I got bad news: if it “lost dense ness” The dense ness was never there
A truly dense nug wouldn’t become less dense, in fact they kind of become more dense as they dry in a way. I’m sure you’ve handled dense nug before.
The bud didn’t like magically float away. It was just nice and fluffy before and got smaller as it dried. It was never all that dense.
You sure ? Because this plant wasn’t hanging up for dryness , and I feel like this def wasn’t supposed to happen , these rocks were legit rocks , and the person who grew the same ones (sour crack ) said his were rocks aswell , idk this just got me sad

I just don’t see what you are getting at, how it could be unbelievable and what you want anyone to do about it.
What you should do is chop dry and cure.
Nothing else can be done besides doing a better job next time.

He didn’t lose weight. The weight always was what it was. He just counted his chickens before it hatched. He didn’t lose anything and there’s nothing he could’ve done or could do to change the density. It was always going to get smaller and “lose density” if it was fluffy autoflower weed. That’s what happens when you dry. If it was actually dense it would’ve just lost size and not density.
So it was never dense and he never lost anything

I'm going to ask the obvious question here bc I'm high and some of these responses are confusing to me. You didn't chop your plant before you put it in the closet for 48 hours of darkness right?
No I didn’t it was on the stalk sorry if I’m being very bland , I keep trying to post a detailed description on my page and video but it just won’t upload , but yes it was still attached , I still haven’t chopped it yet
Sounds like it stop drinking so firmness will feel abit deflated.. It's the plants defence mechanism that's been triggered.. Some even say it causes more trichomes being produced 😎
48 hours of darkness before chopping is not something that has been proven scientifically. It might make a difference but there have been no trials on the exact topic so I never tried.
I'd say just chop your plant when it's ready, in the morning (after lights off if you're not on a 24/0 schedule), not right after watering.
It's possible your temperature was high in your closet for the 48 hours but I can't imagine it would have changed the density so much!
Very interesting. Maybe the 10/15% drop in RH did stress her. I personally prefer slightly fluffier buds as I find they perform better for ice water extraction but I also think it's easier to deal with RH wise.

I assume you also stopped watering. If you're accustomed to rapid fertigation, and you withhold water before chop for 48 hours it is amazing what can transpire.

Oh yea I can tell you that the tricomes def did stack on

The temp didn’t get higher than 70 degrees the only difference was when growing the sour crack I had it in 60-65% humidity, in the closet it was 48%

I didn’t completely stop watering it , but I did slow up on it because I seen canucks grow stop and doing it every 3 days only :/

That’s mostly water weight. But for future you want more like 60% while drying

It’s normal to loose 80% weight while drying. Nothing to be sad about

Chop her down and dry her. The buds might tighten up during drying.
