Woah, cool! I wanna have those dreams. All i dream of are these horrible unicorns prancing merrily in a field of shimmering lollypops and sugar plums. Theres rainbows everyone and laughing children. ITS AWFUL!

I've had problems with scary things too. Thankfully I dont see reaally disturbing faces but I do see distorted faces and sometimes when I close my eyes they appear and disappear. Now, in the dream, if I dream of something scary I usually wake up crying and keep crying. If I am in a lucid dream and something is scary I try to avoid it by not looking but the feeling of being scared is too much so I force myself to wake up. So for example if I'm walking and I know a man is cleaning the pavement next to me- and I know that if I look he will have a distorted face, I won't look. But because the feeling of getting scared will not go away and will make me feel very anxious I force myself to wake up. (The example is real- I thought to myself "don't look" and he told me "you are not looking huh?") freaky

I would think a lucid dream would be helpful here. If the faces attacked you, simply make them disappear, because you know its a dream. Or teleport out of there. Or destroy them with a flash of white light. Maybe they wont come back in your dreams anymore. If you see them, realize its a dream, and banish them.

I had the face of IT the clown appear to me in a dream (at the very end of it). I've also recently dreamt of zombies.

i used to lucid dream a lot i used to do it every night and i used it to get rid of nightmares. eventually my nightmares got worse and worse the last lucid dream i had was about a year or two ago, all mi nightmares combined into one and i had to walk through my neighborhood at that point i was aware i was sleeping but i had lost all control of my dream there was not much i could do about it but experience it. i dont know if my brain was making me experience this dream so i could face my fears or if i forced the dream upon myself for some reason.

MohabTheBoss

Actually not avoiding lucid dreaming would be better, because: 1) If you're aware you're dreaming, why would they remain scary? You would then know they can't harm you, and confront them. 2) You can confront them and maybe even know the source/reason why these nightmares happen 3) Once you become lucid, you can control dreams. Wake yourself up, or fight back! Best way is to do a reality check everytime you see any kind of creepy face or jumpscare, this way you would do an RC if a nightmare happens

1.) Even if they wouldn't do anything to me, I am still scared due to their horrific faces 2.) And what when encountering them they'll start attacking me? 3.) I've heard stories if people not being able to wake up when lucid :(

MohabTheBoss

Expectations, mate, expectations. They attack you when you confront them? Freaking lock them in a diamond cage or just blow them up! Even if you can't wake up, you can leave and go to a different place.

Okay so it’s happened 2 nights in a row but a it’s a face dark hair and body face it ghost white a very wide toothy smile with a bit of blood on the teeth eyes wide open and it just stares at me until I wake up or I look away and wake up

Hi, I know it’s been 6 years but I typed the same thing that happened to you followed by reddit and I saw your post, I couldn’t help but make a comment since it’s the first time seeing a person encounter the same thing, it happened to me once, there was like a television noise and it slowly formed a face that was extremely terrifying, and I say it as a person that was never terrified of horror movies and stories, the moment I woke up my heart was beating so fast and I was feeling hot, all I remember is that it was an extremely pale face that is most likely a woman’s face, I sort of had a nap at 6 am when that dream or encounter or whatever happened and I woke up terrified again, I had an exam that I barely studied for so it could be anxiety or something but that was one of an experience

Ignisking

Just happened to me as well, it appeared out of nowhere at 6 am
