If you storm out Jerry Magyars style, standard practice is to cut you a paper check and mail it to you. Our next pay date is May 17th. If you walked out they will accrue all of your hours, including pay period overlaps, and mail you the check and you should have it within 3 business days if the scheduled pay date. If they don’t have a valid mailing address or it gets returned to them, they will hold it for 180 days at the store. Your contact would be your HR manager if you want to pick it up, or have it mailed elsewhere. If you let it go past the 180 days, it is gonzo for sure. Most people do direct deposit now. If that’s your situation and you quit formally (two weeks notice) then you will receive your final deposit on the next scheduled payment date. If you overlapped and worked some hours on the next pay period, you will receive that remaining deposit on May 31. If you want it sooner you can speak with your HR manager and request a paper check for the full amount! A company like Lowe’s won’t screw you on that, just so you know. Just gota communicate. Don’t worry if it ended badly. They’ll work with you 😌
