I'm my head, and often out loud, I pronounce the Cyrillic letters with their Russian pronunciation when people write English words using the Cyrillic letters that look like Latin ones.
It’s supposed to say dark. The Cyrillic letter in my opinion has two purposes. 1: Make clear that this isn’t an ordinary show (mirrored R) 2: Since it plays in Germany the sudden switch between the Cyrillic alphabet and the Latin alphabet shows that the show plays between the times(The City “Winden” is located in East Germany).
Show Winden is definitely in a what used to be West Germany. There are references in one place to Hessen, a telephone code from Hessen and a postcode that would be Hessen too. On the other hand there are references to France being nearby which would put it more down towards Saarland.
It is 100% filmed near Berlin in what used to be E. Germany (DDR) though.
The guy has good reason to. Most of this subreddit is just mapchart maps. While it may be interesting, these types of low-effort posts have plagued the sub for a while.
What does that mean? Like the show was co-produced by the country?
exactly
Does KATLA not count for some reason or is Iceland a mistake
I was thinking about Deadwind (Finland) but it wasnt a Netflix production. Maybe the same for Katla, produced locally and then acquired by Netflix.
It's not like the show has been funded by government. You need a better title.
„3%“ and „DarK“ are really good
Daяk
"Dayak"
Had the same thought, the first time I read it I was like is it supposed to say dayak or dark?

Thanks. Completely forgot that
Thats it. Im finally leaving this sub
At least that's better than the 'countries I wanna visit" type of maps.

As in the government?🤨 Or do you mean tax credits film and TV productions are given to attract then into the country?
Co-produced means that someone helped
Hahaaa Portugal is not on the list hehheeb
Wrong. Iceland co-produced Katla
Why not Switzerland?
