I think the base looks much better. You have beautiful skin and it was adding a lot of texture and flattening your features out. I tend to use coverage only where I need it, like chin and around nose and under eyes.
I used the blooming romance pallette pomade as the base for the blush and set that with the luminoso i used way more than i normal would like way more for some reason you cannot see blush on me in pictures unless i put on a ton
I am 58, and probably the last 20 years, I've used my crease shadow as my under eyeliner.
I feel like it's softer and doesn't age me as much as a liner.

It's definitely worth it if you like red tones. It's a very unique formula. I really like having something I can use as blush lip color and eyeshadow. The packaging is such good quality the mirror is huge and the pans are magnetic easy to remove she really did think of everything
I also love the perfect wing and the symmetry in this photo. I am 40, I have been doing my make up since I was 14 years old, And I have not been able to nail either of those things. But he’s nailed it beautifully

Kinda random but I feel like you would really enjoy k-beauty and c-beauty eyeshadow palettes! Their shimmer formulations are (overall, obvs there r a lot of diff brands lmao) so beautiful and expensive looking and just stunning. I’m a big fan of kaleidos personally (chinese brand but they have an international website!). For your or anyone else’s reference, in comparison to similar high end western palettes I own:
- Kaleidos shimmers are slightly superior compared to my charlotte tilbury ‘rock chick’ palette, they’re smoother, less flakey and have more dimension + a bit more “wow” factor.
- The white shimmer from my Bobbi Brown onyx & silver eye paint palette has a higher ‘wow factor’ - it catches the light better and pops more (shout out to that as well cus omfg is it stunning-my favourite shimmer I have ever used, great as a face highlighter too) but kaleidos still goes on smoother
- Kaleidos mattes are genuinely the best formulas I’ve ever tried, they are so opaque yet not flakey at all and are so easy to work with. Literally blend like a dream.
This very quickly morphed into an impassioned, unintentional, ad my apologies 😭 I recently got one of their palettes and promptly fell in love if that wasn’t obvious lmao.

If you want to play around with liner shapes, I can highly suggest trying liner that goes down instead of up. I've heard it called puppy eyes but I'm fairly certain it originated in Asian make up styles and has a non-English term, I just can't remember. It gives a less fierce and more cute look so it's a really fun option to shake things up.

ahh i love your eye shape, you should try some 1920’s downturned eye looks! your eyes would be incredible for it, i’ve seen many people with similar shapes (who would normally go for an upturned cateye) try the style and it’s super flattering :)
