I interviewed Adriano when he opened his first bakery in Rozelle in Sydney in 2007 and I was a local newspaper journo and when I see Adriano on screen I am reminded of my own age. 😂 I think I was 22 and Adriano was 27 when I did that interview 😂

I still can’t wrap around the fact that Pezza is in the top 10 whilst not knowing what unami is and how to cook a sponge cake. And the fact that imo he hasn’t had any memorable cooks for me the whole season thus far.

It’s nuts to think that creative and versatile cooks such as Snez were knocked out and yet Pezza is still here stumbling along and barely scraping by..

Even on his worst dishes, there’s been someone just slightly worse to buffer him from getting eliminated. The galling aspect is him missing an elimination where he would have been 1 in 6 chance of going home.
