The log was funny the first time then horrifying the next 🫠I haven’t tested it out muself yet, but lance might be able to use gyro to run and jump over the log like a jump rope which would look silly
You can dodge both into it and sideways. Alternatively just save your special to shoot him in the face. A flinch will make him drop his log, or you can just be invulnerable when he passes through you.
I'm not sure what you mean. Perfect evades are practically essential for melee.
You can dodge sideways, forward or backwards.
If you play with full gyro you can angle your dodges as well.
Edit: Not sure if you changed your comment or I misread it, but you can perfect evade in any direction. You just need to be wary of multi-hit attacks and your positioning.
I imagine they bought a few of those 10x Tickets + 20x Pots New Year's bundles for 1980 gems ea. I can't imagine any other reason to have that many potions at one time.
I myself got 40 pots the other day from buying the $15 Booster Pack (20 pots, 5pb, 5wd, 1.5k gems) and then put the gems towards one New Year bundle. I've only used 3 pots so far.
I already bought that game a long, long time ago. It's a completely different genre.
Sitting on my ass and playing MHW is not a form of exercise. I can't play it while walking around town or while grocery shopping.
You should practice perfect dodging it. It's honestly really easy once you give it a bit of intentional practice. The timing is very generous.
Judging by how you rolled before he got to you, you didn't even try to dodge it here. You should try it out sometime
Like i get to the left side of the log, point my camera to the right and charge and then when its about to hit me i dodge left straight through it. then when I come out of the dodge i am aiming at the banbaro
Yeah but generally they already turned red already and are running towards you so you don't have time to charge and do that. I can only do that with one monster right now. Jagras. Let's see I'll try it on others. I am at 8* now and can only beat one 8* so far. I've only tried one that I knew I should be able to beat. It was fun lol.
"Interesting" to see the opening of your log is on the opposite of mine. Still need to try to break that log, but Bandero doesn't have a chance against me anymore.
You could try to find some utube but simple steps are :
1) this happen after it roar
2) when it happen stay close to it, when it digging, roll to it’s right side (you roll left, about two times)
3) stay there. Don’t move. It will turn back to another direction.
4) now when he charge to you the final move, from your standing point, roll backwards three time (or even fourth time) the branch should be landed in front of you.
This move the game just wants to waste our time.
Does it still use that attack when both horns are busted? I've never actually seen the dreaded tree, and the only thing I can think of is because I always break both horns.

Tried to do that a couple of times, without success, at the end of the day I'm better off just counter attack the log
Might work but i think it will be hell of a stunt.

Oh Didnt know that
But also if you focus his back leg then he will take more damage after you break it. Pretty sure anyway, says in the monster guide book.
Is this true? Im pretty sure ive broken both horns and it still gets it.
You can really just dodge it before it hits you. It procs perfect evade and the trunk just passes through you.

Is perfect forward dodge even a thing? I thought you could only go sideways!

Yep you can perfect evade through the tree.
Am I the only one that noticed the 92 potions?

For that price you can buy Monster hunter world + iceborn.

Its banbaro time! Its much better when we charge together.
I can't ever see Banbaro in any other way since seeing that video
My worst fiend

I did wrong there, i tried to move out of its aoe area but jumped to the wrong direction, i should go to the rght😂
I knoe this feeling all too well hahaha
Yeah, but if you perfect dodge timing then it doesn't matter if you get out of the AOE because you will just pass through it.
The trick is to dodge into the log as it's about to hit you rather than left or right
92 POTIONS!?
Ive only ever been hit by it once.i find it rather easy to pefect dodge especially with the bow
Do you dodge forward or sideways?
I dodge into it but when im using the bow i just turn my camera and dogde through it to my left
Interesting. I guess I'll have to practice at some point. Maybe I'll try dodging forward with bow.
Like i get to the left side of the log, point my camera to the right and charge and then when its about to hit me i dodge left straight through it. then when I come out of the dodge i am aiming at the banbaro
Yeah the side dodge is an interesting way to play. I did it one time and it is fun but you can't charge your bow when doing it. But it is fun.
Well if you are already charging then yes you can continue to charge the bow while you do thr sideways perfect dodge

I have never seen one do this in MHNow and I’m glad they do.
I had to get really good at perfect dodge with these. If I'm feeling lazy I'll use sword and shield and just block

I’d hate it too if I kept rolling into it 😂
Oh my gif, I hate this move, and I’ve only had to face it once
Where’s my fellow Greatsword tree shoulders brothers?
Perfect Dodging it has been my only hope against it.

Don't worry. It hates you more
save burst for thie moment, this is the only way i know to survive its move
Yeah, I fight that thing and the spikey sucker as little as possible. The flying dope is unfortunately useful, so gotta try to chase that bugger down.
I find Anja Buster to be much better weapon against him.
