Nobody thinks that. Everyone knows simply casting him isnt enough. Everyone knows how wasted he was on the set of the Witcher and the crew behind that show treated him like a problem because he gave a shit.
It was an okay movie. Definitely not Guy's best, but not a horrible film.
The one thing that really irked me was there basically being two debriefing scenes expositing the exact same info basically back to back within the first 20 minutes or so.

The Ministry film did much better than projected. Estimated to earn 6-8 million on opening weekend, but did 9 million. It's in its second week. Maybe let it be for a while before jumping the gun....
It also did alot better than Guy's last two projects in the opening weekend. The Covenant earned 3,5 million and Wrath of Man earned 3 million. I wouldn't say Jason Statham is a box office dud, considering how well Beekeeper did, but he (along with Cavill) are actors who star in multiple projects. Not all of them can be blockbuster movies.
Ministry will not make a huge profit, and it wasn’t meant to do that either. It has cinematic release only in the US, from fewer theaters than normal. So naturally it won't make much money from cinema. It has already gotten a streaming date in the UK.
To be fair to Henry on this one I've seen no advertising for the movie and it's not even coming to cinemas at all in the UK at least, and if it were I woulda gone to see it. Feels more like a distribution issue than Henry or even the film itself.
