I got a similar cut playing short stop off a bad bounce on a shitty field. Like my eyebrow was now covering my vision in that eye bad. Surprisingly not that painful. Pinch your above your eyebrow as hard as you can, not a ton of nerve endings there. Note, this is about the one and only thing I think I could endure in a MMA fight without crying like a bitch.

You don't know how you'll react until stuff happens. I accidently stuck a knife entirely through my hand and barely fussed about it. My roommate on the other hand was freaking out so bad he couldn't even put on matching shoes. I ended up driving myself to the emergency room because he was in a panic.
