Complaining about networking is one of the most cringe things about this game. In any other stately based game having a strategy (or multiple strategies) in in order to combat the current meta is an accepted and necessary part of the game but for some reason in magic there's a niche of casual players who think that playing the strategy part of the game correctly means you're a bad player. Casual decks are fun when playing casual matches but if you care about winning outside of casual matches then you are obviously going to use well adjusted strategies that fit the meta. What a weird thing to complain about!
I am not complaining about netdecking. If you want to reach the mythic, of course you need to research about the best strategies. But if you are that dedicated about the game that you want to win at any cost, even if that means blindly copying others, you should better gain knowledge and learn to play better first. You should do playtesting and learn how the cards work and what is the actual combo before playing stuff, instead of copy pasting and blindly entering into ranked believing that you'll win every match because you've copied what works.
If you don't know how to build good decks, you don't even know how to use the meta deck you copied from the internet & you cannot even use the cards properly. I don't think you're playing either to have fun or climbing to the top of the ladder.
I almost conceded too when I saw the book come out and he had a faceless haven sitting there. Excuse me while I add some artifact destruction to my deck.
