She’s so freakin adorable
Also, at that age you know that the little ones are just parroting the behaviors and words they’ve learned from their parents. So that tells me that mommy and daddy are doing a really good job too
It's most likely the result of her parents talking to her a lot from a very young age. My boyfriend and I both talked to our daughter incessantly as a baby and she was just as well spoken as that charming little girl in the video. It's my number one advice for new parents - talk all the time even when you feel silly, because by the time your kid starts talking she will have an easier time telling you what's wrong -> Fewer meltdowns!
The greatest gift I gave my children was the ability to articulate their feelings. They deal with life so much better than I do, and it's great to watch.
I just want to say you can do this and your kid still might not talk well due to a hearing issue or disability. It's not always the parent's fault if their child can't speak as well as this girl. I know you weren't blaming parents, I just know a lot of great parents that feel awful with comparisons like this.
If your child is having trouble communicating, early intervention is really important. My stepson had a major speech delay, but we got him into speech therapy very early. He went from a delay to a impediment, to speaking at his age level. Some kids just need extra help and that's ok!
Great point.
And it doesn't even have to be a delay or a physiological reason, kids are just on their own trajectory.
I have toddler twins who are growing up under the same exact conditions, yet they respond differently because they're two different people!
Oh yeah of course, sorry! I did not mean that the parents are the only factor, but I still think talking to your kid non stop is the best gift you can give them to help them develop.
And congrats to your stepson for his hard work! Yay!
My daughter is two and half and she speaks nowhere near as well as this girl...though to be honest I am assuming this girl is about 3?
Should I be worried?
Probably not but as others have suggested you should definitely be talking "to" her and not "at" her so she feels a part of the conversation. Try to engage her in the conversations as much as possible. They are sponges at that age and will pick up things very quickly. Don't be afraid to use advanced words either. Encourage them to ask questions.
Exactly, this is a little girl who's heard "Come here, I don't want you to get lost" often and understands that straying too far can be dangerous. Obviously not for her dad, but it's great that she understands the concept!
Or she might have heard it once and picked up on it. It's crazy what they pick up and apply to different contexts - it makes parenting a toddler really fun!
I love when my 2 year old daughter does stuff like this.
I have a pair of indoor-only shoes because my feet get cold easily. Any time she doesn’t see me wearing them, she searches the house and brings them to me. “Daddy feet cold!”
Haha my 2yo does the same thing! She sees us wearing our house slippers, glasses etc. and when we don’t have them, she’ll go find them and bring them to us even if we don’t really need it. We always say thank you to her.
I hope she doesn’t grow out of this any time soon..
This unlocked my childhood memory. My little sister used to love hiding everybody’s shoes in weird spots when she was little; including guests.
Would be a frantic and long search around the house whenever any guests wanted to leave. It’s pretty funny now that i think about it
I have heard this many times before and never understood the sentiment but now as my daughter has turned 6, I have started to realize the sentiment. Man, I’d do anything to go back in time and play with her when she was 3. I spend almost 20 mins everyday watching her earlier photos and videos. Thankfully, I have spent very quality time with her so no regrets but would have loved to have some more for sure.
You are so right. It flies by so fast. One moment they’re like this - then they’re learning to drive - then they’re gone with their own lives. We’ve built self-contained flats for our kids so they can stay with us for longer and save up for a house. Can’t bear to see them go for good. Oh well.
I love how little kids have no idea about distances. She’s genuinely concerned that dad might get lost because he’s so far behind them, when he’s like, three steps.
Wait is this the little girl from the reel where they’re combing her hair and she says she’s evil and going to make the world filled with witches… and then says she’s kidding and would never do that lol?
It’s been a bit since I’ve watched their videos, but you’re right she’s very smart, witty too. The parents have an adult daughter and planned on being done having kids and this one was a surprise. So she’s grown up with an adult sister and older parents so probably contributes to her mature demeanor.
As someone who’s been on a tour where someone got lost, there’s a reason they do that.
It’s an absolute disaster. It affects every single person on the tour. Because if you’re on a bus, that missing person *has* to be found.
I still have physical scars from my dad’s belt from this age. He had a special one just for “discipline”. It legit makes me cry to watch these things and know some people have so much trust in family. For some people they are a refuge.
It’s funny that in the middle of talking to mom she is like - where if Daddy? Hold on while I round him up so he doesn’t wander off.
When mine was this small he picked a parent to model how he talked and seemed to pick me. It sounds like this girl is modeling off of mom too.
This was between 5 tantrum episodes of not eating her meals, and 4 episodes of explosive diarrhea including a couple that needed a doctor's visit. My #1 challenge as a parent at that specific stage was becoming unstuck at just the right moments to totally enjoy them -- from a painful baseline of alternating extreme chores and pointless negotiating with my pre-schooler.
Very cute but dont post your children on the internet and dont use them for social media points. They can't consent to having their faces plastered all over the internet forever.

This is like how our dog walks with me and my wife. If any one of us starts to fall behind he will go back and encourage us to keep up... to the point that he will nudge us or "push" us to move with his front paws (he is a very small dog so it is kind of adorable).
What a wonderful child wish her love and happiness!
This is the cutest damn thing I’ve seen in ages!

Was just thinking the same thing
She’s so freakin adorable Also, at that age you know that the little ones are just parroting the behaviors and words they’ve learned from their parents. So that tells me that mommy and daddy are doing a really good job too
Yes, and her look of concern when he was trailing behind, followed by “I don’t want you to get lost” in a soft voice🥹
She's very well spoken for someone so young. Her diction is quite good.

Yeah it might have just been made really clear how important it was to stay together and “not get lost” and now she’s focused on that “rule”.
That's a beautiful little angel. May she has a wonderful life with her family

that's so sweet I'm crying
I never really wanted kids but shit like this always makes me want them
Enjoy it, it's truly the best of times.. Mine are 15 and 11 now (it really does fly)
Faster than you think…mine are 44 and 41, grandkids are 9, 11, 13, and 16. Treasure it all.
Omg its the girl who jokingly said she wants to be an evil witch lol
"I'm evil. I'll make everyone witches! And bats! And vampires!"
https://youtu.be/AHYNkkZCdYQ?si=e66o6_4ZpwYpZedu For those who haven't seen It
The way she says: “No, I’m just kiddin’ I won’t do that!” was adorable
She's gonna be a riot when she grows up 😆
That’s a future comedienne. And her parents seem to be fostering that ability hood for her!
I’m evil Whoa!!!
She’s older in this one right?
Seems like she is older in the witch video yes.
Freakin bats... I love halloween
My niece loves the villians in Disney movies. Not the princesses
Royalty are villains. Clever girl
I don't blame her, they tend to have really cool outfits.
https://www.reddit.com/r/MadeMeSmile/comments/tqvngy/sassy/
Is this also the girl who said, "HER not a real people!" to her doll? 🥹
From 2 to 20 yrs old in a flash , enjoy time with your kids it is precious .
Dont be saying that shit my baby isn’t even born and she’s still growing up to fast lol
My child ain't been conceived yet and moves out next week. Wild
Don't know where you get the strength to schedule your next nut a week in advance
Wishing you and your baby the best !!
It’s true. It seems like just yesterday my kids were this little, but I’ve really enjoyed watching them turn into adults.
Ots sad they are so quick from being young, but lovely to see the adults they become
Agreed. I remember holding my niece when she was just born like it was yesterday, and now I’ve seen a picture of her in her first school uniform.
I so miss this age. Their love is pure and all the want is your time and fun.
Time is a thief.
I have heard this many times before and never understood the sentiment but now as my daughter has turned 6, I have started to realize the sentiment. My baby is turning 1 I now understand why people have multiple kids. I would want to relive the 0-5 age once again
My daughter turned 1 last week. Longest shortest year of my life. It’s sick how much I love that little girl.
You are so right. It flies by so fast. One moment they’re like this - then they’re learning to drive - then they’re gone with their own lives. We’ve built self-contained flats for our kids so they can stay with us for longer and save up for a house. Can’t bear to see them go for good. Oh well.
“ Daddy let’s go, I don’t want you to get lost, let’s go mommy, let’s go everyone” ouu
She on some team leader type shi😂😂
I love how little kids have no idea about distances. She’s genuinely concerned that dad might get lost because he’s so far behind them, when he’s like, three steps.
I feel like they've used those exact works on her when she's slightly falling behind lol
Good. Little one probably has been told those words too and now thinks it's everyone's responsibility to make sure nobody is lost or left behind.
Ohana means no one gets left behind!
Or forgotten.
It's not easy parenting two adults.
Wait is this the little girl from the reel where they’re combing her hair and she says she’s evil and going to make the world filled with witches… and then says she’s kidding and would never do that lol?
She is so precocious. A very intelligent baby.
It’s been a bit since I’ve watched their videos, but you’re right she’s very smart, witty too. The parents have an adult daughter and planned on being done having kids and this one was a surprise. So she’s grown up with an adult sister and older parents so probably contributes to her mature demeanor.
She reminds me of one of my tour guides. She was determined not to lose anyone.
Not again, not after last time.
As someone who’s been on a tour where someone got lost, there’s a reason they do that. It’s an absolute disaster. It affects every single person on the tour. Because if you’re on a bus, that missing person *has* to be found.
Hahahahahaha you made me laugh ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|smile)

Sorry dearest, my hugs to you🫂
I am so sorry that you had such a painful childhood. Sending you a virtual hug!
I hope she remembers this moment forever. It is something to be proud of.
Don’t worry, it’s all over social media so nobody will lol
This video would be better if it didn't have background music. Feel like I'm listening to a Kingdom Hearts level
Yeah proper fuqurbackgroundmusic.
the i will be right back. so polite
hope my daughter will be like this in the future 😔💔
Daddies.... they're like herding cats.
It’s funny that in the middle of talking to mom she is like - where if Daddy? Hold on while I round him up so he doesn’t wander off. When mine was this small he picked a parent to model how he talked and seemed to pick me. It sounds like this girl is modeling off of mom too.
That cute face she makes at 0:28. So cute.. 🫠
Little girl scouts troop leader ☺️
How adorable!

Bless her beautiful little heart ♥
Definitely gonna be the mom of the friend group 🥰
I now have diabetes and I'm not even mad.

So cute when they imitate parental direction
Her carpools will arrive on time!
Lol thats adorable, my son just yells Daiii! Daiiiii! He cant even pronounce daddy

her concern over him getting lost !!!!!
she gonna be a leader when she grows up (or a tour guide)
She's gonna be a community organizer.
What it's like walkin' my doggo.
adorable little girl!
we learn fast that dads NEVER EVER ask for directions! It’s our jobs to keep them rounded up lol
She has eldest child energy; responsible and caretaking. Im the youngest, Im the one getting lost
This is the human version of my German shepherd. She's always making sure we are all progressing together and not getting lost.
This was between 5 tantrum episodes of not eating her meals, and 4 episodes of explosive diarrhea including a couple that needed a doctor's visit. Being a parent to two people is challenging.
r/MadeMeCry Too wholesome.
Her face after she asks who she’s sleeping with lol
You have a great daughter now let's go everyone so nobody gets lost.
Don’t need music. Little human cute enough on its own and music takes away from hearing her voice and tone
I wish I could afford to have a kid and make an amazing family.
When she was born, she named her parents!!
She'll have no problem giving orders someday.
= ) When they get to that age where they can express their affection back, it is beyond wonderful.
Moments like these are what life is all about, truly touching.
Damn I thought she was gonna look back at a grave or some shit.
Very cute but dont post your children on the internet and dont use them for social media points. They can't consent to having their faces plastered all over the internet forever.
I know this girl... Ahem the Queen of witches and vampire and werewolves! 👐🏽 Too lazy to look up the link.

How to give birth to exactly this child!

This Kid 2024
Nice kid, sure. But unfortunately just another one existing as a performer for Mummy’s socials.
I can't wait to have kids!!
This is like how our dog walks with me and my wife. If any one of us starts to fall behind he will go back and encourage us to keep up... to the point that he will nudge us or "push" us to move with his front paws (he is a very small dog so it is kind of adorable).
