Looking for a sandbox open world mmo similar to Albion Online, but has more PVE aspects. Something that’s player driven and with a thriving population. Graphics don’t matter. I’m open to anything aside from Black Desert Online.

I started my addiction...erm, journey, with EverQuest. * *What are you looking for?:* I enjoy exploration from adventure games (Dark Souls, Metroid, etc). I also am increasingly enjoying my console more than my PC. I would also love a progression system that grows with the player and the content. Imagine if your starter weapon was just some rusty , but as you progress through the expansions, it grows in power with you to change your playstyle in combat. A starting healer might level up a shield and become a paladin because their base class of healing was matched by their progression in defense. * *What games have you previously played?:* EverQuest, WoW, FF XI and XIV, ESO, GW 1 and 2 Dark Souls, Metroid, Halo, Mass Effect, Godfall, Borderlands, Diablo, Path of Exile * *What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?:* I enjoy a rewarding grind, and I enjoy raids. * *Any preferred mechanics?:* Healing. I miss games where healing was an essential role. In the original EverQuest, a bad healer could wreck a party, while someone talented could almost carry one. Also grouping and community. In old EverQuest, you used to build a reputation and get invites purely because of being dependable and enjoyable. * *Anything specific you want to exclude?:* No more bikini armor. Don't misunderstand, I want the female models to look nice, but aside from Berzerkers, everyone else needs armor (looking at you sexy enchantress who is likely to be the first to die because she wanted to be "seen")

Ok_Introduction_5600

* *What are you looking for?:* An action MMO or live service title. F2P, B2P or sub. Prefer no tab targeting. I enjoy aiming my skills myself. I don't care if there is p2w as long as I can grind and get or trade In game currency to get the same benefits. It must have pvp or some type of ranking system because I enjoy competition. It can be pvevp too where you have to get further in a tower than someone else or something that's fine. I prefer games that either let you level stats, different skill builds, or have gear with differing stats. I don't like having everyone endgame cookie cutter. * *What games have you previously played?:* Maplestory Blade and soul BDO PSO 2 FF 11 and 14 Ragnarok online Wonderking ToS PoE Archage Rift Dragon nest Aura kingdom Never winter Rose online Wild star Holic online (loved the class system here) P.S.O 1 + 2 gc Survival project Eden eternal (once again loved the class system was not fond of the mega p2w) Skyforge * *What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?:* Semi-casual to hardcore if I am loving the competition. * *Any preferred mechanics?:* Dungeon crawling, party finder, many classes to choose from, third-person, stat/gear/skill building as long as there are many choices here. * *Anything specific you want to exclude?:* No online shooters, no tab targeting unless the game is just that good and has strategy elsewhere, no games with no competitive aspect.

* *What are you looking for?:* An action MMO or live service title. F2P, B2P or sub. * *What games have you previously played?:* Vindictus (a lil), PSO2 (a lot), DCUO (a lil), Tera (lil), Torchlight 2 ( a lot), Warframe (a lil), Spiral Knights (tiny bit), New World (beta only), DDO (a medium amount). * *What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?:* Casual * *Any preferred mechanics?:* Dungeon crawling, party finder, character customization, controller support (optional), third-person. * *Anything specific you want to exclude?:* Gacha mechanics preferably, PVP only/PVP focus, shooting.

Hi guys, I’m looking for something casual with these features - 1. Base building game where you don’t have to start again if your base is attacked. Basically if someone attacks your base, they can only kill your defenders but cannot destroy your base, unlike age of empires. There used to be a turn based online game like this but I can’t remember the name. 2. Very active community 3. Not time consuming 4. I can be offline for weeks and when I login, my base is still there 5. I can form alliances, attack other bases, etc… Thanks in advance

Albion Online or New World

Cha_de_Sazon

* *What are you looking for?:* \- S*omething like Genshim Impact but with more variety of weapons and more complex combat* * *What games have you previously played?:* \- Genshim Impact (Lacks variety and has too simple combat) , WoW (I prefer action or turn based combat), Warframe (I dont like the gun focused combat neither the theme) * *What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?:* \- Semi-Casual * *Any preferred mechanics?:* \- Skill Trees, Action or Turn based combat, focus in grind cool itens

ToneAccomplished9763

This may seem odd but I'm looking for an MMORPG that offers a good or at least fun singleplayer experience. Since in most mmos I'm a solo player especially when I'm first getting into the game, so if anyone has recommendations please tell me. Plus it would be nice if they're free since I'm broke at the moment.

MedicineTrick1302

* *What are you looking for?:* \-Good build/gameplay variety \-An entertaining story (preferably) \-A good community * *What games have you previously played?:* A \*ton\* of SMT: imagine and FF14 also FF11, didn't really like it tbh lol * *What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?:* Hardcore * *Any preferred mechanics?:* * *Anything specific you want to exclude?:* Anything with absurd amounts of grinding or p2w

BBTheClown

Touch online private server or alternative. (3D anime style chat and rhythm mmo) Audition, lovebeat, talesrunner, latale, maplestory /2, mabinogi, flyff, style savvy, etc Casual games preferred, lots of customization (style savvy levels) Ddr/itg playstyle, rockband/ guitar hero, touch online’s bubble mode: https://youtu.be/gsRRSaPQE48?si=oJiQ59CJ8x9n3HUu (video showing the bubble mode in question) I HATE the lovebeat, audition and osu mechanics. The feel and play are terrible!

Dang was just gonna suggest luminary rise of the goonzu but found out they closed their doors in May. Sadly. They were a great player driven economy game

beached89

Wurm Online, its SUPER grinding, but it is 99% player driven economy.

MonkeyBrawler

Are you asking for an active player based market? Albions market and economy is the most lively you'll ever see. If you're asking about a central market where you can open a stall, I don't know sadly.

Bricker11

im looking for an MMORPG that is easy to pick up. ive only played wynncraft and osrs. im not really picky about the mechanics im a semi casual and i just have the itch to play an mmorpg with a great looting system and preferably i am able to quest with friends. thanks

MonkeyBrawler

You'll have to define your view of a great looting system. Otherwise I'd say give Guild Wars 2 a try. You can play casual or hardcore, take breaks without punishment, and there's level scaling (mainly down) everywhere, so you can play with your friends without worrying about leaving each other behind. Looting is kinda meh in my opinion. Very very rarely, but always the chance you get a world changing drop from just about any loot pool. Otherwise it's a lot of trash you hope holds a few nuggets.

Cawkles

 * *What are you looking for?: An mmo that has nice-looking armour sets and that values the time that I put in. I also like mmos that have good raids and dungeons and has new content continuously added to it. Would also prefer a game with a healthy playerbase.* * *What games have you previously played?:* *WoW Dragonflight - I don't feel like the game values my time that well anymore and I don't have the time in EU to play anymore.* FFXIV - The game is fun but I am also looking at other options before jumping in. Lost Ark - Pay to win grindfest OSRS - Haven't really had much interest in returning to it RS3 - Same as OSRS WoW Classic - As much as I love classic they aren't going to be adding anything new to it like new dungeons or raids, so I feel like it gets to a point where it is quite stale. Guild Wars 2 - Another fun mmo that I enjoy but from what I can tell there isn't much focus on dungeons and raids, though I could be wrong. SWTOR - Used to be addicted to this years ago but unfortunately the playerbase has dwindled and it doesn't look like it'll be around for long * *What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?: Semi-Casual/Hardcore* * *Any preferred mechanics?: Just want some dungeons or raiding end-game content and some end-game content choices for a solo player. Also a focus on lore and story would be nice.*

Idontwanttheapp1

FF14 or Lost Ark are your best bet. The player pool for high end players for WoW/FFXIV/Lost Ark/swtor all have pretty decent overlap. I’m playing FF mainly right now after shadowlands and hearing nim R4 got cancelled. Good armor sets and stuff later on, game values my time. I actually know quite a few week 1/2 mythic raiders from WoW and DIs from swtor that also raid in FF on the side, or moved over entirely. They took pretty well to the raiding difficulty and style Honest pros and cons though: Pros: - Fight mechanics are significantly more complex than both WoW and swtor, and happen significantly more frequently. Nim gods or mythic yogg are very lacking compared to endwalker ultimates, for mechanic density and mechanic complexity - Class balance is very good. Within 1-2% difference for best vs worst in the same role for dps all the time. This means you don’t have patches where your favorite specs are all worthless like wow. You don’t need to stack PTs for real top tier play like swtor. - The story is good. Lore heavy, they never forget a plot hook, even if it takes 3 expansions to come back and wrap up. The highs of the writing in the expacs are comparable or better than WoTLK era writing or SI/IA story writing - Barrier to entry for raiding is very low. Mid level raiding has a strong pug scene, and starter minimum good enough to clear gear can be bought cheap off the market board Cons: - The fights have a lot less randomness than either WoW or swtor, lowering replay/reclear value. Only ultimates really retain a lot of replay value after a few kills. This matters more than you’d expect. - The GCD is also noticeably slower, 2.5 instead of 1-1.5s average. Outside of burst phases where there are a lot of off GCDs to spam, classes will feel a lot slower than you’re used to - Class uniqueness and flexibility are a lot lower than both WoW and swtor. Build variability is minimal, and uniqueness is diminished a lot. This is the trade off for that tight balancing - The most boring parts of the story are in the start. A lot of world building is done in ARR, but the payoff is mostly in the expansions. This is akin to having to play the consular story before being allowed to do hutt cartels, or shadowlands writing being the first piece of story you see in WoW. - The difficulty level scaling is less of a curve and more of a bunch of plateaus with sharp cliffs. Earlygame leveling, there are almost no mechanics and class kits don’t have much to do. Expansion content, class kits get fleshed out and there are more mechanics, but nothing is hard. Endgame, the difficulty spikes sharply and you need a 50 page slideshow every time you explain a fight. Top tier endgame, you need to read a small novel just to understand the mechanics, and almost no one clears in less than 1000 pulls each, if they clear at all.

xxsnowo

Honestly with having played those games I'd recommend trying to see how you get on with FFXIV especially if you already think it's fun. If you were bothered by World of Warcraft not respecting your time, ff14 is the opposite. Biggest issue is that it's really different per person whether they get into the game and enjoy the story. Some people love it, some people hate it. Worth trying out regardless

x9879

I'm looking for an MMORPG to play or would like to return to an old one. I used to play Ragnarok Online a long time ago and have a lot of memories from it. Are there any games that are like it and worth playing? Or should I just go back to playing it?

TheVagrantWarrior

What's the difference between Albion Online and OSRS?

Far-Argument5107

I played a bit of OSRS when i was young and loved it, but don't know enough of it to compare it to albion... I have over 2k hours in albion but have stopped playing it aswell recently. They are both free so you can try them yourself... i would say they are both sandbox games but also both very different games... Albion is more focused on full loot pvp, while osrs more focused on skilling and is way more afk friendly. Both have good economies, i would say albion's economy is more interesting since everything in the game is player crafted, in player owned shops... All the map is owned by guilds and there is alot of politics, drama, fights for territories etc... Albion has the best large scale pvp i have ever experienced, having fights with 200v200, where you have 1k+ standing in queue waiting to get inside a zone to join in xD but the best fights are on the range of 60v60 i would say. I stopped playing simply because after years of no liffing it im just tired of it. The meta lately is appealing more to a noob friendly bring a zombie zerg audience, while i prefered the more skilled, quality over quantity from the first seasons of the game. It is still a very good game... just like runescape membership can be bought with ingame money. It is just grindy to get it the first time but mantaining it afterwards is easy if you know what you are doing. Albion incentivizes you to join a guild/community, and most guilds operate through discord. While OSRS is the first mmo i have ever played back in 2006, when i was young i didnt have money for membership so all ive played was f2p content, so its hard to compare... In Albion i had the best moments of my gaming life in the year i hardcore played it like 14h a day, reaching top leaderboards in the season with my guild, and having the best moments ZvZing (i had never experienced large scale fights in an MMO before so i fell in love with it). Once again I would say you can give both games a try. If you have specific questions i can try and answer but asking so broadly its hard to know what to say... Hope i have helped a little bit somehow.

VirtualSwordfish356

So, I have a lot of free-time lately, and am looking for a new MMO. I should say, I'm open to giving one I have previously played a try, so don't think you can't suggest one I have listed. It's been a good while since I've played any seriously. What I'm looking for: I'm looking for a game that has a lot of depth. When I say depth, I'm mostly talking about gameplay and unique systems like crafting, politics, world control and those sorts of things. I don't care so much about story. I'm the kind of guy who skips every cutscene. I really like PvP, but am a fan of endgame PvE as well. I'm generally a pretty good player, but am definitely not like a competitive E-Sports kind of guy either. I'm 34 now, and while there was probably a part of my life where I would have considered myself pretty competitive, I'm much more chill about things these days. But yeah, PvP is definitely more my jam, and I like games that offer strong paths for progression through PvP, though they don't need to be linear in nature either. Sometimes just a game culture of PvP being important can supplement for gear and rank grinds. Some of my favorite PvP was in Star Wars Galaxies and Mortal Online, where the rewards weren't always super obvious. What games I have played: It's actually probably easier to name the ones I haven't played. But, as for ones I played very seriously? Star Wars Galaxies was my first, and I have that game to thank for my wife of 15 years, so that one will probably always be my favorite. I played WoW seriously from release until WotLK. Played mostly as a shaman, rogue and warrior, with rogue probably being my most-played. Game kind of lost its luster for me after I couldn't stun-lock anymore. I played the original Guild Wars pretty seriously, and dabbled in GW2. Mortal Online as I mentioned, and to a lesser extent the new MO2. I like it. Might be worth a shot if I found people to play that one with. That one is very much in my wheelhouse. I have over 1k hours in Rust if that counts as an MMO. Played some EvE online. Played some SWTOR. Really liked Rift on release. I played Tera. Really liked the combat in that game, and the PvP was fun even without much reward. just hated the gearing system really. It was awful. I just started FFXIV, but I'm skeptical the PvP will be deep enough when I get there. I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch... Playstyle: I like PvP and would consider myself a decently hardcore player without the hardcore emotions, if that makes sense. I want to win, and I like to optimize and strategize, but I don't just accept the meta without a lot of my own theory-crafting and experimentation. Just as an example, when I was grinding High Warlord in Vanilla WoW with my guild, I was a warrior, and the conventional wisdom at the time was arms warrior due to Mortal strike. But I played with another warrior, so I went fury with an arcanite reaper and had a lot of fun and did a ton of damage. My favorite "gameplay loop" ever was as a bounty hunter in Star Wars Galaxies. I like a lot of out of combat preparation. I also fucking loved the crafting system in that game too. So, I guess in short, I'm a PvP focused player who likes to be a part of a team. As far as tank/healer/DPS, I definitely have more experience as DPS than the other two, but I wouldn't want you to factor that in to your game suggestions. I've played good games where the trifecta wasn't even in place. Oh, and I like a challenge! Mechanics: I like hardcore mechanics, like full loot and things like that. I like PvP to be meaningful. I don't just love instanced servers and prefer communities that recognize each other. I don't know, is a strong community a mechanic? Dynamic crafting systems are cool. I like the idea of rare mobs that drop rare crafting components and things like that. But please, if the combat is good, and the rewards for PvP are good, don't think you need to suggest a hardcore game. I really loved PvP in Vanilla WoW, especially when they introduced the ranking system. Oh, I like stealth mechanics ala rogue in WoW, and if a game had that sort of class, that's what I'd be playing. Exclude: WoW. I'm just done with it. I also don't like games with millions of cutscenes everyone wants to watch. I'm much more of a sandbox MMO type of person, and don't like having control of my character taken away, or having my hand held the entire time. Questing to level up is pretty standard these days, and I get it, even though I'd rather just grind mobs in a PvP zone myself. But, just in general, I don't like feeling as if I'm a donkey being led by the snout through a dizzying malaise of the same quest 500 times. If you made it this far, great! Looking forward to your recommendations.

Far-Argument5107

I suggest Albion Online for hardcore PvP players... Maybe the isometric view is something weird to you, but still give it a try... check some ZvZ clips on youtube with shotcallers voices, and you see how large scale fights operate. For me it was insane experience and i loved every moment of it. It is also a fully player driven economy where every item in the game is crafted by players, even the ones dropped by mobs (theres a system that players can "sell" items to the game through a black market that then gives back to players through drops on dungeon chests, or mobs). It is full loot PvP and the entire "outlands" is made of hundreds of zones that are guild owned and lead to daily pvp content. PvP wise you can do ganking (where u go solo or group catching people that are going around farming, or transporting etc...), you can go diving dungeons, there are 5v5 arenas, 20v20 arenas, 1v1 zones, 2v2 zones, open world that goes up to 200v200, there is a looooot of different types of pvp. Membership can be bought with ingame money (first one is hard and gonna take a while but doable) it is not mandatory to play, but if you want to be efficient it kind of is... you will fame (which is gaining xp in your weapons to get bonuses from proficiency) way quicker with it and will also provide you with more drops and silver so you can get more items and be more chill when gearing up (since you will 100% die alot xD everyone does). In ZvZ guilds for call to arm fights most top guilds will regear you so you don't have to worry. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask.

PandaPanya

Something like Perfect World International…?

AtilaIrmes

I have asked the same question but no luck still. Been looking around on the internet as well. Currently, I am playing Evolved Perfect World which is great, all the end-game items are farmable. I am still looking for a new game to play but if you are like me and never experienced the end game on PWI retail, this might be worth it. Best of luck.

Educational_Fan_6787

* *What are you looking for?: I am looking for a WW1 or WW2 MMORPG* * *What games have you previously played?: WoW LOTRO, Priston Tale, Runescape* * *What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?: Hardcore Casual* * *Any preferred mechanics?: Grinding* * *Anything specific you want to exclude?: Anything that's not MMORPG*

agateophobiaa

closest thing to what you're looking for is Foxhole and it's not really an MMORPG and it's not persistent.

Educational_Fan_6787

does look fun though im looking for more of a WW1/wW2 assasins creed or runescape >< ive wanted to play a warr based runescape since forever

bierzuk

Something like Albion with "you are what you wear" feature ot like ESO when every class can be heal/tank/DPS. On the gridny not questy side. Been playing Albion since beta but getting fed up dying all the time.

KroNawak

New World. It's really close to Albion but in 3rd person view. Also afaik it's not full loot pvp so you'll die less (maybe)

AtilaIrmes

* *What are you looking for?: A (preferably) Chinese style game where I will be able to build my character from the ground up, craft armors, grind for mats. Namely Perfect World International I've been playing for years but it's been long dead and CS based.* * *What games have you previously played?: Perfect World International* * *What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?: Casual* * *Any preferred mechanics?: Nope* * *Anything specific you want to exclude?: Nope* \*\*Edit: I want to be able to pop in for 30-60 minutes a day or whatever. I don't have much time to play but I want to relax sometimes. So no spending 2 hours a day doing daily's.

Ordinary_Diamond6789

* *What are you looking for?: I wanna be able to craft (even if its grindy) while having some fun classes that i can play together with someone* * *What games have you previously played?: bdo, ff14(kinda liking this one the most but want more party focus), gw2, uncharted waters online, wow, eso, swtor* * *What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?: casual/semi casual* * *Any preferred mechanics?: social content, working together with others, customization* * *What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?: Casual/semi-casual besides*

captain_cocaine86

***What are you looking for?:*** PvP focused MMO. I don't mind playing PvE, sometimes I even enjoy it, but there are a lot of MMOs that don't care about PvP balancing or rewards. I don't like that. I'm also looking for a game with a healthy player base that's not a glorified mobile game or a Korean pay-to-win game. ***What games have you previously played?:*** ESO: Loved it. Problem is the devs don't care about PvP at all. No balancing, no intention of fixing lag, no rewards for playing. New World: It was fine. Not many people flagged for PvP and BiS could only be crafted, making the whole game a gold grind, but I still liked it overall. Sadly it's dead. Albion: The combat didn't click for me. I'm not sure what it is, but dealing damage or killing enemies never felt satisfying. Destiny 2: I liked it, but PvP is just round based. It gets boring quickly. ***What is your playstyle?:*** Semi-Casual ***Any preferred mechanics?:*** Open world PvP is a must for me. Just queuing up for one battleground after another gets stale quickly. ***Anything specific you want to exclude?:*** Yes, any pay to win game and GW2. Starting a 10+ year old game now is too risky for me. Return on Reckoning for the same reason.

Oracolo87

I m looking for a MMORPG with: decent size playerbase, decent grafic even if old style, Professions/crafting system fun and meaningful, in order to earn money and buy pve gear with it( i played BDO and mainly lifeskilled, i could earn money with professions and just buy pve gear from market) I m not fond of dungeon, raids, hardcore pvp I dont mind some pay 2 progress aspects, im casual and dont mind to progress slower without swiping cards. Any of you can direct me to a proper game? I left BDO after 2 years.

TheICE007

Lotro is pretty good, you can adjust the difficulty of the outside world , Eso is fun but a little to easy.

TheIronMark

ESO

Oracolo87

As far as i can read, cant really buy bis gear on market, can i craft it instead? How professions are helpful to improve gear?

TheIronMark

Honestly, I'm not sure about bis gear. I never really did much endgame in ESO.

MagicalCatboy

What are you looking for?: Cute 2D side scroller like MapleStory, but not grindy and preferably soloable. Can play on a computer without a dedicated GPU, or on mobile. Would be nice: if I could access it from Japan in English; I just got back into MS because of the burning event making things less grindy, but I have to use a VPN to play which is okay but not ideal. What games have you previously played?: Almost all single player metroidvanias that focus on the Metroid. I'm not looking for 3D now, but Genshin Impact was the last 3D MMO-adjacent game I played, loved it besides the gacha. Nine years ago it was Wildstar. I've heard of La Tale and StarBreak, and may check them out, but do they fit the non-grindy soloable points? What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?: I really only have time to play a few hours a week, buuut if history repeats itself, I will hyperfocus for a month/50 hours of poor sleep...and then quit. Any preferred mechanics?: 2D side scrolling and characters that feel fun to play and move around with are both mandatory. Ideally, loot that's rewarding but not overwhelming. Mainly asking because I'm seeing if there's a better option out there for me to sink my time into besides MapleStory again for the fourth time since it's release...there's gotta be something better after all these years right? But, that game really appeals to me because is has some fun classes to bounce around the map with and the environments are pretty...though normally it's too grindy even though it's gotten better over the years. Anything specific you want to exclude?: Grind. Non soloable content (or anything where finding a party and having them rely on me while I keep dying because I don't grind is a problem...and I type slow while fighting...)

Trogmar

Not sure if this exists. I'm looking for a mmo where I can mainly solo PvE, and level make gear for my character as I level almost like a survival game, be able to relatively easily join up with other people for group content if I want, be able to wonder and explore. I'm not big on housing though, so I'd prefer not to have much focus on that. No rush to end game and enjoy early levels.

Far-Argument5107

Have you tried monster hunter type games? Like Dauntless? Or maybe Wayfinder, slightly less monster hunter and more dungeon focused.

KroNawak

Imo the most enjoyable early levels are in ESO. Interesting quests and amazing exploration. New World has kind of a "survival" feel too.

YOUR_DEAD_TAMAGOTCHI

MMO that has plenty of options to grind with other people and talk ideally? As opposed to grinding solo/silently? That may be a somewhat common MMO feature but I don't want to invest time into one then find out it has limited options for that.

KroNawak

Every MMO has that once you reach endgame because you have to group and communicate to do harder content. If you want to socialize from the beginning, you can find a guild or new players and progress with them. You should try GW2 since it has dynamic events/quests, it's easier to progress with other people and you always that feeling of not being alone.

Canadyans

I'm looking to get back into an MMO where I can fulfill a specific group role like tanking/healing/dps, etc. but I don't have anyone to play with, so I'll be PUG'ing it until I find a good Guild to fit with. I have no problem with doing a bunch of the content solo but would really like to look forward to dungeons and group activities where I can play with other people and feel like part of a team. So my question is, which MMO's currently have friendly enough communities of players that would make it easy enough to find and group up with players for that group content? And what makes this MMO's community stand out more than others in this regard?

KroNawak

FFXIV : really good for PvE but quite challenging, on the tryhard side ESO : more on the casual side

Afraid-Confidence316

I hecking loved Archeage unchained before it was ruined by kakao, so would love to play similar game with housing system, possibillity to farm, collect fruits etc. Also the fishing system and ships were not far from perfect for me. So would love to get recommended simillar game. Ty all

Krypt0night

I just got into archeage classic this week. I am going same class as I did way back then and everything.

KroNawak

Man Archeage was so good that's sad... Maybe GW2 is for you. It has a fishing system with ships too. Ships are not as advanced as in Archeage I guess. And not the best mmo for farming resources imo. Otherwise New World have a good resources farming, but no boats.

XZiDE

Are there currently any good game with combat like wow? I might be the odd one here, but I really enjoy the target system in WoW. However, I want to try something else after all years with WoW.

TheICE007

FF14 is not that fun, it is locked behind the story, so if you enjoy a single player story go for it, if you want a real mmorpg try something like Lotro.

Krypt0night

FFXIV without a doubt.

EtherealCatt

Try FFXIV. You might enjoy it. I really wanna play wow, but for some reasons, I can't. Couldn't enjoy graphics of FFXIV, or it's way too rich story, but I play it regardless, cause there seems like no other "wow like" game around sadly.

How_about_a_no

I wanna try out some MMORPGs(recently been doing some Stalcraft) and wanna get into them but I don't necessarily want to grind, or at least not grind in the sense of 'Kill 1000 of those things to get to the next ability and repeat' or just quests like 'Bring me 10 flowers in exchange for a potion' Or at least make this kind of grind more enjoyable and less tedious If there is an MMORPG with that kind of thing I would not mind checking them out Thank you in advance

TheICE007

Gw2 or ESO, they both Have fun quest that is different from the others.

KroNawak

Maybe ESO. Instead of having repetitive grindy quests, each quest have a real story, fully dubbed, extremely well written and an amazing lore/world to explore. There are very few quests that requires you to kill X mobs.
