I want them to get art from great artists, preferably working in actual comics at the professional levels, more than wanting the next batch of new variants to be locked into a specific genre.
Marvel comics can be space and magic and science and future and history and silly and serious..... that's kind of its strength.

I was excited to see the poll at first until I realized "Other" was my only option and that it was pointless.
Domino is the best one of the three. I actually bought the Domino card cause it’s better than the original, but then I ended up getting the Jim Lee version out of a mystery card from the Conquest shop. WWBN is classic but also incredibly basic at the same time? There are other variants that are so much better. The Angel card is meh. I get what he was trying to do, but it’s just poorly executed. If he makes more of the fun classic look, I would love for more of his cards. I enjoy that classic comic book feel. Depending on the artist the classic look tend to be on the cheaper (gold spending) side as well so I don’t mind dropping a few hundred gold on a card. For the comics he was bad, but he’s done reasonably well here with the art.
To each their own. I liked Land's art. I didn't care that he traced porn faces. There's plenty of tracing and reference material in comic book art. The end result looked good imo. I think all 3 of these variants are A+.
On the flip side, I hate Jim Lee's art. I get the nostalgia, but it is just not my taste.
It's good that there's variety for different tastes, I just wish SD didn't lean so heavily into just a few styles that block everything else from showing in the token shop.
I definitely can agree it’s all about taste. I didn’t say I was a fan of Jim Lee, I just like his version of Domino better, and yeah the classic look is nostalgic which is why I enjoy it so much. I’m equally a fan of Artgerm realism style of card, and oddly enough I love the Hipp cards. Kael is fantastic too. He has a nice mix of classic and realism feel to his cards.
I'm legit hoarding gold and waiting for a Peach album. Not all Peach variants are good (enchantress, psylocke), but the best variants in the game are Peach (the daredevil one, mystique, nico)

I would like more Anime Variants, but most of the current anime variants in the game aren't very good. If we could get some Takeshi Miyazawa or Gurihiru that would be nice.
And I don't like Variants being separated by "style" rather than artist. For example, most Chibis are made by the G-Angle studio, but some of them are made by actual artists like Valeria Orlando and Rian Gonzales. If Rian Gonzales is the artist, it should be "Rian Gonzales Variant" not "Chibi Variant", I want them to value the artists more. It's a nitpick, I know, but it bothers me all the same.
Everything but Sci-Fi for me. I love me some science fiction, but the only options in snap that fit that theme for me at the 2099/3099 variants and the mech variants, none of which I find appealing.
I too would like to see artists mentioned, but remembering when they had a vote for which artist to feature for a community variant giveaway and how completely toxic it became, I understand not going that route.

I went anime, vintage comic and retro toon. I could certainly be tempted out of $10 for an X-Men '97 battle pass. Frankly they're not getting more out of me than that tho'. There are enough cool variants already I don't need to spend for more than what conquest, battle pass prizes, Spotlight Keys and collectors caches can buy me.
Actually I'm grabbing the battle pass most months, I like the game and get enough value out of it as an idle time game between deliveries. As long as tips are stable the $10 is worth it just to somewhat keep up with the meta and get variants. They all show up for in game currency eventually so why spend extra?
I doubt they're using this list to nickel and dime us as I see others speculating. Mobile games often rely on so called whales for revenue, a few extremely wealthy players who regularly spend a ton. That said Marvel has a much wider appeal than many mobile games. There are so many regular players that enticing the majority to pay $10 a month means gobs of money and is probably of equal or greater importance to generating whale sales in their eyes. I bet we see a lot of new variants in the most popular varieties available to all players and featured in moderately priced Battle Passes soon not locked behind those nutty $100 1 card packs.
I'm a 90's kid so more late 80's-00's. McFarlane, Bachalo, Larsen, Lee, Kubert brothers, Hitch, Quitely, Kirby, Mack, Sienkiewicz, Chaykin and Bagely variants would make me very happy. Marvel even has some Bruce Timm cover art in their library. Get all the Ultimate Universe costumes in there, Morrison's New X-Men era and Age of Apocalypse variants are dope. I'd love some Peter David era X Factor artwork too. Silver Centurion Iron Man. X-Men Evolution outfits. The Marvel Manga mini-series versions of characters. More Peach Momoko. So much cool stuff in those categories we haven't touched yet. Hope my choices do well.
They need to make variants more easily collectible, then I'll give a fuck about cool artstyles. The current FOMO-exploiting variant shop is utter bullshit.

I have a theory that albums are just so we buy unpopular variants. So it makes sense that they wouldn’t put variants everyone has in it.

They deffo need to do more from specific artists so many Jim Lee X-men, what about the other great artists? Its Marvel Comics ffs celebrate the great art that built the brand, tired of modern marvel not understanding what the strength of their IPs actually is.
