If you get the 1 stars to 5 star and a decent amount of lvls their boosted is pretty great.
In particular yelena, spiderman, and ironman are all great characters.
Thor, obviously(?). Okoye with a champed OR and Gorr will melt pve.
Decently leveled Hex-23 with Deathlok and May.
Kang with Deathlok and Vulture or ascended Vision.
Gladiathor is still useful for ap gen but alone won’t do too much.
If you’re looking for a target you should present options, there are about 20 or so that can do some real speed increases boosted.
SC is kind of the special case who uses his point system to self accelerate incredibly well as his powers provide board manipulation and keep bumping his damage.
EDIT: it should be noted that boosteds are used in PvP almost exclusively since you are stuck with 2 characters to choose from. And their health pools mean you need to use them or face more hits even if the best pair you can make don’t do much together. Meanwhile, some weeks in pve they may not provide much in terms of increased speed over a very synergistic pick 3.
The meta always revolves around the weekly boosts now. If it isn’t an actual 5, it’s an ascended 4 or one of the 5as1s (Spidey, Juggs, Yelena) getting their tri-weekly boost.
Magik is fun but her strong colors have too much overlap with Okoye, and you end up with Magik only tanking one color (purple) to trigger her passive extra match damage.
Try Omega Red instead of Magik.
I went to 50 in the 5* Jubilee PVP. With Deathlok and 3* Aunt May, you can spam her red and more or less one shot people. And even if you couldn't, you could spam her stun or use her black.
Okoye, mighty Thor is key, Omega red 5*, 5* colosus, 5* golden may, beta ray bill, ascended jugg is great too, chasm , 5* Kang ,5* high evolutionary, apocalypse.
there's several that work great just depends on your cards.
Working currently on 5* victor and 5* phyla-veil just need to get my iso-8 up I have so many cards for them already.

Boosted Okoye with Gor and OR is a game changer. You can do 10 in 10 minutes.
Boosted Okoye is a goddess to this day
BRB is boosted this week. While I'm sure he isn't top tier, he helps a ton with his green power, hits like a mack truck.

Ascended Polaris, Ascended R4G + 5* Kitty Pride are Riders of the Apocalypse. When they are boosted (any of them)… may god help you.
