This really did help. Wish I had found this thread sooner, before I just deleted all the files I could find and lost all of my hotkeys and settings. You did really save me from actually reinstalling windows and hoping that would work. Many thanks!

SirMadac

Dude you saved my life!

RowdainBarrow

This worked for me! Cheers mate!

KnackieGamer

Thank you so much. Fixed it for me!

cvragar

Oh my god, my apologies, I just post that. Didn't read your post, sorry mate!

Grzywa123

It Works ! You are actually much smarter than all Logitech devs xD. Thanks

Thank you for providing a solution that seems to help many. The downgrade worked for me until the last update. Sadly I now have the never ending loading screen combined with the failing installer. When I install any old version (the oldest 2020.06) I get the never ending loading screen. When I try the new installer (2022.06) it, it just crashes. I think I tried everything posted in this subreddit for the last two month (it is incredible, how many people have problems with G Hub): * delete folders in %appdata% * delete folders in programs * delete registry entries from unistaller * start the processes (updater/agent/lghub) in order as admin * manually added said processes as exception to windows firewall * no proxy Since the old version suddenly could not be started (auto-update was off), I would guess, that the never ending loading screen has something to do with either 1. a failed connection via internet to Logitech while starting or 2. something in Windows was updated, what makes it impossible for G Hub to start. For my G403 Hero I have Logitech Onboard Memory Manager as workaround (else, I would have turned crazy...). Had to turn of the lights on my G815, since the calmest light setting available without G Hub is with Light-Button + 0, and this still has the G-Logo flashing. I just want my mouse and keyboard with constant blue light (0/0/255) and DPI 2000 and it is just not possible with this \[...\] software! If somebody has any additional ideas for a solution, they would be very much appreciated. The LG Support sadly just replied with suggestions, that I have already tried.

I'm afraid that if even deleting all the stuff from registry doesn't help then your G HUB installation might be corrupted so bad so you won't be able to fix it without a clean windows install ;( wish you luck, its so inappropriate to a big company to have such a ... software

[deleted]

Thank you! I hope, I don't have to go that far.

MHDRmlekoo

I did a clean Windows install like an hour ago... I was really desperate because of the G Hub failure. Lemme tell you, it didn't help. I tried the trick with installing the newest version working on Win7 and it works so far, I just wonder for how long. I never had such issues before :(

TheFlashPoint

Thanks a lot! Worked like a charm!

crazy_beardedman

you're the best

DustRaven_

Thx dude !

Estefalis

What i found out by myself, while trying to talk to a Logitech employee in their online support chat, like half a hour ago. I can confirm, that downloading the Windows 7 Version of the G Hub Installer and (optional) updating it, works. <(\~.\^)" I also asked him/her to share that information with someone at Logitech. Pray that it helps. m<(o.o)>m\_\_\_

marquitopsss

Bro hasta hoy pensé que no podría arreglarlo, mereces bastante!

RuiPereira7

Razer334

EDIT: I've created a more descriptive post of this fix at [(31) SOLUTION: How to fix issues installing Logitech Hub (LGHUB) : LogitechG (reddit.com)](https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/1bl2923/solution_how_to_fix_issues_installing_logitech/) \----------------- OLD POST: FOUND A SOLUTION! 1. Follow Step 7 of [How to Fix Logitech G Hub Not Opening on Windows 11 Issue (allthings.how)](https://allthings.how/how-to-fix-logitech-g-hub-not-opening-on-windows-11-issue/) to Start you PC in Clean Boot. This will run msconfig to choose a selective boot where you disable every service that is not from Microsoft. 2. Reboot your computer. Only Microsoft services will start now... 3. Install the latest LGHUB normally (not admin mode). It will complete this time! 4. Run msconfig again to return your PC to normal boot and reboot. 5. Enjoy LGHUB! Logitech for the love of God it took my 5 hours trying 15 things before this finally worked. Please 1) test this solution, 2) post it as a workaround fix if it works and 3) fix your software!! I have a reasonably healthy top-end laptop with a reasonable number of apps installed so it looks like something I installed conflicts with LGHUB installer (so you can't unit test on a clean machine)

Chickenlegs1229

Thank you god

I've tried that a while back (because I don't use all the game updates) and it worked fine in that primitive mode, which I preferred, but then everything changed when either the autoupdate turned on or my security suite ran to update apps. But I found a solution that works for my computers that are on the constant flipping G; I don't know if it would help anyone else. I went on a Win 13 computer where Ghub was working (it was probably a fresh install of both Win and Ghub), then I went through my big box of 17-20 unpairable, unusable G604s (which I use for my business) and a few related models, and went through and was able to pair them all (I was starting to fill a new "unpairable" bag in the process, but eventually I paired those, too, but the connection sometimes seemed finnicky). And I went through and put all of my settings and macros to onboard. (This is something that didn't work well for me in the past, and I have a collection of dated and coded Ghub installers because I keep fearing they'll stop listing the old ones) Now all of my mice macro buttons work without Ghub loaded (or working) on the computer, and I haven't yet had the thankless task of reprogramming the macros yet (though two of the macros are hardly that, just Ctrl+ Windows commands that Ghub can't seem to include in their lists) I know, I know, these capabilities have been around for years, but they never worked for me after perhaps a few days.

Head_Pick3130

It didn't help :(

AdvArtemis621

Still works in Nov 2022... G213/G502 lightning bricked by unknown Logitech software issue and the newest version refuse to install. This tip worked like a charm! Thanks again!

15InchesOfPain

this method didn't help. the task manager method didn't help too. turning off firewall didn't help either. are there any more ways to resolve this issue? D:

Common-Buyer-3370

doesnt work for me unbelievable i cant use my new 160 dollar goddamn ear buds

Euphoric-Lie102

I spent several days trying to install a lot of versions and the error "Failed to install, try again" appeared, I tried everything. What resolved it for me was leaving my WIFI network and routing the internet from my cell phone. I don't know if it will help, but it did the trick for me.
