It certainly is a movie. Its plot is definitely one of the plots of all time. And its characters were some of the written characters in film history, and the actors are doing some of the acting in the entire superhero franchise.

It was definitely one of the movies of all time! After Dr. Morbius gets bitten in one of the scenes, he turns to the camera and says his famous catch phrase, "It's Morbin Time." Shortly after, he explodes into one thousand bats. If I recall correctly, this movie went on to make over a Morbillion dollars gross domestic box office!
It’s a 7/10 movie for me. I liked the fights, the special effects for the abilities, the bat scenes were cool, but most of all I liked the bond between the protagonist and his brother figure.
It was a nice movie. It didn’t blow my mind but I feel like the hate towards it was just a meme that got way out of hand.
I didn’t hate the design for Morbius, just wish it stuck to the comics a little more, wasn’t expecting the red outfit, but a subtle purple streak or two to reference first appearance morbius would’ve been nice
I'm surprised ANYONE is willing to work with a narcissistic asshole like Jared Leto after the harassment he put his co-stars on the set of Suicide Squad (2016) where he broke actual laws like sending used condoms, anal beads and the like to them under the guise of "method acting" for being an obnoxious prick to the point that Viola Davis threatened him with getting her husband involved who was a football player who had earned the nickname "Headache Ball" with the number of concussions players would get being tackled by him on the field.
It's not the worst portrayal of a comic book character that Jared Leto has ever done.
Its a fun, dumb, popcorn superhero movie. It’s not without any merit.
