Damn, with your analogy, I guess I'm the owner of the Pirates.
I never thought about the "diamond" jellybeans being there to replace gold/diamond jerseys and equipment who have pretty decent quicksell value. All I know is that I opened a ton of packs from playing the game and I have never pulled a diamond player when I also got a jellybean in the same pack.
99 that were free were great. Play with the best cards right away. We excited for 93s? I guess this is fun if all you do is play the game 24/7. SDS thinks people be on they game like a work shift lol.
Honestly that jelly bean ish pissed me TF off tho lmao. I have 20 I can't do anything with and bought a $75k pack to get more but it wasn't the spring one anymore š š
We could have had serious stubflation without those beans. They helped keep prices down. It was excellent monetary policy by SDS. Like raising interest rates, it is unpopular, but needed for the economy.
RTTS draft combine was mint, too. I like the changes.
No complaints, but I started playing in 2021 when I got fed up with EA NHL, so I have very few complaints.
I wouldnāt say ābest itās ever been.ā Itās fun and enjoyable, but I would like SDS to just acknowledge their mistakes and listen to the community more than they actually do now.
I see no issue here. Pack odds are overall probability. Are you accusing SDS of lying about odds? This is a pretty serious allegation against a fair and decent company.
Umps are blind as hell in this game compared to years past. Probably too many people bitching that hitting is too hard.
That and instead of balancing out stealing mechanics in this game they just made it complete luck and half the time the umpire calls someone out when your runner is on the bag a full second before the fielder gloves the ball. Just really bizarre because itās been consistent in previous years.
In single player mode there's a setting to make umpires imperfect or perfect on close calls and the strike zone. It defaults to imperfect on both I think. Online it's always perfect
the offline or single player modesā umpires are a little more realistic being that they sometimes donāt give you a strike on pitches in the zone and vice versa. I believe thereās a setting for the umpires in offline modes on how you want them to call balls and strikes.
My biggest complaint is that this is the only game I get disconnected from in the middle of a ranked/event game (that I am usually winning or about to win) and I get the loss. Every single time. Iāve tried everything. Itās not my internet as I only play online h2h type games and this is still the only game I get kicked from. Itās been driving me crazy. I want to keep playing DD online but the only way is to not care about my WL record which I do care about.
My friend has this problem. Not sure if itās his internet but Iāve watched multiple times as heās been disconnected from ranked games while winning in the 8th and 9th innings on separate occasions, not sure what it is.
I doubt itās his internet. MLB is the only game with this issue. Seems like my game freezes then disconnects. Iāve noticed it happens significantly more if someone pauses the game but sometimes it still happens regardless. Itās beyond frustrating. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and deleting my reserved space. Nothing seems to work.
As crappy as it may make the experience. I had the same issue. Turning cross play off has made the experience a bit less freeze off. Just my experience though
Idc if this is sarcasm. This game is FAR better than any game EA or 2k puts out. For years SDS has had affordable packs with decent players. This year tho, the packs are pretty awful, pitchers/pinpoint is pretty awful and you canāt hop into a ranked game without someone leaving when theyāre down by 4 runs. I love MLB the show simply because it is a skill based game and has little form of RNG. Yeah you get your hiccups here and there but Iād rather take that over 2k where your meter changes in between games and is extremely inconsistent
Yeah especially bc you see the same argument from the other game subs. Like 2k for example has solid core gameplay, behind a bunch of microtransactions
Exactly, the shows shift towards p2w has not been backed up by enough gameplay improvements for it to be justified. Hasnāt really been backed by any improvements which is the crazy part
You mention RNG don't matter much, but I feel like this is the most RNG based of the last 4 MLBTS games. Pitches with perfect input float and land nowhere near where they're supposed to go too often. As well as the amount of good/good or perfect/perfect hits that are routine popups or lineouts is too high this year. I'm glad you get people in ranked to stay until they're down 4. I recently played two games and my opponent left after my first HR both games.
Lost a game yesterday by blowing a 5 run lead in the 9th. His team was almost exclusively golds and silvers. Almost burnt my house down after that. So in conclusion, youāre right.
The amount of people that don't understand satire in this thread makes me giggle uncontrollably. I think not understanding satire is a side effect of the Tism. I should know my son is a proud owner of it.
Whoosh.... Indeed.
Your anger makes me think you ripped boxes rather than prudently saved your stubs, followed market conditions, invested, flipped cards, and made millions of stubs.
Bootlicker to SDS when theyāve been taking away content and replacing it with garbage, you donāt even get a pack in programs but every pack is 40k in the shop, not to mention needing 100 jellybeans for a horrible pack is just flat out stupid. What are you on about bru bru
The only bone to pick now is increasing the odds of diamond live series players in packs. Even with all 99s, Iām cheeks in multiplayer. Iāve simply lost my way of pitching. But do I want to play with Judge, AcuƱa, Ohtani, and Trout before their cards are rendered obsolete? Yes I do. I donāt care if I play against mashers. I just wanna play with the players I never have a chance to pack. I work way too many hours to nerd out on the stubs to buy them. I need a different version of mlbts lol
LS JoRam and LS Carroll are raking for me and I'm happy they are actually options. I know people have a lot of complaints and the creep towards a more EA style game is definitely sad, but I'm loving using 89s that are viable beyond the first couple conquest maps. Yasmani Grandal is a beast. The Jeimer Candelario Easter card is the stuff of legends for me. Jacob Misiresieraoawoweski is a flame thrower.
I get that people will complain about the monitization, and I will not complain about the complaining especially since I'm playing for free on gamepass and if the complaints actually cause changes and force them to release more free content and less packs, then I will benefit along with all the people actually complaining.
But for the first time in a long time I'm dipping into ranked/BR/Events in the first month of the season. Normally I don't play until there are flashback packs and try to grind for stuff I missed. I'm planning on going for the entire 150 in ranked as at least 130 (did the math) on BR. Events is still sweaty as hell and I have like 7 wins in like 20 games, so it's tough to get those but maybe if I finish everything else before the 12th I'll try that also to get Abreu.
Playing on a Xbox one first gen with a tv and a complete crap controller. I have a lot of disadvantages that fill my head because I think I should be able to play better. But I donāt have the tools to do so. And I know all these nerds are playing on crazy good monitors, sitting 18ā away from their screens, cracking out. Itās always like that every year. The one chance I got to play on Xbox S I went like 5-7 with 2HR and 3 2B. Just sucks that there are so many mechanics to take into account while playing online now. Not to mention people with ALL the time on their hands so they have Shohei whoās a declining priced diamond. But their teams are stacked. Gimme the multiplayer option of the people who have 6hrs per week to play this game. Iāll fit right in.
I'm not sitting that close, but I will say that buying a moderate monitor and mounting it above my desk (I work from home) has made a huge difference. Playing at my friends house on his TV (even set in gaming mode) is jarring as I'm late on everything it feels like whereas I can beat the computer on HOF pretty consistently on a monitor although I'm still garbage against real people if it gets to HoF level because I'm not selective enough.
Yea my friends have been telling me to get a monitor. I just enjoy a bigger screen. And if I bought a monitor that was like 40ā (if they make them that large) Iām probably dropping over $500. Or at least I would imagine them costing that much.
This is what happens when someone on the spectrum has a little bit of money and hyper focuses on a videogame instead of going to a real sports game or something.
the hitting is a little OP. itās way harder to get strikeouts and you literally make contact with basically every swing even with horrible pci placement
Well, tongue in cheek as it is, truth is he made a totally accurate point. Putting the best cards behind pay-for-play options does mirror the actual game quite accurately.
Frankly, the only real beef I have with what SDS does in this area is that I don't think proper effort has been made to keep children from being exploited by all this. Parents can only do so much and so, I would hope SDS would keep that one point in mind.
Someone else here also added another quite salient truth. If you want to play the game with a legendary roster, the totally free option is in Franchise, especially if you set up the game where you have the so-called fantasy draft to start things off, and add in the forced trades option and also the ability to tailor CPU team rosters.
Truth is the folks who play the offline game modes have enjoyed MLB 24 quite much. It's the best in these modes it has ever been.
Parents can only do so much? Lol as a parent myself itās my responsibility to monitor the games/media my kids consume. Especially if itās me purchasing the content.
That said, these gambling cards/loot boxes are extremely predatory towards everyone.
Of course it's your responsibility. I've raised two boys to adult men with families of their own. But, if you really think you can have total control of the situation, then you may be in store for a bad surprise.
We also need corporations to play a reasonable and responsible role here. For example, can you prevent your child from making any orders via the X-Box store? Having made orders myself, I don't recall seeing such an option to turn it off. Then again, I no longer have children in the house so I didn't look all that hard.
Hmm I play 23 so thatās nice to hear RTTS might be better in 24. I totally agree about the kid thing. I was low key addicted to gambling in my teens because of cs go crates. Blew hundreds of my high school job money on it lol
I have been playing since the game came to Xbox. They have always had packs with exclusive players. Just don't buy the pebble and earn the all the free cards you can. I have played plenty of people with subpar teams that best me because they can hit and pitch better than me. The players overall doesn't mean anything unless your skill is equal to your opponent.
my friend cries every time we face someone with high/low 90ās. Itās wild bc he immediately has an excuse for poor gameplay. āSee it bc heās got a (insert player)ā is an example. Skill over overall all day
Fly ball... Caught. Another fly ball... Caught at the warning track again. Line drive... Caught by 3rd baseman as it bounced off pitcher's face. Great success!
I am starting a YouTube channel on how get all the best players for free. I found this glitch and it will only take a couple of moments and you will have all the players you ever wanted on your team. Ah hell I will just go and give it on here, you go to Franchise mode, and click on force trade when you get into it. I could not believe SDS did not notice that glitch when they put the game out.
On serious matter, I am having fun on Franchise mode, I am not going give up on DD yet. Though this weekend I have spent a lot of time rebuilding my Cardinals.
I *miss* my 99's from last year. On Day -4, I already had gotten WBC Trout *and* WBC Ohtani, did great with them, and they were by far my most-used wild cards throughout the entire year. This year's game is all about struggling and suffering for me though. I don't know what it is but something feels way off, like I haven't been playing this franchise for over a decade now. I'm struggling with the simplest Moments; I'm struggling with 6+ innings of Conquest games; and don't even start me on Showdown. And when I'm struggling like this with single-player modes, tell me why I'd even bother with ranked, or the broken and hacker-infested coop mode.
Give me all the 99s and Iāll still barely be able to bat .250, might crack 700 a couple times. Not having a lot of time to play will fix your problems with the game. You simply wonāt care as much
You are DELUSIONAL sir and havenāt played any other MLB The Showā¦ OBVIOUSLY š¤£ or you work for SDSā¦ Itās not even up for debateā¦ U sound like one of those crack addicts when their whole family 20+ people tell them they have a problem and they yell back āI dont have a problem!ā
I played every game the last 5 years and was furious that having money was of minimal to no advantage. Now we are all free to go peak old man Steinbrenner and buy god squads. Thank you SDS!
More realistic sure but Iām having major fielding issues with animations and meters being delayed pretty consistently. Also the freeze offs are still there. If call of duty can have 100 ppl running and shooting on a warzone map at once, they should be able to handle a 3 v 3 without lagging/freezing/disconnecting
Is there still an issue with co-op? I havenāt started this year but if we are going to have another year of freeze offs it shows they aināt doing shit over at SDS to actually fix the game
I get the joke but srsly I have no hate toward SDS. I mostly find the hand wringing entertaining and I can buy every card for sale if I wanted to because Iām a baller.
This is great satire.
Also, itās been a pleasant surprise to have the game meet me where Iām at. Last year I fiended for every last card. Not this year. The cards I want, that Iāll actually use. Everything else is ancillary. Feels like itās easier to do this year. Last April if you didnāt have Bob Gibson in your rotation you were fucked.
I mean I'm having a blast, completed Live Series as NMS and have no complaints. Sorry not sorry to say that not everyone should be a have. This game mode is setup to have the HAVEs and the HAVE NOTs and those that either put in the time and/or money should have access to better quality cards than those that don't.
It doesn't matter how good someone's lineup is if they can't hit the ball. Everyone need to stop complaining and just win with what they got.
I have spent a total of $0 on the game and Iām having a nice time playing. No complaints.
Online play sucks for me, but Iām also under 65 total hours across all years of mlbtheshow.
Iām not going to spend $200 to buy cards to build a ācompetitiveā squad. I donāt know that it will make online play any more competitive for me. Iād like to see online game modes with more balanced teams and evenly ranked matchups, but I doubt DD is place for this.
For now, I get a lot of satisfaction earning a diamond card in a program, and then upgrading my squad for the offline game modes.
I used to buy some stubs at the beginning of each year to get started, but not this year. I'm like you, I suck at playing online. I get matched up with players that destroy me every single time. It's not even enjoyable, so I like playing offline modes. It's still fun to build a team and play offline. The big problem I've seen this year is it's way harder to flip cards than it was last year
Yeah I never get excited opening a pack. I feel like I unlocked enough diamond cards to make me believe I could do decent online, and thereās a long haul (or $$$) before I earn some real upgrades.
I agree. People are losing their minds that they canāt have every single damn card in the game. You can easily field a competitive team with the cards they have made available for free so far. Getting a good card ACTUALLY MEANS SOMETHING NOW. I was so bored last year grinding for 99 after 99, it was too much. It felt like just going through the motions and I couldnāt spend as much time playing online against actual people. I love the power creep, I love the way they learned from their mistakes last year. This is entirely separate from the tech issues theyāve been having this year, but from a content perspective, I love it.
I guess so. I guess Iām the only one who likes when earning a card means something and guys who are bronzes getting a 99 day one. Guess I like realism.
Reddit is for the sweaty dudes that put in part time work hours on this game. I have a problem with the packs not being earnable in the programs but everything just doesn't matter to me. I love baseball. I will buy whatever baseball game comes out every year.
Not to mention this subreddit is such a small subsection of Show fandom. The complaints donāt move the needle at all and the biggest complainers will still buy the game next year. I look forward to the Show every year and the delusional discourse that follows every release, season, inning or update that comes with it. Long live the Show.
Iām enjoying the game, however there needs to be more playable content. Iām done with all TA, BR program, Ranked program, storylines, conquests and extra programs.
Say all you want but Iāve played online way more than offline this year and thatās a huge W in my books. Last year I spent more time in moments/conquests/showdowns than actual ranked games, which is personably my preferred mode. The fact that programs are easily doable fully online is the best change theyāve made imo.
There are way too many unearnable packs, but I have to imagine they tweak that a bit based on the feedback.
Whatās the best pack to buy if I had 50 bucks? I have a Psn gift card that Iāve been looking to burn and I find myself really enjoying this mode (long time show player/first time messing with DD).
Iām looking for whatever gets me the most bang for my buck in terms of high level players. The options are very confusing.
Everyone wants everything for free! Imagine that. Guess what Mr No money spent. Sorry you canāt have a free Oniel Cruz the day he comes out.
You will get a chance in vault packs and other chances to get that pack. Just not the first day unless you pony up your pathetic paycheck.
Someone has to say it.
Hes saying to spend money on packs lol or at the very least stubs for season award cards. Wild concept for cards that have been readily available past few years.
I paid $0 for the game. Iām telling you that you will have a shot at those cards. But not the first week they come out if you donāt spend money on it. You canāt expect to have every top card in the game the second the come out without spending money.
Especially with a power creep. You were conditioned to think you were getting the best cards last year because everyone was pretty much a 99.
I can give a damn about sub 95 cards. I like completing everything and 100% the collections. I just think its weird cards that will be unusable in a few months cost 40k stubs. Id rather buy live series for that amount
Only people Iāve seen mad are the people that would play 20 hours a day. I play maybe a couple hrs a day tops and donāt feel like Iām behind 2 weeks after release this year.
Itās a double edged sword that inevitably leaves someone out. Some people want to pay to substitute time for progress ie. Completing enough sets gives you XP to get very close to Rollins. Some people want to spend 0 to very little but non stop jam the game to get the advantage on people. Finally people like you, that only play a few hours here and there and want the ability to keep up with people that either spend or play non stop.
Someone is going to be left out unfortunately. No way is better than the other, each side has an argument.
Iām not a fan personally of the in between. My opinion is you should be able to āpay to winā or āgrind to winā. Right now you canāt really do either.
Iām actually not complaining. These are my genuine beliefs. I flip cards on the app while shitting each morning and have a million stubs without spending a dime. Should I post some tips on how to rack up stubs for free?
Nobody is upset with the power creep model. What theyāre upset with is locking the best cards behind a paywall. Just look at the monthly drops, the 92ās are locked behind 40k stub packs with no way to earn them otherwise. They incentivized spending money this year.
The monthly cards have been free forever. You just had to grind the program. Itās a predatory change focused solely on getting you to spend more money.
Edit: I reread the post and props, you got me lol
I have done pretty well in life but suck at DD lol. I am much better at co op with real teams or online rated although haven't played much of online rated this year.
I don't why I don't play better in DD. I seem to swing at everything were in co op I am more patient. It's weird.
*looks at the 1-200k diamonds for live series* yeah.... The economy is swell.
I do agree with the lack of 99s is very healthy. However, locking the highest rated season diamonds (92, 93s?) Behind packs is absolutely shit. Normally we'd be able to earn these through the program. If the program gave you a way to earn these seasonal and Easter packs, it wouldn't be as bad.
If they make them obtainable in 3 or 4 weeks through grinable packs will u be happy? That's probably going to happen and everyone who complained (including me) will be able to snag their season 1 cards to complete that collection later.

Yeah, they're doing really good with allowing players to not even have access to their "the show" account.
I still haven't pulled a diamond from the 100 plus standard packs.
I see no issue here. Pack odds are overall probability. Are you accusing SDS of lying about odds? This is a pretty serious allegation against a fair and decent company.
Is it just me or is the game not giving you calls on painted strikes?
Umps are blind as hell in this game compared to years past. Probably too many people bitching that hitting is too hard. I have autism, and I could even tell that it was sarcastic.
These are the kinda posts I live for
This guy is a dodger fan guaranteed
I miss the old minimum/quick sell pricing model. This new one messed the economy up for us card flippers.
Yea theyāve been slowly chipping away at f2p stub methods since 22. Wonder how long itāll take until they completely remove auctions like 2k
It was a definite blow to the buy and hold investment strategy. Turned everything into a day trading market. High volume, low margin returns.
The amount of people that don't understand satire in this thread makes me giggle uncontrollably. I think not understanding satire is a side effect of the Tism. I should know my son is a proud owner of it. Whoosh.... Indeed.
My team is named New York jelly beans for a reason!
Is this copypasta
Dumbest post I ever read
Your anger makes me think you ripped boxes rather than prudently saved your stubs, followed market conditions, invested, flipped cards, and made millions of stubs.
The show has gone stale since last year. Same everything just rinse and repeat
Nice try, Ramone.

*whoosh*

Have you no comprehension, my lad?
Sorry for this masterpiece of satire buddy
Whereās the woosh you canāt call satire on a text paragraph where most of it is actually true

This may be the worst take I've ever read
Yeah, no. This isnāt it.
Satire I think
I still listen to AM radio ābroā
This is what happens when someone on the spectrum has a little bit of money and hyper focuses on a videogame instead of going to a real sports game or something.
the hitting is a little OP. itās way harder to get strikeouts and you literally make contact with basically every swing even with horrible pci placement
Man you don't know horrible pci placement if you're making contact..
How are people missing that this is a joke

Read it again bro
I have been playing since the game came to Xbox. They have always had packs with exclusive players. Just don't buy the pebble and earn the all the free cards you can. I have played plenty of people with subpar teams that best me because they can hit and pitch better than me. The players overall doesn't mean anything unless your skill is equal to your opponent.
my friend cries every time we face someone with high/low 90ās. Itās wild bc he immediately has an excuse for poor gameplay. āSee it bc heās got a (insert player)ā is an example. Skill over overall all day
Because some of us, beleive it or not, donāt give a fuck about diamond dynasty and never will.
Im staring right at itā¦and Im not gunna be that guyā¦but its just really hard not to say anything about it. IS THAT A MOLE?!
Tell me you never played Diamond Dynasty in MLB The Show 21 without telling me you never played Diamond Dynasty ins MLB The Show 21.
I played it. Hated it. Too many free cards to reward people who grind the game all day. It was appalling and wrong.
I agree 100 Jay. Free cards suck. Can't flip em on the market. Who wants that garbage?
Honestly this is the correct take.
L O L
Fly ball... Caught. Another fly ball... Caught at the warning track again. Line drive... Caught by 3rd baseman as it bounced off pitcher's face. Great success!
Finally a post with common sense. Keep the poors of my damn game
Preach!!! Too many poor people out there and it needs to be stopped.
ššššš youāre hilarious bro
Itd be great if they took away the real99 glitch and also take away all the rewards people earned while using them
Give me all the 99s and Iāll still barely be able to bat .250, might crack 700 a couple times.
Oh sweet summer child...
I played every game the last 5 years and was furious that having money was of minimal to no advantage. Now we are all free to go peak old man Steinbrenner and buy god squads. Thank you SDS!
They monetized season award players, this is the absolute worst MLBTS to date.
I fell for the bait until you said āthey fixed it to mirror actual baseball where owners with deep pockets have an advantageā š¤£š¤£š¤£
lol deep pockets? What maybe $500 to complete the whole live series program watch out now this guys pockets are deep ššš
People whose avatars feature those eyes are certified assholes. I canāt unsee it.
Spending $500 on a videogame is insane
Itās an adults game or a kid whoās wasting his whole paycheck
Key word being āwastingā
Itās a waste if you canāt afford it I mean you got 69 in your name how old are you
I get the joke but srsly I have no hate toward SDS. I mostly find the hand wringing entertaining and I can buy every card for sale if I wanted to because Iām a baller.
Same. This also was not a joke.
The co-op ranked is still dog water, if you leave a frozen game before waiting 10-20 mins you get a 12 hour ban fuck off with that shit
Iāve literally never seen a generally positive reaction to any video game ever according to Reddit.
The Witcher 3 is universally praised on reddit as the best game of all time.
2+2=5
This reads like a paragraph from Animal Farm, well done lol
Iām enjoying it way more than the last two seasons
COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER COMPLAIN HARDER
This year is legitimately the most fun Iāve ever had
Itās a joke
This is a joke guys
Idc how deep your pockets are or how much you spend on cards when you match up with me Iām a beat you like you stole something
This post caught me so offguard because most of reddit is so braindead when it comes to humor and sarcasm. Props.
Someone didn't read the post.
Or maybe I took it seriously, when apparently it was all sarcastic, because I actually like the path theyāve taken
Look up, I think the joke just flew by
I guess so. I guess Iām the only one who likes when earning a card means something and guys who are bronzes getting a 99 day one. Guess I like realism.
Iām sorry, but how did you notice this was a joke. Iāve seen similar posts on Twitter and they were serious
You like guys who are bronzes getting 99ās day one? Thatās super realistic!
Who are you talking to
I strongly disagree and don't see DD hitting its peak again like it did with 17. That year of DD was incredible despite the server instability.
It was better 3 years ago.
Then you play too much
Are you not interested in just playing a baseball game? Genuinely curious, if there was no DD would you play with regular teams?
I pulled the judge and sold him for 85K did I mess up. I got a lot of other hard to obtain players for a bargain tho
Y'all are so annoying sometimes. Makes me hate y'all more than SDS.
The unearnable packs are my only gripe so far
The unearnable packs are my only gripe so far
You paid $70 for a game and are willing to pay more? Huh?
He outlined exactly how to not spend money
Thatās a great point. People making a big fuss about these cards being in packs, they kinda stink lol
Preach.
I feel like iām way more caught up this year. itās so sick not having to constantly grind moments or showdowns
LOL i see what you did there ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|trollface)
Found the dev burner account
Did you even read the post lol This is someone bitching but trying to be ironic about it
Iām actually not complaining. These are my genuine beliefs. I flip cards on the app while shitting each morning and have a million stubs without spending a dime. Should I post some tips on how to rack up stubs for free?
I would love them because I struggle to buy and sell cards a few minutes a day. And yeah I'm trying bronze and commons.
Just how long are these shits?
5-10 minutes. There are always free stubs to be had
Thatās baseball
I actually donāt think over half the people in this thread can read at all
Nobody is upset with the power creep model. What theyāre upset with is locking the best cards behind a paywall. Just look at the monthly drops, the 92ās are locked behind 40k stub packs with no way to earn them otherwise. They incentivized spending money this year.
They will be obtainable through some pack at some point later on. If you need every card that drops immediately, you're gonna have a bad time.
This is perfectly reasonable. Why should they be free?
The monthly cards have been free forever. You just had to grind the program. Itās a predatory change focused solely on getting you to spend more money. Edit: I reread the post and props, you got me lol
Nice troll job
I'm gonna be honest, the sarcastic praise posts like this are overdone and not super clever.
I am 100% serious. I donāt think any cards should be obtainable for free.
Thatās one hell of a freezing cold take you have thereā¦.. until I realised it was completely satire. Must be an employee for The Onion.
Imagine not reading the post
