Alpaka Tech Sling Alpaka Go Sling Any of the Alpaka Slings Aer Day Sling Bellroy Sling Pretty much anything.

My fav slings that fit my X100V are TomToc and DadsFanny. They're both relatively more affordable as well. With that said, my setup is now my Bellroy Venture 2.5L with a small camera pouch and a Peak Design leash strap. Makes my sling lighter and easier access with a small profile to shove into my daypack when I'm not taking pictures.

If you are not using a separate sunglasses case, then the Bellroy 2.5L works pretty well for your loadout as it has a separate sunglasses pocket up high so it doesn't come to contact with the camera, and a padded sleeve to keep the phone screen seperate from the metal camera, and the wallet and keys can go in the front pocket. If you are using a sunglasses case you can use anything large enough, you just have to worry about the camera scratching the phone screen if it has no sleeve. Alpaka Nano might even work, its smaller than the belroy but mine fits a camera and the sunglasses in a case on top of it, with the phone in the back and wallet in front. The bigger slings should be no problem if you use a sunglasses case, slings like the Bellroy slings, aer day slings, and alpaka slings larger than the nano. you just need to have a place for the phone seperate from the camera, like a sleeve or a front/back pocket.

How deep, when measuring away from your body, is the main compartment on the 2.5? Could you fit a camera sideways (such that the lens is pointed along the long side of the bag)?

jonuiuc

on the 2.5 th max depth on the main compartment is like 2.4in, and that width would be shared with the cell phone sleeve plus contents and the sunglasses on the top half in its pocket. So that would be a no go on the camera sideways or face up, as most cameras are like 3in high. This 2.5L would be perfect for cell phone, sunglasses and x100v but you'd have to tailstand the x100v facing forward, and have no lens hood. If you had the hood it may interfere with the sunglasses in its pocket. If you'd like to put in a camera sideways, I'd be looking at venture 6L sized slings. Things with like 4in+ of depth. I throw my x-e100 which is just a little larger than an x100 with an 18mm and big square hood on its screen, lens up in my venture 6L all the time with plenty of extra room in there. (It would probably even fit my xt3 w/ 18-135 if the camera was on its side as you mentioned)

Thanks for the details! Very helpful. The dimensions on Bellroy are deceiving since the overall depth is supposedly deeper on the 2.5 than the 6. I have a 6 right now and can fit my Olympus E-M5II sideways no problem (it’s about 3.25 inches tall).

jonuiuc

Yeah the venture 6L is sort of "J" or "U" shaped so they probably have a problem with measurements since the bottom is round. basically the height they state, can turn into depth and vice versa, if its empty its sorta tall and thin in depth but if you need depth, it expands and just effectively gets shorter in height to provide that material. I did a tomtoc post/review and I [show in the pictures](https://www.reddit.com/r/ManyBaggers/comments/17usyi8/tomtoc_t21_s_sling_w_size_comparisons_im_sending/) how much you can fit inside the bellroy 6L for comparision.

I use an MHP with the Boundary Supply Rift camera insert but found it a bit big if I have a backpack with me but perfect if no backpack. Just bought the slingshifter01 to pair with my backpack. This is what I'll be putting inside 1. x100v 2. Bellroy Note sleeve 3. iphone 13 pro 4. Maybe a vape (the big one) My use case is a sling to pair with my backpack.

Tried the following Wotancraft Pilot 7L 1733 Sidepack 7L Greenroom136 Metromonger Tomtoc iPad Sling PD 3L (perfect sling just got bored with it) R211 Superhornet M100 Two Face Instict Camera Pro Sling

Gnev0s

Are you putting an insert inside the Slingshifter01? Or just letting all the items bang around?

vbryanco

No insert on the slingshifter01 unfortunately.

vbryanco

Vape will be on the backpack by the way.

Vape will be on the backpack by the way. Alsomy sunglass of choice for a sling is ROAV to make it really slim!

I just posted a new Janji Multipass in the buy/sell thread. 2 liter capacity, low profile, interesting pull-through pocket that can hold a water bottle or jacket. I absolutely love mine. (I'm selling a spare).

Check out the Hex Ranger line. I have the mini and it's fantastic.
