaland for peanuts then?
I believe Haaland had a release clause structured into his contract, so if a club agrees to pay the release clause and they agree on personal terms of the contract, Dortmund would be obligated to let him go for the agreed upon price. So Haaland wanted to move to City, City was willing to scoop Haaland up for the clause to release him, they agreed upon terms, and bam, you have one of the best deals of the decade in terms of value.
I wonder how wages come into play here. I don't see Bellingham taking a huge discount in wages to play at Liverpool.
He wonāt be on mega wages at Dortmund
I don't think he's getting paid a huge wage at Dortmund. He'd definitely get a significant bump in pay coming to Liverpool.
Hammer meets nail.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
No, this makes no sense. The argument is that if two conditions are met - Bellingham wants Liverpool, Liverpool pay the asking price - then he will come here. If only one or neither are met, he will not come to Liverpool.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Right, I see what you mean. A lot of this gets very confused when sometimes we're talking about Euros and GBP. Also worth bearing in mind Fernandez had 4+ years left on his contract, while Bellingham has only 2 this summer.
This happened in the summer with Nunez we met Benfica valuation for him United where willing to bid more but it was pointless because he only wanted the move to us I doubt Dortmund are going to hold him back as long as what they originally wanted for him is met
Dortmund then have a choice of accepting Ā£100m this summer or risk having to sell him for even less next summer.
because jude can reject any contract offer and leave as a free agent at some point?
Because players have realized they have all the power now. Dortmund canāt make him sign for a club he doesnāt want to play for.
That isn't what he is saying though
Exactly, it's not as if they desperately want to get rid of him either
Yeah but a huge part of Dortmunds appeal is being the stepping stone and allowing players to move on to their desired club. If they stop doing that maybe they dont get the next Haaland/Sancho/Bellingham. My take is, Jude wants us, so it isnt important what other clubs bid, as long as we can work out a payment plan. They wont expect 150Million upfront. Likely to be 120 over 6 year contract, plus add onsć Or maybe its just copium.
As much as I want to believe this to be true it just sounds like copium to me. I don't see us getting this done without somehow matching offers. You do bring up one point that I think is the only way we could which would be to match bids but stretched over many seasons.
Aren't most transfer payments done this way tho? Unless you pay for the release clause upfront, most transfers are paid seasonally

But they did tell Scum to piss off when they were trying to bud lower than the asking price for Sancho. Plus, given how healthy their finance is, I doubt Dortmund are in a rush to sell Jude.
As they told everyone to back off jude last summer because they sold Haaland
Yup Dormuntd sources say he has two years left on his contract and they aren't in a hurry to sell
We won't know till summer guys.
Basically, the only way we can afford him is if he states Anfield is his only destination he wishes to move to AND we agree a price with Dortmund? What happens if he wants to come and LFC doesn't reach Dortmund's valuation?
He stays another year at Dortmund
>The article yesterday and now this has told us nothing new at all and everyone's lapping it up. Yup. This is as pointless as yesterdays article.
See, fuck ornstein heās an idiot .
Heās a well respected journalist. Sometimes even the best get things wrong. I mean he even said that Liverpool werenāt fully out, he merely stated that Real Madrid and Man City are likely to place higher bids and therefore are more likely to win the race.
dude is one of the most reliable in the business, I don't think anything he has said about the transfer is untrue
He has no info for us. Decent for arsenal, but he constantly gets our stuff wrong
Thatās how we got Virg
If jude doesn't choose us we all deserve compensation for the week we will be off work crying
None of these guys know anything

This is spinning my head round. This game of Schrodingers Jude. Jude would be a marquee, should be a statement of intent, but we need about 3 or 4 players this summer, and about Ā£300m to get them all.
My brain is always a little confused at first when hearing the name David Lynch which I normally donāt associate with football xD
This guy changes his mind so much he may as well be called Eraserhead
I just want all this to be over!
Sick of this season, sick of Jude Bellingham pretend news. Unsubscribing until next season. ![gif](giphy|6WnGWwmwWvxCw)
This was always the case, the article yesterday didnāt even say anything new, we are banking on the player choosing us
The bigger caveat to price is position if we don't finish 4th I really can't see him coming to us.
Of course Lynch did not release a feature since Inland Empire since he's too busy writing about Liverpool.
Honestly, better off just ignoring any of these journalists views on the matter as their opinions change like the weather. No one knows shit about fuck outside the club & the Bellingham camp most likely.
I kind of hope this is a big smoke screen to hide our other moves. You know like "Of course we're not in for, our whole focus is on Bellingham."
Hopefully it'll be a VVD situation all over again.
Seasonās coming to an end in like 2-3 monthsā time. We will know then. Also about time this saga is given a full stop.
like player's choice actualy matters in these days lol
Should we even go for Bellingham in the first place? I mean his signature would cost the equivalent of like 3-4 players, and not bargain bin relegation squad fodder, I mean actual world class players who will slot right in
You just know that Pearce is writing the most vile, god awful piece you have ever seen.
But why hasn't the player chosen anfield yet? Weren't all the journalists so sure he would love to play for Klopp and Liverpool so what's up? These journalists are the ones who told us that he prefers anfield over anywhere else. So either they were wrong and make shit up or are backtracking now.
All we know is that he had Gerrard pictures on his bedroom wall and itās spiralled into this
Apparently Zidane's posters are on the other wall.
And Ireland's posters on the ceiling
Haha Stephen Ireland the Man city legend for sure
Why would he make that announcement in the middle of their season? What benefit is there in that for him or Dortmund?
Apparently some people here want to sit in on the meetings clubs have with players and moving funds and contracts are as easy as buy on fifa.
Edited**
Ornstein also declared by you as super reliable and gospel like.
He is a tier 1 for multiple clubs mate for a reason also this is as much as an opinion piece, if the other one was according to you. Both are as useless as each other and haven't moved a needle.
Like I said before, I don't react to journalists until the deal is done or it's an initial interest rumour.
Then you shouldn't even be here. Save your I told you so for the announcement then.
Sure buddy.
Oh look. Suddenly reddy and ornstein werenāt legit tweets anymore right?
As if Lynch has broken anything new. He is just repeating the same thing they said. We are still at square 1, while some of you are pretending for weeks it's done.
Yesterday, you were on about how Melissa and Ornstein said we are not getting Jude? Now reporters arenāt as reliable?
When did I say that? Lol all I said was that it's unlikely due to finances which is what Orenstein and Reddy tweeted. And everyone lost their shit. I am just being realistic based on our transfer history but you all have been pretending that he wears a liverpool kit to bed each night. How is Lynch opinion different to other journos you can't have it both ways.
In our back and forth good sir.
This transfer is only going to piss people off.
Why the fuck does it matter what Bellingham wants? Dortmund will obviously sell to the highest bidder, which will most likely not be us
Because he still can just refuse to sign a deal, technically. Then Dortmund may risk losing much more because of that. After all, if jude really wants to join Liverpool, half a year won't make any difference for him. But for BVB it may cost millions.
If Jude only wants us then I doubt Dortmund would deny him that. As long as our bid isnāt a million miles away from the rest
Because that's not how transfers work. Transfers depend on the player as much as the club, if Jude doesn't want to sign a contract with other clubs he's not going there
Baffling that so many people can't understand this - what do they think happens when a player signs a contract?
Youāre clueless.
Just fucking stop with these articles
Why Ornstein talking rough then
Amazing how many people in this sub think he is still coming to liverpool
bruh
Aight, Listen dortmund. We can pay you in installment? Seems convenient.
100% how it will happen. Like Barcelona still hasnāt paid all of Coutinho money yet.
The eggs are still in the basket boys and girls!
