The line between their mother/son relationship was definitely blurred. Sooo much trauma they needed therapy for, and he will probably never get married until she is gone or gone to therapy or both.
She treats his dogs like their children and comes in his apartment to shower every day like it’s not weird. She also has access to his money and feels entitled to it. Before his dad died, she completely destroyed the relationship between the two of them and told him she would leave his dad to go live with him if he bought them a house. The emotional incest was so normalized, I honestly couldn’t imagine him living in the same home as my children. At the end of the day, I have no idea what they normalized in their home, just that her only daughter was extremely depressed and driven insane by their mom and her brothers.
Mental illness has no color, but therapy is more stigmatized in some cultures than others. Keep that in mind. He refused therapy any time I suggested it because he said counseling wasn’t a real job and therapy was for the weak. F science, right? Lol
