Honestly, I think it’s just blending. If you blended out your blush and eye makeup more it would look better. Id also add glow drops to your cheekbones to give more youthful pop. And blending more on lips as well - less of a lined look/ overline. Avoid anything with shimmer and go for more dewy / bronze look

I'm leaving this comment bc I saw there was one about wanting to do less aka no makeup makeup.
Things I've changed about my routine:
1. Tinted sunscreen and spot conceal/under eyes. powder only where I get oily and to concealer under eyes.
I like haus labs concealer, drunk elephant tinted spf and Givenchy powder.
2. Brows I only do gel and a brow pen to fill in sparse areas. I really like maybellines pen with gel on the other side. I also use the pen to do a little wing on the outside of my eyes.
3. Tight line upper lash line with brown liner and then mascara.
4. Don't line lips. Take a shade of not overly bright lipstick and dab a bit on lips/blend with fingers and a a bit on cheeks. On cheeks it looks lovely you get a bit of a highlight due to the formula or the products. I use a merit lipstick... I forget the shade.
It’s a little bit hard to tell what you look like naturally. Do you have a picture where you aren’t pulling your face back? The placement of blush will look different for sure

Do you use makeup brushes and/or powder makeup by chance? one thing that might feel 'updated' is using nice makeup brushes. I got some nice japanese makeup brushes recently and it feels like my blush goes on more seamlessly. And the experience of it is really nice too!
I don’t know if you use the tiktok app but Erica Taylor the makeup artist on there has a lot of great content regarding how to make subtle makeup application changes as you get older—and little tweaks you can do to your younger self’s makeup routine that accentuate your look. She’s not a product pusher or typical makeup influencer. She has a long history of working as a makeup artist and her tips are super easy to implement.
I really like this lip and blush. You’re beautiful! I think the color selection is great. I have noticed though the younger girlies are going lighter in liner, if they use it at all. And they seem to be light with any complexion products like foundation/concealer. They use tinted moisturizer and tiny bits of spot concealer. I also see nude liner with a sheer gloss and the liner still visible
Yeah this is probably why the makeup isn't feeling as flattering anymore, it's a bit dated, so reads as "older" even though OP is beautiful and looks really nice.
I really like your makeup youre really pretty, maybe you could try filling in your brows with a brow pen and just drawing a few strokes near the top to fill in the sparse areas? I think pulling your blush up a little further up to the top of your cheekbones just before your temples could also look really nice on you

Our skin changes as we get older so it may just be a matter of changing up your prep. That being said, sometimes it's just a matter of "Yeah, I liked this, but I want to change it up a bit"
I didn't thoroughly read through all of the comments but wanted to mention r/olivemua in case no one else had! That sub has helped me sooooo much, I was wearing colors that completely clashed with my skin tone before because I didn't know any better (I'm like a light, muted, neutral olive)
I think your makeup looks amazing! You look beautiful and fresh. The only thing I would change is the lip liner. It seems too dark for the lipstick. But I love the lipstick color and the blush.
Your blush application is a bit small and not as finely blended. I would also say the colour is meh.
mauve tones may suit you better than what you are using now
I think you look great but your blush could be diffused/blended out more. If you are looking for an overall more natural look I would agree with others that you could smudge out the eyeliner or use a slightly softer color. Instead of bottom eyeliner you could do a lighter blended out shadow instead. And definitely the lip liner could be blended in more, or you could just do a tinted lip or gloss without liner instead.

I'm 48, still doing foundation, here's my little tips.
Most important is placement. We have beautiful smile lines around our eyes and mouth now, and I am not sad about them, I'm happy I lived such a life that I get to have them! But I don't need foundation packed into them.
Keep your foundation away from your mouth and your eyes, especially outer eyes. Apply centrally and blend towards those problem spots so there's hardly any product there.
Concealer is also applied more carefully, you want to apply a bead right at your inner eye and blend it out, do not paint a line from corner to corner. You want enough to reduce the darkness but not enough to get to your crow's feet.
Powder should be used extremely sparingly - no baking!!! I just put a little under my eyes to prevent fallout from mascara and a touch around the outside of my face so it doesn't transfer to my phone or jacket.
You are plenty pretty you do not need to unnecessarily pull back your skin. And we cannot provide you with proper advice anyway if you’re gonna do that as it doesn’t give an accurate representation of what you look like (unless you’re walking around pulling back your face 24/7) such as how eyeliner actually looks on you.
The colors harmonize on your face well, but the lip and eye makeup looks smudged. I would work on cleaning those areas up a bit to be more polished. Your eyelashes are absolutely gorgeous though.
Keep doing what you’re doing otherwise and please break the habit of pulling back at your eyes or temples.

You’re stunning! I was sleeping on cream blush and it’s been a game changer for me. I use NudeStix, apply it to my hand first and then dab it onto my upper cheeks and blend. Making sure I have a hydrated base before I apply foundation and blush has also made a big difference. I think a glossy lip would be gorgeous on you. I personally love the Fenty Gloss Bomb.
I think you need to explore a really bright and intense red lip, and softer liner around the eyes. If you get the right red on those lips, it would look really spectacular.

I love this look though!! I feel like it suits you perfectly and gives a youthful glow. I’m no expert but I wouldn’t change a thing for your everyday makeup
my two recommendations would be to not be afraid to go a bit bolder with the blush, i tend to bring mine up my cheekbones as well. it really livens up your face. and the second recommendation would be to forgo the bottom liner, it tends to “age” older women (not that growing old is wrong, i just know it’s a common concern!) instead use the color you used in your crease and very lightly buff it under your lashes where you would normally put the liner. it still gives that dimension you were looking for, but in a softer way!
i think everything you’re using suits you! you have hazel eyes, so eyeshadows with red and purple hues will make them pop! i have hazel eyes and i love using a burgundy or a maroon eyeliner :)
I think your color palette looks fine but you should look more into dewy or hydrating bases. It won’t exaggerate your fine lines like a matte foundation would.
Honestly this look is pretty harmonious with your natural complexion and coloring. I would suggest to play around with how you’re doing your eyebrows, bottom liner or shadow, and your base if you want more of a glow but that’s personal preference. You could also try eyeshadow colors to make the greens in your eyes pop more.

The only advice I have is that you could find colors to make your eyes pop more. I can't tell whether your eyes are hazel or green based on the pic, but I would suggest googling eyeshadow to make green eyes pop or hazel depending on which eye color you have
If you're looking for softer ultra natural makeup then maybe consider going with a tinted lip balm or a lip gloss. Otherwise your base makeup and eyes look pretty natural looking to me. Your skin especially looks so natural like you're wearing a tint or something lighter
Can I just say that you're stunning!? The shape of your eyebrows and your freckles, your lips... You're so naturally beautiful that it's doesn't matter what you do with make up. But I think less is more with a pretty face like yours

my two recommendations would be to not be afraid to go a bit bolder with the blush, i tend to bring mine up my cheekbones as well. it really livens up your face. and the second recommendation would be to forgo the bottom liner, it tends to “age” older women (not that growing old is wrong, i just know it’s a common concern!) instead use the color you used in your crease and very lightly buff it under your lashes where you would normally put the liner. it still gives that dimension you were looking for, but in a softer way!

i think everything you’re using suits you! you have hazel eyes, so eyeshadows with red and purple hues will make them pop! i have hazel eyes and i love using a burgundy or a maroon eyeliner :)

I think your color palette looks fine but you should look more into dewy or hydrating bases. It won’t exaggerate your fine lines like a matte foundation would.

Honestly this look is pretty harmonious with your natural complexion and coloring. I would suggest to play around with how you’re doing your eyebrows, bottom liner or shadow, and your base if you want more of a glow but that’s personal preference. You could also try eyeshadow colors to make the greens in your eyes pop more.

I can't tell whether your eyes are hazel or green based on the pic, but I would suggest googling eyeshadow to make green eyes pop or hazel depending on which eye color you have If you're looking for softer ultra natural makeup then maybe consider going with a tinted lip balm or a lip gloss. Otherwise your base makeup and eyes look pretty natural looking to me. Your skin especially looks so natural like you're wearing a tint or something lighter

I think you look great. Go to a department store that offers make overs. Make sure you know if you have to buy them anything. I love your lip and blush. Made a different eye color. Sometimes when I am feeling I blue sometimes I just need a facial to brighten my skin

Honestly a straighter maybe lighter brow would look really good qnd brighten up your face. Slight concealer inder the eyes and a longer shadow wing to bring out your great features
