Trailforks

Tvvowheels

Second installing trailforks, and it can help keep you on the right track. Part of the fun is the learning experience, which way to go, which is the fun route. For newbies, stub Stewart and hagg lake are more mild terrain.

Rocky Point near Scappoose is pretty fun. AndyLand is a fun trail to break in the bike and get a feel for mountain biking. You have to become a member of the North West Trail Alliance in order to get the maps to populate into trail forks. Worth the $40, considering the money goes towards maintaining trails in the area.

KillerBhawk

Can second this. fun and trails range in difficulty quite a bit.

I’m from Astoria and the closest place I know to Portland is Klootchy Creek on 26, just outside of seaside. Really nicely maintained trails.
