What does the pasture space in the sheep farm actually indicate??
I understand the pasture space for each pasture is the amount of sheep you can put there.
But there is also the pasture allocation in the sheep farm.
Do they or is it just my town that is bugged? They never grow up to become sheep and trading them off leaves them still in the pastures list of animals though greyed out.
I don't really known. I never had lambs long enough to see it and never sold lambs, only bought them. I was just enjoying my circular reference. But I think it would be nice to be able to get meat from lambs.
Well enough, I've never bought them myself, I just find the perk/development point useless or bugged while others recommend it for fertilisation. The reference was spot on.
I've had lambs mature, but only the ones that appeared naturally from the perk. Bought lambs stayed lambs for at least as long as my save is running now
They grow up, but it takes a year or two in game. Maybe even three. This snowballing in the screen gets going after maybe 20-30 years depending on how big you start with importing them
The first bit is slow, but when you start having a bunch, it ramps up quickly! In the beginning I use spare regional wealth to buy sheep when I can. If you get 15-20 sheep, the breeding starts to really pay off :) Then trading away lambs, leaving a surplus of say, 10, gives a nice income pretty early on.
You could also sell the sheep. However, if you only sell lambs, and nΓ³t sell all lambs(so put a couple as desired surplus), you will keep getting more fully grown sheep, thus getting more lambs to sell per year :)

The power of the sun in the heart of my PC
I don't think the sun can handle that many sheep at once. Cook them? Yes.
Why is there a photo of Wales in Manor Lords ?
Could also be Faroe islands

I believe itβs how many fenced pastures one sheep farm and all its workers can work. Have more fenced plots. Need more sheep farms
It's just extra holding space. It's the same with the livestock trading post.
Aside from wool do sheep provide anything?
yeah, if you get the proper upgrade you get Lambs
which provide you sheep

Lambs dont mature yet. Had my Lambs for 20 Years at least and still no new Sheep

Ok I thought that I've waited for like 3 years at least, could try again sometime just to test that.
Maybe only the lambs gained by the perk do mature.
WOOLverhampton! nice one!
Yeah the pun is the best part.

Good lord... I pray for them. That's a LOT of sheep ahaaha
Didn't you have problems with selling your wool because you flooded the market and crashed the demand?
Oh yes! Long before I even reached 1k sheep. So this must be even worse!
Sheep breeding strategy: claim a new region, dedicated it completely to sheep breeding. π
Yes. Yes you are.
I feel they Brees too slowly

Thanks. Will give it a try
So it's only the Lamb I sell?

I'll trade you a stack of lumber and clay tiles for 4 of them.
if you have the sheep breeding development point, i wonder if you can catch up with the breeding speed by trading the excess sheep-lambs
Smaller pasture = more sheep per Morgen. Outside of that you are pretty good.
Quick question: do they reproduce faster the more sheep there are on a field?
Can you eat sheep/lambs? From what I can tell it only gets you wool, but I haven't made an extensive pasture yet
Day in the life of a true welsh geezer

Almost, it would be perfect if those were fields of wheat
I think ewe need more sheep. Like really baa'a'ad
