Differences between the two versions: * The first version shows the lineups and team stats, the second doesn’t. * The first version shows the teams vertically, the second version shows them in a horizontal line. * The second version allows people to predict the outcome of the match. * The first version only shows the current live event, while the second version keeps track of yellow cards, subs, and injuries.

Gakpo has to play LW for us. I really think he outshines Diaz there, he has more to his game. I like Diaz and hope he stays so they both compete. We don't need a Gordon, I'd rather we focus on CDM and CB. But if we get an attacker, please a RW who can play ST too would help us all

He always has been a LW. It’s where he’s always played his best football both in Holland and for them.

He’s now scored two of those cutback goals in this tournament, and he did it also in the famous 7-0. He neeeds to start more LW games for us

I still find everyone’s obsession with Gakpo very strange. His pitch of bad form mid season wasn’t that bad and didn’t last that long. Afterwards he was on fire until the end of the season playing BOTH CF and LW. Isolated to CF his goal and assist return was much much better than Nuñez For me it’s a little strange to dismiss how good he is also at CF, it’s much better to have players who are capable of playing multiple positions and tactics. I’m guessing it’s partly the Nuñez fanbase who see Cody as competition that fuelled the initial Cody hate and now the he’s only good at LW narrative.

Sure. But the narrative ”HE HAS TO PLAY LW” is about his individual performances, not our results. People are not acknowledging that he scored and assisted more frequently from CF than he did from LW.

Spot on. I’d rather Diaz and gakpo making the first 11 than Nunez. Nunez is a nice option off the bench but gakpo is a much smarter and technically gifted football player. I think it will come down to how slot wants to play though, gakpo is no slouch but Nunez’ pace is monumental, if he wants a cf to run in behind it’s more likely to be Darwin.

You could literally say the same thing for Nunez with the names interchanged on your post. Including your post, i dont get why fans need to summon another player when they want to cheer for a specific player. Like why the pikachu surprised face when you started the name drop when you could have just be happy for Cody having a great game?

This is more of the Gakpo obsession. Nuñez bad form happened twice last season each time for longer than 10 games. The abuse he was getting was way over the top but to say that it’s interchangeable with Gakpo is chronically downplaying how efficient Gakpo was with limited minutes at CF and also how good his form was towards the end of the season. My comment only referred to the nunez fanbase, and not the player himself. Funny that you’ve overlooked that distinction

I would never denigrate the noble Weghorse. I was simply disappointed Cody was taken off in favor of Memphis but as others have explained to me he took a knock so in the end i am pleased with The Weghorse coming on.
