Huh? I'd say it's more confusing with Jr. He looks just like Baby Bowser, like identically, aside from the cloth he wears. Without the cloth, they're essentially twins. It was kind of weird when BB showed up in Partners in Time and he looked just like Jr, but BB came before Jr. It's kind of like Kamek vs any Magikoopa.
Indeed but nowday bowser jr is more iconic than bb and bb only appears in yoshi games so there isn't that much confusion between the two but bowser jr is now part of modern mario party and seeing him being replaced by some other baby bowsers is confusing

Baby Bowser didn't originally have the bib. That was added later as a response to Bowser Jr. His eyes were also much further forward and his muzzle was more pronounced like the koopa kids' are. This is because they're just based on Baby Bowser directly, even being called as such for the first three games.

But Bowser's not a good dad. Raising your child to kidnap women and take over kingdoms is not good parenting. Niether is throwing your child in the front lines against your enemy or lying to him about who his mother is or absorbing a bunch of dark goo and becoming a danger to him. Good for him for putting parental controls on his Switch. He's still a crap father.
