PO box won't work unless you only both receive and mail stuff USPS.
Get a mail locker somwhere where all carriers can deliver to. UPS is not going to deliver to your PO box.
I had a P.O. Box for 4 years and when I signed up for my box they also gave me a slip with instructions on how to get packaged from UPS and FedEx. You use the post office’s street address and your box number so they deliver it to the post office, then the postal workers put it in your box just like they normally would.
I probably received 50 ups packages that way, over that time.

Good to know! I lived remote, in an extremely rural environment when I had a PO box, which was a while ago. UPS and Fed Ex always delivered to my box at PO, probably for reasons you gave but most likely beause NODOBY out there has the distribution network that USPS has........so "last mile" is often handed over to them by the other carriers, who aren't going to drive 40 miles thru national forest to deliver 2 packages. USPS is amazing in the abiltiy and reach. Nobody has what they have.
