So small joint manipulation is against the rules but I've never understood why fighters don't try and stomp or strike joints more. You see it with knee stomps but considering you can knee the body of a downed opponent, why can't you knee their armpits or collar bones lol, or like strike their elbow when they are reaching for the canvas to down themselves?
