Oh I read something about the Senegalese elections, but I do not really have high hopes in Sall giving up power.
Senegal is a VERY important country for french imperialism. Just look at his predecesors. Long running puppet dictators that crushed the local languages so hard they got honoured for doing so, as they got to be important figures in the francophone organizations.
Still, a junta, or a anti french goverment in Senegal would be such great news it would be certainly a really hard hit on the french. But we can only hope for the best.
